Well dang, I didn’t see it ending on a bit of a cliffhanger!!

This author is new to me and let me just say how impressed I am. The writing alone is done so well. The plot, the timing are fabulous. The world she built is fascinating and created the perfect picture in my mind.

I love folklore, especially the Gaelic variety so this was right up my alley. Ronan is a gancanagh, a male fairy known for seducing women. Lily’s sister Chrissy is his most recent victim, she’s been be-spelled to want nothing but him. So, Lily sets out to demand he apologize, hoping that it’ll help her sister move forward.

What they both don’t realize is that they’ve met before. That Lily is the girl that Ronan had been pining for.

It’s a great little story that will make you laugh and swoon. I highly recommend.

Now when will I be getting the next book? You better not leave me hanging!

This is a supernatural fantasy romance set in modern day, though it has a first chapter set in the far past. There is a type of fae called 'Gancanagh' or 'love talker', male fae that are known for seducing women. Women who fall under a Gancanagh's spell go crazy, they become so in love they lose all common sense.

Lily is a young woman whose sister feels she's not girlish enough. Her sister, an actress, has fallen literally madly in love with Ronan O'Farrell, who turns out to be a Gancanagh (though Lily is of course not aware of this in the beginning). Lily takes on the task of going to Ronan to demand he apologize to her sister in hopes that will pull her out of her madness. She and Ronan make an interesting deal..

This book was very focused on the story and it was not just a reason for the characters to have sex. I liked the story and the premise, and even more because the Gancanagh are really a part of Irish lore. Lily was a fun and believable character. Ronan had an interesting setup and throughout the story things became harder for him. There was a good amount of tension between them. There are some very sexy scenes that are not directly sex but build up, and they're hot. The sex scenes themselves are hot too.

I should warn you that the book ends on somewhat of a cliff hanger and you won't have the satisfaction to see Lily and Ronan get together for a happily ever after (yet?). I guess I'll also have to read the next one! I absolutely loved the cover of the book. It was unlike other covers which is why I chose to read it and share my opinion. All in all I really liked this book and I think it's worth a read.

I don't read many fantasy romances but because this had the enemies to lovers Trope, I thought I would give it a go. Plus it is novella book so I think it’s great start to see if I like this genre or not. I really enjoyed the book, the story was really well written and it kept me entertained.

I know different things turn people on but when I requested this book I thought it was a paranormal romance and although the story was a really good one with an Inmortal man who can make women want him just with a jester or the sound of his voice and Lily who wants him to apologize to her sister for the “things“ he did to her in so they have a wager that if she can resist him for 24 hours he will apologize to Lillys sister if not for all the crude talk which I will not mention here the story really was a cute paranormal romance story I mean who doesn’t love story started with the Lord of chaos? It is just that words create images in some of the images created by the words in this book were not things I wanted to think about it’s too bad unlike songs they don’t have clean an explicit versions of stories because this would’ve been a really cute one. Having said that I am still giving it three stars because I still wanted to know how Lily persuaded the immortal guy Ronnen to fall for her. Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Wasn't quite sure what I was getting myself into when I choose this book as it had all my elements that I loved fae, Irish folklore, magic, enemy to lovers, paranormal, love, and fantasy could it be pulled off successfully, and the answer is a huge yes. I loved everything about it.

It is a novella and it gets you from page one and doesn't stop to the end. I couldn't put it down. What happens when mortal and fae intertwines in this world? I'm not telling and spoiling the surprises instore for you.

Be prepared to experience a lot of emotions as you feel for these character's. It's well written with character's successfully described she breathes life into them. You sense the myth, mystery and current so vividly written on the page.
I'm so happy that I have found this author and can't wait till the next book.

Touch by L. Mabini is a paranormal novella featuring Irish Folklore, enchanting suspense, and a cliffhanger that catches you off guard.

To start, the blurb and cover are amazing, giving you just enough to draw you in for a story that takes you to another world. I love the added folklore; it really ties the entire story together. The characters are amazing! Ronan, a male fairy, who has a knack for seducing women. Chrissy is his latest victim, so her sister Lily is out to teach him a lesson on messing with women.

I love this story, from cover to cover, it kept my attention.

Are you interested in a quick read that explores the myth of Irish sex fairies? Are you tired of typical romance story endings and want to see something different?

You've come to the right place.

Mabini delivers a novella that has good flow and paces the buildup of tension between the two characters nicely. The ending took me by surprise, and I appreciated it so much.
If you're in the mood for some romantic drama with just a touch of sweetness, look no further than Touch.
