The Kolkos have a good approach towards foreign policy analysis and I was often surprised at how well thought-out this book was and how deep the analysis went. However, the depth of the analysis came at the cost of clarity, brevity etc. which made the book feel confusing and unfocused at times. There is a lot of information to process & a lot of it is valuable, but the authors don‘t really make an effort to help you process it.
