FAVORITE QUOTE:

That's how this works Blue.
And I'm done letting other people manipulate our lives to keep

End of story. ”- Lincoln

GUILTY AS SIN: Is the second book in Meghan March’s ‘Sin’ trilogy. It picks up right where ‘Richer than Sin’ ended off. Spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives’ Flits back to 'Past & Present' effortlessly.

With how things left off in Richer than Sin I was super eager to get my hands on ‘Guilty as Sin’ one of my most highly anticipated reads for September. And Meghan March did not disappoint with this book, which cemented her as one of my most favourite authors, you can not fault her, each book, each series, just gets better and better, each and every one is completely unique, and she delivers each and every time..

We were destined to go down in flames
Because every sin begets a sin.
Maybe someday I'll forget your name,
But until then...I never want to see you again.

We followed Whitney and Lincoln’s rocky journey in ‘Richer than Sin’ with their forbidden relationship and the sins of the past that always kept coming back to haunt them and all the drama that came with that. A Gable and a Riscoff could never be together. Fate would never let it happen. But in this we're given so much more, more background information that was missing in the first book, now it all starts taking shape in this, more angst, more drama, more threats, more suspense, more secrets. What happened a decade ago between Lincoln and me colours every moment of our present.

Just when you think things are all coming together as they should do and your lulled into a false sense of security the author pulls the rug out from under your feet and your left dangling over another cliffy, so yet again the the Queen of Cliffys strikes again!! The ending is a whole new game changer, things are about to get turned upside down, inside out, and I can't wait to see what happens in the very last installment of this.

No woman has ever affected me like Whitney Gable. Not before. Not since.

The Sin trilogy continues with another edge-of-you-seat, twisty, read-in-one-sitting installment. Picking up immediately where book one left one, Guilty As Sin continues to deliver twist after twist in the story of the Gables and Riscoffs. We get the flashbacks to the past that bring us closer and closer to having answers. Yet in usual Meghan March fashion, for every answer we get, we're left with hundreds of questions.
What was broken tonight could never be repaired. A Gable and a Riscoff could never be together. Fate would never let it happen.

Lincoln is determined to right the wrongs of their past and he's not afraid to fight for what he wants, even if it's Whitney herself. Twice bitten, once shy, Whitney isn't too eager to put her heart on the line again when the odds are stacked against them and Lincoln's old habits resurface.

There's a great deal of tragedy laden history between these families. And little by little, more details begin to surface in order to put some puzzle pieces together. The book ends with another explosive cliff hanger that leaves you salivating for the conclusion and I for one cannot wait to see how it all ends.

“Eventually you’re going to realize that there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you’.

Guilty As Sin was the continuation we were all waiting for! It had more background to the characters, more drama and was hella sexy!! We needed more answers in this one and even though we got it, we were certainly left with more questions that made us question everything more.

Picking up right where richer than sin left off, Lincoln and Whitney are now at a crossroad in their relationship. How will they be able to move on now that a bomb has been dropped on their relationship and not only does it affect them, but their entire family. At this point, nothing will ever be the same and it’s going to take a long time for everything to go back to normal.

With family members at each other’s throats, paparazzi invading their space, and secrets that were long in the making before they even knew about it, Lincoln and Whitney have to fight if they want to keep what they have. With a passion and love like theirs, you would think that it shouldn’t be a problem but unfortunately, outside forces will make it much harder. Can these two withstand the pressure?

“You gonna keep letting other people decide how your life goes? Or are you going to figure out what it is that you want?”

As I’ve said before, we certainly got a lot more background in this one and I loved that. I needed to know what happened all those years ago and even though some light was shed on it, there is still more to cover. I also loved the fact that Whitney was a bit stronger in this one and she had more of a voice. I still wished that some certain characters would just get lost at sea, but for now they’re entertainment.

If you’re looking for a sexy, secretive series that will keep you on your toes, then this one is most definitely for you.

“I made a mistake this morning, and I need to fix it.”
“Does this mistake have to do with Whitney Gable again?”

This in another nonstop action and full of angst book. Still it has two points of view by Lincoln and Whitney and still it takes place in two time periods i.e. nowadays and 10 years ago like the first boom in the trilogy. I have to say that this time the flashbacks make more sense because the information that provide about the past events that have shaped the present events is definitely more vital.

So, we learn more about:
-the past mistakes of Lincoln
-the stupid decisions of Whitney
-the accident of their parents
-the hatred of Lincoln’s mother

Lincoln’s mother is the protagonist of this book. She is at the same time a bitch and a victim. After living an untouchable and classy life; now she has to face the consequences of the loveless marriage she had.
Naturally this time the cliff-hanger in the end of the book reflects her decisions and her well hidden vulnerability.

Lincoln and Whitney together are perfect as long as they are left alone to be in love and happy. Unfortunately they are never left alone. Families, paparazzi and so many secrets and past mistakes interfere with their happiness.

Is Whitney going to run away again?

The man is impossible. I look up at the ceiling, find my confidence, and stare him down again. “I can’t stay here and drive a wedge between you and your mother. I won’t.”
Lincoln’s hard expression doesn’t shift. “And I’m done letting other people manipulate our lives to keep us apart. I’m fucking done. You leave, I leave. End of story.”
“I’m not worth it.” My voice breaks on the last word.

OveraI, this is a very good book and it surely does not matter that it is the middle book of a trilogy. It has substance and a meaty storyline.

Guilty as Sin is the second installment in Meghan March's Sin trilogy. Picking up where the first one left us we're thrown back into the crazy world of drama and secrets in the town of Gable.

I have to say that I actually enjoyed this book a lot more than I did the first. Not that I didn't like the beginning but I felt like in this book we got to learn a lot more about Lincoln and Whitney and I felt a deeper connection tot hem. There were also less times that the book changed back to the past, which was one of my major reasons for struggling a bit with the first book.

For me this book was definitely more about getting to know the characters and less about their twisted tale of secrets, which was actually a good thing for me. There are still a ton of questions we're left with though so I can't wait to get the conclusion and see how this story is going to tie together.

Guilty as Sin is the second installment in the Sin trilogy. It starts with the aftermath of the revelation at the end of Richer Than Sin. I couldn’t wait to start this book and I devoured it. I’m loving Lincoln and Whitney’s love story. It isn’t not an easy journey, but I’m so sure that the HEA will all be worth it. There is mystery, drama, passion, beautiful moments and sexy times. I can’t wait for the next part!

Whitney and Lincoln are amazing characters! I got to know them a little better in this book, just like the characters gets to each other better. Whitney and Lincoln don’t trust each other completely at the beginning, but I understood that. Also, the love between them and their desire to be together is bigger. I love them together! Their relationship keeps growing.

I love the way he loves her!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙💚❤️💜
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 🤓😉☺️😍
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The Hero: Lincoln Riscoff - He is heir to his family’s billion-dollar conglomerate. Though he just got some news that could change his life. He has been in love with Whitney Gable for more than 10 years. Though he lost her when she married someone else. His family and her family have had an ongoing feud for 170 years and nobody in his family wants him to have anything to do with Whitney now that she has returned.

The heroine: Whitney Gable - She was in love with Lincoln ten years ago, but everyone in both their families did everything to push them apart. So, she married her cheating ex-boyfriend, Randy Rango. He was a rockstar who needed her because she was the one that wrote all of his songs and he wanted to keep that secret. When she wanted credit for what she had done, he told his fans that she was out to destroy him and then he overdosed and died. Now he is a rock god and people think she is the devil.

The Story: Now that Whitney is back home in Gable, Lincoln is determined not to let her get away again, though it seems everyone is out to get them and keep them apart just like before. Another secret from the past comes out which blew up their relationship even more ten years ago. This book has more than a few surprises, twists and turns.

I was hoping the flashbacks to the past would be over with the end of the first book, but they continued through this one as well. Hopefully they are finished as of this book, since I don’t know what else could have happened in the past that could possibly come out in the next book. I am really liking the characters in this series though. I especially like Lincoln and the way that he loves Whitney, he keeps fighting for her despite all that has happened between them.

Like the first book in this series, this was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Joe Arden and Erin Mallon. They are two of my favorite narrators and always do an amazing job. This one is no different. I love Joe’s voice and Erin does sarcasm so well.

Lincoln and Whitney’s story continues in Guilty as Sin. We get more of their background as to why they didn’t end up together. The family feud still feeds the fire as it did in the past. But getting the whys proves to fuel the story. The secrets and lies expose how Lincoln and Whitney’s future was altered. The first book ended in a delicious cliffhanger and of course this book delivered an even better cliffhanger. (I will say that I did a little Yay cause she deserved it)

I’m waiting patently for the last book in the trilogy. Lincoln and Whitney have an intense and passionate love. They just need to be true to themselves and not worry about the crazy family feud that threatens their happiness.

I’m truly split down the middle on this one. I liked so much about the book and Meghan’s storylines are top notch.

However, depending on which part of the book I’m reading, my mood swings greatly. There are definitely a few things that I really enjoyed about the story, but a couple that I didn’t quite connect with.

Here’s what I loved:
Lincoln and Whitney’s second chance at romance is great. This is one of my favorite tropes, so definitely right down my alley.
I adore Whitney’s relationship with her Aunt and Cousin Cricket. The small town, thick as thieves, vibe is strong with these women. They’re all strong and independent. Regardless of what life throws their way, they stick together.
Commodore, Lincoln’s grand-father, and Whitney’s uncle were definitely bright spots. I absolutely adore the scenes feature these two over the top characters.
The story is well written, angsty, and sexy in places, but for me it’s lacking the signature over the top, jab you in the gut feeling that I’m so used to getting from a Meghan March alpha-male. I think it’s a symptom of my expectations. Whenever I read one of her books, I always come away breathless, however that hasn’t happened for me here. So while I liked it, there’s so much going on. The intricate plot coupled with the time jumps threw me off my game. Not to mention, I truly want to throat one of the characters. Karma is truly a bitch.

So, with that said, I liked not loved it. I’d recommend this series to fans of romantic suspense and series.

Guilty As Sin By Meghan March
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
NARRATION: Dual POV
BOOK DETAILS: Book #2 Sin Trilogy
AUDIO AVAILABLE? Yes
PUBLICATION DATE: 18th September 2018

THE STORY:
Blurb: A Gable and a Riscoff can never be together... but we burned like a wildfire.
It all started with a shot of tequila and a promise not to give our names.
It ended with a wedding objection... until now. I want my second chance.
I’ll never be done with her.

What was broken tonight could never be repaired. A Gable and a Riscoff could never be together. Fate would never let it happen.

This is the second book in Meghan March’s ‘Sin’ trilogy and must be read in order.

THE GOOD
This is my favourite series to date of Meghan’s I just cannot get enough of Whitney and Lincoln’s story. Again the plot was thick with delicious drama and the push and pull between Lincoln and Whitney was kicked in to high drive. The chemistry was stronger than ever and the plot switches course a little with a dramatic ending that leaves you frantically checking the book for more pages.

Schon wieder fieser Cliffhangeralarm! Band drei erscheint am 28.08.2020 bei LYX.

I feel like the author is dragging the plot. Just like the first book, it also ends up with an amazing cliffhanger. But this was it. The only exciting thing that happened throughout the whole book.

Nothing is solved. There are many fillers, too much misunderstanding to the point I am exhausted. 🙄

Oh Hell! Now that I have devoured book two, where the heck is the conclusion??? I need it ASAP!!! Guilty As Sin still hasn’t come close to satisfy my craving for this delicious trilogy. Although, I find the story development in this second book a little bit slower than the first, it is not any less crazy with all the surprise twists in the plot. Without given away any spoilers you will find a lot more information on both Whitney and Lincoln’s family history and the circumstances aren’t pretty. Troubles continue to haunt Whitney and once again she is ready to bail but this time Lincoln is determined to lock her down. That man is strong-minded and patience; he isn’t going to let Whitney slips through his fingers the second time no matter what costs. More drama – check. Angst – check. Surprises and suspense – check, check. Holy Hell! The ending of this book got me picking my jaw up from the floor… Are these two ever going catch a break and have a more than deserved HEA? Find out the conclusion in the final book Reveling in Sin. I have a feeling there will be more hurdles and drama, but no doubt it’s going to be EPIC!!!

2.5 - Rounding up to a 3 because I've read a lot of really great books recently so this one was at even more of a disadvantage by comparison

This is a tough review for me because I tend to like Meghan March books quite a bit. This one just felt like more llama drama than the first in the series. Basically, if you really dig soap opera story lines then this just might be the book you've been waiting your whole life to read.

By the end of this one my interest in the couple has wanned a bit. I had to push myself through and the "I love you you but I can't be with you" was more irritating to me this time around.

If I read the third book it will be because I still want to know why the cousin Karma is such a bitch. I have a theory that and I want to know if I'm right.

GAH! Meghan March is such a gifted storyteller that she can tell any kind of story. Holy crap I am obsessed with this series. It is sexy, intense, nerve-wracking and so shocking. Half the time I sit there with my mouth open wondering what other bomb she can drop on us!! I seriously love Whitney and Lincoln so so much and seriously can't wait for more!!

Without giving anything away, after that crazy cliffhanger at the end of book one, we now see Whitney and Lincoln dealing with the repercussions and fallout. But just when you think you see the smoke clearing and our favorite star crossed lovebirds have the green flag to walk off into the sunset - NOPE! Pure fireworks, folks! Take cover because it's a bumpy ride and there are more bombs dropping on our (and their) heads! I seriously loved this so much and can't wait for more!! Bravo! 5 Stars! ~Ratula

****

Dear lord, Guilty As Sin picks up right where that crazy cliffhanger in Richer Than Sin left us hanging, grips you by the throat, and doesn’t let go again until the last page. And that’s only to let you catch a breath while the last round of fireworks are going off!

Seriously, I love this sexy, fun second-chance romance between Whitney and Lincoln. That they’re trying so damn hard to reconnect even with all the craziness that’s going on around them. There are so many situations they’re trying to get a handle on—it’s wild. It’s crazy. It’s nearly impossible to predict what’s going to happen next!

Be sure to strap in, this wild ride isn’t over! I can’t wait to see what happens next! ~ Missy, 4 stars

This is the second story in the Sin series and IMO, not a lot happened. Meaning there's not a lot of forward movement. I felt that Lincoln and Whitney were stuck and Whitney was still trying to figure things out. Luckily, Lincoln knew exactly what he wanted.

I think the issue was there is a lot of the story telling in the past since there are events that are relatable to the present. In some instances, it felt the characters didn't learn anything in ten years and in others, there was pertinent information. I'm still dying to know more about Karma!

Even with the issues I had, I still enjoyed Lincoln and Whitney. Things are complicated and that ending made things even more so. Thank goodness we only have to wait until October 23, 2018 for the last book, Reveling in Sin.

Okay, here we go! This book starts out right where we left off in Richer Than Sin. I was totally sucked into this new Meghan March world where two very different families co-exist in the town of Gable, and do not exactly live in perfect harmony. This book is told in dual points of view in past and present and flows well. It takes us back for more understanding, but also propels the story forward. It gives us answers, but also more questions and surprises. Lincoln and Whitney have such a strong connection and attraction, but also so much negative history and so many external forces against them.

Whitney Gable is a runner. But no matter how much she tries to avoid her problems, they seem to find her. She seems to constantly be under scrutiny and the threat of scandal. It has been easy to fall in with all of the negativity and pain. But enough is enough and she is beginning to realize that she has to start looking for the positive, let go of the past, and to stand up for herself in order to dictate her own future.

Lincoln Riscoff has made mistakes mostly due to his own trust issues. But when he cannot really even trust his own family, it is understandable. His quick judgment has had consequences, and he is aware he also needs to find a way to make it up to her if he wants her in his life. But he is also dealing with some significant issues with his family and business.

But no matter what they want, it seems like fate is against them. People, circumstances, and their past seem to get in the way whenever they start to get a glimmer of hope.

There is so much going on in this trilogy as the past and present collide with many moving pieces and variables. It keeps you completely invested as the stories continue to unravel. But there is still plenty more to uncover. I really like Whitney and Lincoln individually and together. If they could just exist in a bubble protected from the disapproving and constantly changing outside world, they could be good together. Lincoln can be sweet, sexy, and swoony. And Whitney is caring and smart, but has been beat down by others. In their little glimpses of happiness, he makes her feel worthy. They both show more self awareness and character growth in this middle installment, but they are also surrounded by constant chaos and issues.

This brings the angst, drama, and frustration, along with the twists, surprises, and sweet and sexy moments. I really HATE some of the antagonists, while there are some other side characters I really like. I cannot wait to see what the final installment holds for all of them. There are still some unresolved situations, questions that need answers, and some more to deal with. I so want this couple to be able to navigate all the external drama in their lives and finally find true happiness. They have dealt with ten years of secrets, omissions, lies, misunderstandings, pain, and interference. They deserve it! But they still have a lot to overcome, and so many more chances for things to go wrong.

I'm liking this series. Pretty steamy with a good story and lots of twists. I also like the romantic chase of the mc's. Definitely reading 3rd. Another cliffhanger...Ugh!

Seriously??
Really??

*Moves paperwork over and (gently) presses head to the “Bang head here” sign on my desk and starts to laugh (to myself so my coworkers don’t hear)*

Yeah.

That’s where I’m at right now because things just went all kinds of cattywampus in the epic saga of Whitney and Lincoln. I mean sideways already happened in their crazy, so there really was no other option but it going cattywampus and all I can say about this is that I NEED Revel In Sin ASAP because not only do I STILL have a bunch of questions from the first book still not answered, I now have more so I really want to see how this all works out.

But here are a few things that I am absolutely sure of:

I love and adore Whitney and Lincoln. They drive me batshit crazy, but when you get rid of all the crazy, they are pretty awesome and really deserve to their HEA.

Cricket, Hunter, Jackie, McKinley and Gabi are AWESOME!

The patriarchs of the Gable and Riscoff families still fascinate me.

And the rest of them...well, I want to gut them all with a spoon, so I’m hoping they get theirs in the end…so now, we wait...patiently…

***4.5 Stars***

Because this is a continuation for the novel Richer Than Sin, I will not be going into any strong details or giving my typical in-depth portion in order to refrain from giving away spoilers.

Holy hell! Whitney and Lincoln attract drama where ever they go. I live for a drama infused novel and Meghan March definitely did not disappoint! I legit can't get enough of the sin trilogy. I need more!!!

Guilty As Sin is the second book in the Sin Trilogy. If you are a fan of the second chance/Forbidden/Enemies-to-lovers tropes then you should definitely be reading this trilogy!

I am still fairly new to the wonderful world of Meghan March but I have to say after the five books I’ve read, I’m officially a fan for life! When I finished Richer Than Sin, I immediately felt like crying! I’m not a very patient person and ending that novel on such a strong cliffhanger, literally broke my freaking spirit. I needed to know what was to come of Lincoln and Whitney! It was a life or death moment…..well not really….but it felt close to the same! Anyways, when Guilty As Sin showed up on my kindle, I legit put my life on hold and all other arcs were pushed to the side so I could dive into this one! Now I’m in the same boat… I need Reveling in Sin!

One of my favorite things about this trilogy is THE DRAMA!!! Ah, the drama is as real as it is intense. Its like a freaking soap opera mixed in with a little Romeo and Juliet! I can’t get enough!

Overall, I loved everything about Guilty As Sin...except the cliffhanger! The struggles are on point, Lincoln and Whitney’s chemistry is off the freaking charts, and the sexual tension is blazing! I loved the hell out of this one and I can’t wait for more!

REVIEW: 3+ STARS
"No woman has ever affected me like Whitney Gable. Not before. Not since."

After the bomb that was dropped on us at the end of Richer Than Sin, I was ready to go when this book came around. I was so excited to finally get some answers and some more action thrown at me. Excited was an understatement!! So, while I wasn't entirely disappointed with this book, I wasn't exactly blown away either. It wasn't bad, it just was a lot slower than the first with little to no information until the very end of the book.

I wish I could just ask what happened? I mean, there was the drive and the desire to fix this amazing love that had no end in sight, and I really did feel Lincoln striving for that. Their love was one that, despite the obstacles presented to them, was determined to charge forward. But Whitney turned weak and Lincoln kind of got soft on me for a bit. I just....I don't understand. This book stalled. It just felt like filler instead of forward progression. It was if there wasn't enough information presented in this book to necessitate a whole 'nother book. I almost wonder if this trilogy would have read better as a duet because of the amount of extra added to this one just wasn't necessary. There was a BOMB at the end, but it just didn't have the oomph that the first book did. Maybe it was me hoping for more, and I set my expectations too high.

I do know this time around I got tired of switching back and forth between the past and the present as much as we did, and that took away from the buildup of the actual storyline in present tense. The idea of back and forth is to give us some backstory while growing the current one, but it has to be done in such a way that it doesn't pull you out of the intensity as it grows in the current. I was completely committed to the intensity of Lincoln and Whitney's love, but each time we started to get somewhere in present tense, she would jump to past and that aggravated me a lot this time. Their love, the headiness and the sexiness of their love was pure and absolutely intoxicating, so I definitely wanted to continue on with their love story. I crave a heavy and sure love that has me pining for more. Whitney and Lincoln have that love. It's undeniable and it burns hot!

I do know that for some reason this time, Whitney felt a little more whiney to me and the self talk came across as very cheesy. She was also much more self conscious about everything. Everything. That was kind of grating for me since we originally had this broken but very headstrong woman in the first book that was so determined to move on. I don't understand why she reverted back to this meek woman that needs constant reassurance, because those mental discussions she was having were just not necessary. It felt like it was dragging some of the story down, and that's not normal for me to feel with Meghan's books. What others may have seen as growth for Whitney read as fluff for me and I hate admitting that. It lacked a lot of substance the go around. So much so that this book ultimately felt more like a filler book than an addition to a great love story that I started to see grow in the first one.

"Leave it to me to fall for the woman I could never buy."

Alas, here's where I struggle: there is a little bit of Whitney in all of us, and I know Meghan makes sure all her characters are relatable in some way. Her females generally have a talent that is undiscovered or under-appreciated and she allows for that growth. I love that. They have real insecurities that we can connect to and understand as our own. I appreciate that. As with her male characters, they are usually very determined and stubborn men that have a lot of money at their disposal to throw around and get what they want, including the love that they cannot deny in any capacity. Nothing stands in the way of their one true love, no matter the cost. I looove that fantasy. I'm certain that I struggled so much with this addition to their story because the characters felt like they stalled in this book. Meghan's such a good character writer, and I love her characters, so when this one showed a different side than what we started out with, it kind of threw me for a loop....like I was backpedaling a bit.

I don't want this to be a review that sounds completely negative, because it really isn't. After being all excited in my review of Richer Than Sin, I felt like I was in love with some new characters. Lincoln and Whitney have a love that transcends all adversaries, and it's clear that we are going to see them overcome some serious ish, so this is a series I definitely want to see through. I want the butterflies that Lincoln gives me. I want the realizations and the smiles that Whitney gives me. I love watching them grow and discover each other...watching them realize that the love for the other is truly the real deal, but also realizing the small (and big) actions of the other is the truth of the depth of their love, and how far they're willing to go to fight for them as well. I like their love. I really do.

Again, please don't think I'm saying it's a bad book, but it's definitely not at the pace and caliber of the first book. Richer Than Sin felt action packed, but this one was quite slow compared to it, so maybe that's why I was having a harder time with it. We got a hefty dose of sweet with a side of cheesy, with the action lacking until around 95%. I am invested in their story, so I will happily see it to the end. I am looking forward to the conclusion and to find out about that bomb dropped at the end of this book. Not that my feelings are hurt about what happened...haha! I have my own guesses as to how some things are going to come to light in Reveling In Sin, so now let's see if I'm correct or if Meghan changes things up again and throws another twist at me! I have high hopes for an unprecedented ending for Whitney and Lincoln's epic love story.

5 stars!
Pain. Regret. Loss.
What was broken tonight could never be repaired.
A Gable and a Riscoff could never be together. Fate would never let it happen.

*Guilty as Sin is book two in the Sin Trilogy and should be read after Richer Than Sin .

When the book opens, we finally get the truth of what happened ten years ago and it throws us for a loop. It’s emotional, intense, angsty, and completely addictive, and to be honest, I am kind of obsessed with this trilogy.

I really enjoy the way Guilty as Sin is written. Like with the first book, it switches back and forth from the past to the present. I think it was well developed and perfectly done as were the dual points of view. I was fully immersed in the story and couldn’t put it down. I needed to see what was going to happen and found myself flipping pages as fast as I could while still trying to savor every moment.

I love that we jump right back into the captivating and twisted world of Lincoln and Whitney. I really felt the emotion that poured from the pages as each truth is revealed. Lincoln and Whitney go through so much growth in this installment as they are faced with so many surprises. I was rooting for them and loved every moment they were together, including the painful ones.

Whitney is strong and I loved watching her stand up for herself. She has a voice and isn’t afraid to use it even when she aims it at Lincoln. She has been through some terrible things and as her past infiltrates what little safety she has, she knows she can’t ruin anyone else’s life. Her feelings are real but sometimes they don’t feel like enough to her and I understood why she pushed Lincoln away.

Even though they are at odds again, Lincoln isn’t going to let things go the way they did ten years ago. He had a lot to learn, especially from his mistakes in the past, and his determination to change spoke volumes. He really shows his sweet side and I loved that he was willing to do anything for Whitney. Even when the world was against them, Lincoln did not give up, and I fell a little harder for him.
"No more fucking goodbyes. You leave? I leave
. That's how this works Blue.”

“And I'm done letting other people manipulate our lives to keep
us apart. I'm fucking done. You leave, I leave. End of story. ”

I love the magnetism between Whitney and Lincoln. They share a passionate love that is beat down at every turn. It's forbidden but that doesn't stop the connection that consumes them. There is no way to eliminate their feelings and they are embedded in each others souls but the past still very much affects what they must face now and nothing is easy.
What happened a decade ago between Lincoln and me colors every moment of our present.

Even though there are many things revealed in this book, there are still several questions left unanswered. There are surprises around every corner, and each heart stopping twist exponentially complicates things leaving me desperate for more. It’s dramatic, angsty, emotional, and frustrating, but I need to see how things are going to unfold. The cliffhanger is shocking and I am dying to get my hands on the final book of the trilogy. Reveling in Sin is coming soon!
