I never regret reading a Dulcie Dameron book. I actually had other plans to read something else, but when this ARC copy landed in my inbox, I couldn’t resist. 🤣
What starts (for Bliss) as a short term toe-dipping into the world of relationships again has always been something far more for AJ.
AJ is such a great cinnamon roll. Open, warm, direct, pursuing, funny, all the stuff.
Bliss is a single mom who loves her daughter and will do anything to keep her safe and knowing she’s loved.
The way AJ pursues Bliss but honors her wishes is so lovely to read.
This book is like cocoa with marshmallows and sprinkles on a cold night. All the warmth…and let’s be honest, Dulcie writes great kissing scenes. 🤣

I love a stubborn woman (perhaps she reminds me of myself?). I love an alpha man. I REALLY love when that man pursues that woman. I also love an age gap romance. I love overprotective friends. I love tattoos. I love professional athletes (ok, not in real life, but in books).
Know what this book has? ALL of those things! Know what else this book has? The ability to put you right in the middle of it all. I REALLY love when you can't help but be immersed in a story, and this book just draws you in. I've never been to Sacramento, Tahoe, or the Winter Games before. Well, not in person, anyway. But I have now. I felt the snow, I saw the slopes, I was on the ski lift.
This book is just...~literal sigh~ Yes. And I need more like it. Perhaps, oh, I don't know...one about Cash and Britta?

All the feels!!!!!!
Wow this book got me GOOD!
Absolutely adored the Insta-connection. Boy oh booooyyyy there are some sizzling kisses in this book!
Then the plot thickens and we really dig into bot A.J. and Felicity's life.
Pause, can we all just gush on the nickname A.J. gives her like 😍😍😍.
Okay but really when we dig into both of their lives ohhhh man do the emotions roll.
I was falling in love and healing right along with both characters, their stories were so immersive and emotional and man. I cried. I laughed. It was perfection.
Not to mention the fact this is a single mom romance.

Oh this was so so so sweet. I loved AJ from the get go because he was so sweet and charming and persistent. I loved his and Liss’s relationship. It felt really organic and natural and as always, I’m a sucker for immediate infatuation so i was all for obsessed-AJ. I really loved his relationship with Lyric and her calling him dad in the epilogue had me constantly turning back and rereading the scene because I couldn’t stop smiling. That’s another plus for this book, the epilogue was so sweet and wonderful and seeing their family made me smile 😊
I am very very intrigued by Cash and Britta’s history so I am eagerly awaiting their story 👀
Overall, a heartfelt book with a little bit of angst and ugly peoples and a whole lot of sweetness💙

This book is just perfection! Duclie Dameron is one of my autobuy authors and this book just proves why! I started reading it this afternoon once it was released and couldn't do anything else until I finished it this evening.
I absolutely adore AJ! He is a man that know who he is and what he wants. He isn't afraid that he is younger than Felicity or to speak his mind. I love that he is so protective and just wants to be the man in Felicity's life and her daughter's. I love that he sees Felicity for more than just her beauty and that he takes time to understand every part of her. And every scene where he gets to be with both Felicity and her daughter, Lyric just made my heart melt.
I love Felicity and her devotion to her daughter. I love that she isn't afraid to work hard and keep going even when life gets hard. She is such a great mom and the relationship with Lyric was so sweet! Even though she has a wall around her heart I love that with AJ's help she is able to let her guard down and allow a man to be part of their lives.
If you are looking for a perfect winter romance full of swoony kisses, heart melting moments, the cutest 8 year old, and just an all around amazing closed door romance read this one! It is definitely one of my favorite books I've read this year!

Oh my goodness, what a fantastic read this was!
Right from the beginning, I was drawn into this story. Felicity and AJ meet at his family's lodge, where she is having a girls' weekend away. They are instantly drawn to each other, but she has no desires to be in a relationship with anyone... so instead they agree to three days of enjoying each other's company... no last names, no personal information, no strings. But when she returns to work after the weekend to discover he's her new client--- all those personal details they'd kept secret start to come out. And I loved every minute of it.
AJ was such a fantastic character. I love that he was both persistent and still respectful. He made it very clear what he wanted and didn't give up on Felicity... but he also wasn't pushy and respected the boundaries she set in place for them. And the way he was with Lyric!? Oh my goodness... he was the absolute sweetest and I loved each of their interactions! Yes, the romance was absolutely great, and I loved all those swoon-worthy moments, but I think it was definitely seeing that relationship form that took this one to the next level for me. If you're looking for a wonderful winter read, this is one not to be missed.

I loved the relationship that she and Liss had together. This book releases on Friday and you do NOT want to miss it!

When I tell you the first line had me immediately hooked, I’m not joking. I even highlighted the thing.
“There’s nothing like staring down the side of a snow-white mountain with two sticks strapped to your feet to make an indoorsy girl like me want to strangle the two best friends who got her here.”
I laughed. I almost cried. I got mad. I felt all of the things and I loved every second of Three Days To Forget. Immediately, and I mean IMMEDIATELY, I was obsessed with A.J. And then throw in how smart and wonderful Felicity is… sold. Not to mention every other character was beyond hilarious and good as well?! Aside from one but we don’t talk about him.

This book will have you falling out of your chair, laughing and swooning. Poor AJ just wants to focus his attention on winning Liss's heart while she's on a mission to rectify his image. How do you reform a "bad boy" who never existed outside of the twisted lies of media and mean girls? Hold on to your ski poles, this book has more trails, winds, and drop-offs than a Double-Black Diamond slope!

I couldn’t put this book down!!! Dulcie is a must read author for me and this book is one of my faves!!! Felicity is at a ski resort for a girl’s weekend when she meets A.J. There’s an instant connection, but she isn’t ready for dating. She agrees to spend time with him while she’s at the resort, but when she leaves, it’s over forever and they can’t look each other up. Imagine her and his surprise when he walks into her office as his new PR person that next week! I won’t tell you what happens, but you must grab this book!!!! Crushed it again, Dulcie!!! Thanks for letting me read this book!!!

Such a great story! Absolutely loved it. Fun to see the reverse age-gap, and the celebrity athlete, and single parent tropes too. This story is quick-burn. With only three days on her vacation to his parents’ ski resort, Liss (aka Felicity) and A.J. (Aka Alden) didn’t have time to waste in going slowly. Liss, a single mom workaholic who didn’t date after her husband left, and A.J. were instantly attracted to each other, but Liss put rules in place to prevent the relationship from continuing after her holiday. Fate smiled on A.J., a professional snowboarder with bad press from a vindictive ex-girlfriend, when his new PR manager turned out to be Liss. But working together presented new issues. The characters were so wonderful and fun. A.J. was fantastic and I especially loved Lyric, Felicity’s daughter, and her interactions with A.J. were so sweet. The romance and kisses were epic and swoony. Just a wonderful read. A.J.’s deep dive into strong feelings was so romantic. “I’d sign my entire career away before allowing Liss to walk out of my life tonight.” He was so all in. But also patient and respectful of Liss. “I have to go at the pace Liss sets. I started it in Tahoe, and I’ll keep following her lead until I’m walking her back down the aisle after she takes my last name.” It was quite a journey for both of them, but it was a lot of fun along the way. The epilogue is adorable and sweet. Made me so happy! I was so excited to see that there will be a book for Cash and Britta. This book definitely got me interested in their relationship so I will be waiting in anticipation! This is a closed door romance with mild innuendo and no harsh language.

AJ is pure perfection and his feelings for Liss made my heart melt. also can we just talk about how good he was with Lyric? i can’t. I loved how patient AJ was and getting to see Liss open up and let her guard down was so sweet

MUST READ WINTER ROMANCE!
To say I am obsessed with A.J. would be an understatement. He has to be one of the most lovable heroes I’ve read…ever. He pursues Liss with all he has yet gives her space when she needs it. Despite his past struggles, he remains an optimist and is the textbook definition of a Golden Retriever Hero…seriously he’s so loyal. If you look up the words “Golden Retriever” or “Cinnamon Roll” in a romance reader’s dictionary you will see a picture of this character paired with the definition. And how he is with her daughter…I melted right on the spot several times. I loved how Lyric was such an important component in this story and became just as important as Liss to AJ.
And Felicity “Liss” or Bliss has been through some serious difficulties and is believably cautious when it comes to relationships—including her friendships. She carries the burden of her past hurts on her own, keeping secrets to protect those she loves most despite the fact that those hurts threaten to bury her with their magnitude. Every decision she made was chosen in her belief that she was putting her child first—and I give her so much credit for that. Even when there were points that I wanted her to give in to what SHE wanted, when she chose the opposite, I understood and respected her more for it.
Guys. This book gives ALL THE FEELS. It’s a minty romance with an emphasis on the mint, especially at the beginning, but I loved how their relationship unfolded over time. I said it before, and I’ll say it again, I am not typically a huge fan of “quick burn” romances, but this one was very much an exception to that rule. And me and romcoms don’t often mix because of my weirdly unique sense of humor, but I laughed out loud several times in the book.
I found myself smiling like a weirdo through most of it because it just gave me all of the sweet, cozy, happy vibes and even in the angsty bits I wanted to keep going and find out how these characters achieved their happily ever after.
Despite it not being officially a “Christian romance” I absolutely love the thread of faith Dulcie wove through the pages. It was just the extra cherry on top of a perfect and delectable ice cream sundae.

Just what I needed! Perfect winter vibes. I loved the ski slope section at the beginning, but I also really liked the shift in the second part of the story to Felicity's normal life and how Alden shows up unexpectedly. Every mum can relate to her sense of caution and protectiveness for her daughter, and her friends' encouragement to start making positive choices, to live again, was a great message. Alden's vulnerability was sweet and while he was perhaps more on the ideal side rather than real, it was still a beautiful love story about overcoming all the obstacles - with all the feels!

This was my first Dulcie Dameron book and it definitely will not be my last! A super cute contemporary read was just what I needed to kick off this new season of reading! Some tropes that are included in Three Days to Forget are sizzling tension, a reverse age gap, and single mom!
Three Days to Forget is centered around single mom Liss and snowboarding gold medalist, Alden (a.k.a A.J.). What was supposed to be a weekend girls trip turns into so much more then Liss intended for it to. Hanging out with the cute guy from the ski-lift? Why not? What harm could that cause?
No harm, just someone to melt the ice around her heart and to break down her shields. Someone to bring romance back into her life, like she reads about in her books. But things don't come easily for this couple. The trials they face throughout the book, show them, or more Liss than Alden, just how much they care for each other and that its okay to open up your heart to someone new! To trust again.
I'm not going to lie, it did take me a second to get into the book. The way the FMC fights the feelings/attraction for our MMC, tortured me, I just wanted her to give in without a fight. 😅 Which her reasonings for that are totally understandable! Just not something that I'm used to reading in the books that I normally read.

Three Days to Forget is centered around single mom Liss and snowboarding gold medalist, Alden (a.k.a A.J.). What was supposed to be a weekend girls trip turns into so much more then Liss intended for it to. Hanging out with the cute guy from the ski-lift? Why not? What harm could that cause?
No harm, just someone to melt the ice around her heart and to break down her shields. Someone to bring romance back into her life, like she reads about in her books. But things don't come easily for this couple. The trials they face throughout the book, show them, or more Liss than Alden, just how much they care for each other and that its okay to open up your heart to someone new! To trust again.
I'm not going to lie, it did take me a second to get into the book. The way the FMC fights the feelings/attraction for our MMC, tortured me, I just wanted her to give in without a fight. 😅 Which her reasonings for that are totally understandable! Just not something that I'm used to reading in the books that I normally read.
But overall, I really loved this book and its characters so much! I was sad when it ended. But I can't wait for the next book in the series! 💜

This book surprised me in the best of ways!
Dulcie knows how to write compelling, romantic, and heartfelt stories.
Initially, I was a little nervous about the
reverse age gap (he’s 24, she’s 30) as it isn’t my favourite trope for personal reasons. BUT… AJ is mature and protective enough that it didn’t bother me that much and half the time I forgot he was younger unless it was mentioned because he was so steady. Plus, he was a sweetheart.
Liss was so fun! I adore her stubbornness and totally related to her “old & not fun” persona. She’s a single mum who values safety & routine over fun & spontaneity. Her daughter Lyric was adorable. She’s totally a kid, yet whip-smart; her interactions with AJ were the sweetest.
The strong friendship between Liss, Viv, & Britta and then AJ & Cash were just lovely. Those kind of bonds and “I’ll always have your back and yet will tell you the hard truth, too” interactions are some of my favourites.
There’s drama and then there’s DRAMA, haha. And boy was I stressin’ there for a bit. 😂 Cue all the forbidden love & workplace romance angst.
All in all, a sweet, wintery rom-com!

This was my first book that I have read by Dulcie Dameron, and I can honestly say that she has become an auto-buy author for me after this book!

I was excited to read this one because of the reverse age gap ( I am three years older than my husband). I feel like this isn’t a trope that is covered often, but I find that it is not uncommon to meet other women who are older than their husbands. So, reading a story that is well written and breaks the stereotype of dating a younger man, I loved! I also loved the chemistry between the main characters, Lyric (Felicity’s daughter), the humor, and so much more!
This book is filled with the perfect amount of sizzle, but with no spice.

I absolutely adored this book! From the first few pages I was completely captivated by the story, and I thought about Felicity and A. J. whenever I had to put the book down. It’s so good!!
The romantic tension in this book is perfectly written, and I loved the characters so much! I wanted to shake Felicity sometimes and make her see how perfect she and A. J. were for each other, but I also wanted to hug her and be her friend. I feel for her, and the walls she has up are completely understandable. She’s such a well-written character, and I loved her. And A. J. is such a wonderful hero! I loved how he knew what he wanted and pursued it. He’s one of my new favorite MMCs, and I was glued to the page to see how his relationship with Felicity would work out throughout the story. The way he was with Felicity and Lyric made me feel so happy to see!
This book made me laugh and swoon, and I am obsessed with it right now. It’s definitely a favorite for me, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

This is the perfect winter read that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy!
At the beginning of the book we meet Fliss who is heading off for a girls' weekend away at a ski resort with her two besties. Fliss doesn't take too well to the skiing and in her bid to escape the slopes, she bumps into the handsome and slightly younger A.J. at the ski lift. Enter her meddling friends, and the two of them have a wonderful three days together, after promising not to ask too many questions about the other and then she returns to normal life back home with her 8 year old daughter, Lyric, leaving A.J. behind at the ski slopes. Neither of them could predict what was to happen next...
I loved this book! It's an eventful rollercoaster of emotions, and certainly gave me all the feels. I loved the nod to faith in the book too. There's definitely potential for a second book featuring two of the other characters!! I do hope so!!

Absolutely delightful. The chemistry and tension between these Bliss and AJ was amazing. Dulcie Dameron did an excellent job of writing a story with real depth and emotion from every character. The way that AJ takes care of, shows up for, and loves Bliss and Lyric is beautiful to read. And that last 100 pages?? The gasp I GASPED. I was clutching my pearls and turning pages as fast as I could. The epilogue? Exactly what every epilogue should be. Wrapped up the characters so well and just made me fall in love with this family even more. I will read anything this author publishes and can’t wait for Britta and Cash’s story!!

I’m still reading this book so I’ll be updating my review on here as I go along — because I think that’s fun, lol.
I am loving this book so much, its 5 stars ⭐️ and already know it’ll stay that way by the end. Dulcie never disappoints with her books.
I can’t count how many times I’ve smiled while reading this one, at the moment, I’m only able to read at night so I fall asleep while reading it almost every night cause I can’t put it down 🤣
The characters and writing are so well done, the banter, the realistic dialogue 🤌 I can’t wait to see how this plays out ♥️😍
You don’t see many romances with the guy being younger than the girl and as someone who’s married to a guy a few years younger than me, I really appreciate this more lol.

In short-This was phenomenally done. There were many times I smiled, teared up, had my heart racing to see what happened next, and swooning.
I really loved the writing and the characters were just so well done, they felt like real people and I was just the viewer “watching” as their lives played out. The dialogue and banter were what really brought this book to life for me, it was just realistic and it’s been awhile since I’ve seen that in a RomCom book.
Again, I appreciated the fact this was a romance where the man is younger. And did I say he is the perfect dream man? The things he does for her had me melting on the spot. He was fiercely loyal, mature and just as sweet as could be.
All of the characters (side characters especially) never fell flat or felt like they were just there for the sake of being there, they all were important, not dull or boring to read.
Besides Dulcie’s “Not Since You” book, this is my ultimate favorite from her and I can see myself making it a tradition to read this book every winter. It was just an all around enjoyable read that I won’t forget anytime soon. ♥️

Oh. My. Gosh! A.J. is the most PERFECT MAN! Where is he?!?! 🤣 I loved him from the get go. Because of the situation their relationship progressed so quick that you look at how much is left in the book and just go, “ah, crap” 😂 You know someone’s going to be stubborn! Haha, it was a great ride! Some of Felicity’s hangups I could understand, others I wanted to shake her…just a little. 😉 It was a fun one though!

This is my first christian-author romance read and I am pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this style of reading! I flew through this book and I’d definitely read more by Dulcie. Liss’ personality is very relatable, A.J.’s integrity never wavered, and the subtle hints toward Gods love for his children made me smile. 4.5 ⭐️

This is the first book that I have read in a while. I don’t like the way normal romance books make me feel after I have read them! This was not that case for this book! This romance kept my attention the whole time without the spice!! I can’t wait to read more from this author!!
