Born as a beta, I grew up on the scraps left behind by Delilah, my older sister, who was always treated like a queen in our home. Despite the adoration my omega sister received from everyone, I was okay with the life of a hardworking beta. Posing and preening in beautiful gowns wasn’t my thing anyway. Mastering taekwondo and getting my hacking algorithms to work were the greatest priorities of my life. Everything changes the day mercenaries from the notorious Solveig Pack charge into our home, claiming my parents cheated them. My parents took a huge loan from the Solveig alphas. Their contract says they’d have to hand over Delilah to them if they failed to pay back their debt. My parents abandoned me when they fled with their precious omega daughter. I’m captured instead and brought to the pack’s den. Things take a worse turn when I realize the effects the Solveig alphas are having on me. Turns out the “vitamin” pills my mother was feeding me were suppressants. I’m an omega and in pre-awakening!
I can’t let them know of my secret. There’s no way I’ll ever be an omega to the alphas who destroyed my family. I’ll fight my raging omega instincts until I can find an escape. They’re wrong if they think they can own me. I’m not the meek beta they assume me to be. I’ll never surrender to them because they’re knot my pack.
The Solveig Pack series takes place in an omegaverse universe with no shifters. There’s a male omega in this pack, so expect hot steamy mm action as well! This entire series contains MM, frequent cursing, and growling, possessive alphas. Books in the complete 1) Knot my pack 2) Knot my alphas 3) Knot my mate
This book was fantastic. A woman who was hidden from even herself, a family doing their best to protect her, another family taking charge to punish her for actions not her own, a love that blooms out of fear and sadness, two omegas who would k1ll and d13 for one another, alphas who latch onto their saving grace with everything they have... It was brutal and beautiful and I loved it.
The story it's self wasn't that bad, but you could tell a non American wrote it. It's set in the US but the writer seems to think all Americans eat pancakes and pbjs everyday. Also that Jersey City and Chicago are within easy driving distance and not several states apart. More inconsistencies are in the book. I finished it but that was only because I don't like to dnf books. Maybe choose a different book if things like that bother you.
At first it's a little irritating when the Omega sister is obviously the preferred daughter but the MC just plays off her crappy upbringing as normal because she is a beta. I know we don't read these books for the betas usually but to assume it's okay to be neglected her whole life because of her designation doesn't say much for the majority of the population (which is beta.) The FMC is also extremely niaeve and easily manipulated.
But once the characters get together (which is pretty quickly) the action starts and the story gets better. I like how each of the MC had their o
I loved this book and enjoyed reading a story with a strong, determined and loving female lead character. Congratulations to the author on a well written, compelling story.
It's always fun to read of big fierce alphas who become so protective and sweet with their Omega. The characters are so fun and loving as military packs and families come together for a couple of common causes. Looking for more of Alice's books.
This book was so good I couldn't put it down. What a beautiful story And what an amazing heroine She saved the day I love those kind of books where the woman is strong
I really enjoyed this series. It is a series that is exciting, sometimes dark but full of love. The books are well written and follow each other well. Highly recommended if you like omegaverse.
