Hello! Thank you for stopping by. The short story is I was born in Toronto, Canada. When I was 16, my family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and that is where I met my wife, Bev. We've been married for 43 years and share our home in Southwest Missouri with 4 dogs, 3 cats, 8 chickens, a herd of goats. We have 3 sons and 12 grandchildren that keep us hopping. I've been known to ride my motorcycle in nice weather, play golf in nice weather, and tend my garden in nice weather. In bad weather, I prefer to stay inside. :) Thanks to the support of you, our readers, I've been able to devote full time to my writing. Bev does our cover designs. We hope you our books are enjoyable and you'll let us know. Please feel free to contact us at: jdalglish7@gmail.com or on Facebook God Bless, John & Bev
Nothing to dislike, as always I can't put it down until the killer is arrested or planted in the ground. I always Pass Mr Dalglish's books to family and friends. My wife is a new writer she has only one book at this time and working on the second one.. Her book in ( Twice as much tomorrow ) by Patricia Schultz. Mr. Dalglish keep writing these great books for those of us who love to read. And thank you for keeping them CLEAN 😇 🇺🇸🙏
I really enjoyed reading John C. Dalglish's book Santa Fe Homicide. Homicide detective Maria Estrada thinks that a newly discovered murder- which was covered up with arson, may be linked to a cold case because of similarities. Cody Tanner of the Investigations Bureau of the New Mexico State Police has been assigned to work with her. Together they work diligently to find clues to piece together what may be the work of a serial killer. This book is well written and kept me turning the pages to follow the events of the case. Now I want to read other books in this series.
I have found a new favorite author! This book was amazing. The writing was so good, that I fought sleep to keep the pages turning. With Maria and Cody hunting a serial killer for these gruesome murders, I couldn't figure out who was doing this. Shocking ending will always get me to pick up more books from this author. It's early 2024, but I suspect this will be one of my favorite reads this year!
I really like this series. It's been awhile since the last one, but I do believe this is my favorite! Great characters and interesting story. A few editing issues, the one that made me stop and double check was when the wrong name was used in an interview. Hope more of The City Murders are in the future!!
I live in New Mexico and the descriptive accuracy of the places described were familiar. I particularly enjoyed the interactions of the characters and the surprise ending. In a culture of verbal and written pornography it is refreshing to be able to read an entertaining book without vulgar swearing that adds nothing to the story line.
The story was very good, the plot well done, the bad guy a surprise. However, though being a clean, non-profanity filled story, there is nothing Christian about it unless you count the mention of church in the last couple paragraphs. I bought it with the understanding it was a Christian book, so I was disappointed.
Very well written. I was guessing which suspect it was until I had my guy. Wrong! Great twists and turns. Clean, without realizing that it was. I've read the entire series. Starting the next series now. If John Dalglish is the author, I'm reading it. Please continue writing. Very highly recommended.
John did it again what a great book never expected the ending this book should be a.ten star book I highly recommend this book to everyone Dorothy Schaefer
Entertaining without all the graphic and vulgar language. Got his points across with great descriptions and kept me involved from start to finish! Looking forward to reading more of his books if they’re like this!
I have read all The City Murders books, and thoroughly each one. I plan to read additional books by Mr Dalglish, and he has always been my favorite author.
