‘I knew I could not be sure about anything anymore, but I wanted to believe he was the man I was going to grow older with, have a life with, regardless. Very little I knew, back then, that my will didn’t matter. I was part of something bigger, something written way before I was born as Daniel’ If some of the long awaited answers have come, more questions have risen. If their first adventure had thought them something, is that the journey has just begun. With the support of old and new friends, the main characters will put themselves at risk for a greater good, learning and growing through the many revelations collected long the way
Ross Joseph Kinnaird was born in the United States something like 1000 years ago. Moved to Italy when only an infant, he grew up in the deep south, shaped by the sun and the wildness of the sea. After moving to Ireland in 2010, he started to collect and collate the many stories he had written.
They all seemed to have one theme, one soul. With the Celtic magic brought to him by his new home, Ross had finally seen with the mistic eyes of the mind his novel taking shape. And so The Power of Love became the journey of a lifetime, perhaps many lifetimes.
In between reality and fantasy, he fused together the many way life presented to him. In a literary roller-coaster of emotions and feelings, pain, sorrow, happiness, friendship, love, Ross J. Kinnaird turns in writing the many stories we tell ourselves in our never-ending search for a greater meaning.
3.5/5 i want to start of by saying that this book is perfect for a book club, or to read with other people. And to discuss with each other.
I did enjoy the book, it does make me wonder if I should re-read book 1 and if I rated that wrong, or maybe my reading has just changed in the meantime.
I do think daniel is loving the victim blaming, I understand john completely with how he reacts towards daniel. And while this book is about love, there is cheating in it. I do not like that.
This book is also very philosophical, that's also why its so perfect for a book club. Your not really able to guess what happens next, like in most books. And even though this book is very deep, its still easy to understand. But it would have been amazing to go through theories and everything with someone else. There is a lot of things going on in this book. Traveling through different times, and different worlds. Magic, gods and all kinds of different creatures. Its also a different kind of fantasy then what I'm used to, but intriguing nonetheless.
with how the book ended I cant wait to see what happens in the next book.

- I was extremely glad to receive the ARC of this book! I had read the first book in the series and was looking forward to the second one. The story begins with a great quote: "If I had known how deep the pain would go, right inside my heart and my bones, would I have chosen this path anyway?" This quote really got to me, especially with how the first book was placed.
- Daniel, Noah and Anita soon realize that a darkness lurks around the corner, ready to strike. The trio embark on a yet another journey, which not only answers past questions, but raises new unanswered ones. They face new challenges and obstacle along the way. Their fight for the truth keeps them going. Every time they feel like they are closer, a new twist or turn springs up.
- The plot slowly reveals the hidden secrets, truths, and intentions. The plot is complex with rich world-building, and numerous characters and subplots. The world-building is equally as interesting as the first book. It brings forth the importance of emotions, decision-making skills, trust, and humanity in our lives. Love is truly powerful, able to overcome just about anything in this world.
- Overall, this is a great sequel in the series. The fantasy world provides a great reading experience. I would recommend this series to those looking for a well-written and explored fantasy plot.

A disease that not only affects the body but the thoughts and the soul.. We are all well aware of such a disease. It's rampant in the present times. This story of the soul, love, health, time and the creation is a fantasy take of different worlds but it caters to us, humans in the real world, I believe. We need to focus on our light, purifying our soul, filtering & controlling our thoughts, leaving hatred and encompassing love if we want to succeed else darkness will devour us and leave us in an eternal sense of defeat.

In this sequel, all three protagonists Daniel, Noah, and Anita encounter greater difficulties and peril. I had enjoyed reading about their inspiring journey in The Power of Love : The One and I was eager to read the continuation of it and conclusion in this second book.
As a reader, it was fascinating to see that now their journey is turning into a mission. They know who has been directing conspiracies against inhabitants of other worlds and who their opponent is. They realize that their job is far from over with the help of this fresh information.
The characters in the book must contend with death, get over numerous challenges, and watch while their enemy obliterates entire worlds. They are committed to carrying out their mission and defending the greater good despite the dangers. They run into both old and new acquaintances along the way who provide advice and support.
As Daniel, Noah, and Anita continue to decipher the puzzles and secrets of their quest, they also advance personally. Along the road, they gain important insights and gather revelations, which strengthen their resolve to finish their objective.
With a quick pacing, action-packed plot, this narrative held my attention easily and I was invested in the characters and their progression. Title : The Power of Love: The Two Author : Ross J. Kinnaird
Ross J. Kinnaird's The Power of Love: The Two is a breath-taking continuation of the epic voyage that was started in the first volume, The One. The intricate universe of Daniel, Noah, and Anita is further explored in this volume as the three characters battle even more difficulties, riddles, and perils as they try to learn the truth about their travels.
The writing of Kinnaird is just as engrossing and immersive as it was in the first book, keeping readers interested from start to finish. It is simple to get invested in Daniel, Noah, and Anita's development as people because their characters are always changing and becoming more sympathetic.
The plot moves along quickly, with action-packed scenes that heighten the suspense. This volume's fantasy components are more overt, providing a vivid and imaginative setting for the unfolding events.
I love Anita, Anita is among my favorite characters in this novel. She is an interesting figure to follow due to her tenacity and resilience. She is a notable character due to the multiple obstacles she faces and the personal development she experiences.
I heartily endorse The Power of Love: The Two to readers who adored the first book in the series as well as to everyone who appreciates a skillfully created fusion of fantasy, romance, adventure, and mystery. Readers will be eagerly expecting the next episode as Ross J. Kinnaird continues to offer a compelling story. The strength of love and friendship in the face of extreme conditions is demonstrated in this series.
Power of Love: The Two follows the trajectory of Anita, Daniel, and Noah while they were navigating amidst the maze of visions, formidable adversary, and grappling with their new-found powers. What struck me as a significant development in the 2nd installment is their personality development as they matured into powerful and responsible individuals who became more strategically focused to take on their enemies.
Daniel’s internal dilemma is a clear indication of the metamorphosis that they have undergone after their experience in Runae where they became richer in terms of knowledge, new discoveries, and power. I loved how the author had balanced the internal conflicts between the mind and body of the characters wherein they ploughed on despite their inhibitions and insecurities.
“But you're here... There is magic here too, isn't there?” - John “That question hit me like a sudden awakening, a slap in the face. I was drawn into a mystical realm of beings I had never truly felt I belonged to. It was the first time I realized that I wasn't just a victim of events” - Anita
I would also commend the author for handling Anita’s character with a respectful sensitivity as well as with finesse. Anita was battling her own demons, coming in terms with what she experienced in Runae versus the reality of the real world. Anita’s awakening into the reality of magic was a beautiful moment to read as it the character faced a catharsis.
The 2nd part of the series did justice to the 1st book continuing the nail-biting action sequences and the development in terms of heart. Daniel, Noah and Anita are carrying the ship well and I hope to come across more installments in the series.
The Power Of Love - The Two by Ross J Kinnaird is a thrilling sequel in the fantasy series. The book delves into the continuation of the first part and takes readers on a promising expedition of uncovering the theme of Love, Mystery and Suspense. Daniel, Anita and Noah hold the grip of the plot once again and dive into the world of Love and war. The best thing about this book is that it begins right from where it was left in the first part. The character of John adds a touch of interest and belongingness to the story.
Moving further with the Plot, Daniel and his friends enter the Thrilling realm of suspicion where they fulfill their motives and accomplish their missions but are soon left with a new adventure arising that gives birth to the third part of the book. Throughout the book, Daniel and Anita's characters are highly relatable and play an important role in the gripping narration. Kinnaird's writing style is highly Realistic and captivating that keeps you on the edge of your seats till the end.
In a nutshell, The power of love : The two is an adventurous tale of Mystery and Fantasy that transports readers on a journey filled with lots of twists and turns. The book is long but fast paced which makes this an intriguing read! The imagination of the author is quite commendable and the way he has doubled the amount of depth in the sequel is truly outstanding. I am eagerly looking forward to the third part of the series. Hence, I will surely recommend this fantasy fiction book to all the readers who are willing to delve deeper into the world of Love, Emotions, Suspense and Thrill. It's a Must read series!
The sequel, "Power of Love: The Two," continues the gripping journey of Daniel, Noah, and Anita, introducing even greater challenges and dangers. Having previously enjoyed their adventures in "The Power of Love: The One," I was eagerly awaiting this continuation and conclusion.
What struck me as a reader is how their personal journey has transformed into a mission of significant importance. Armed with newfound knowledge about their adversary, they understand that their task is far from complete.
As Daniel, Noah, and Anita strive to unravel the mysteries and secrets of their quest, they also undergo personal growth and development. The insights and revelations they gather along the way serve to fortify their determination to accomplish their mission.
The story's quick pace and action-packed plot held my attention effortlessly. I became deeply invested in the characters and their evolution. Additionally, the inclusion of themes such as friendship, love, and sacrifice added emotional depth to the narrative, enriching the reading experience.
In summary, "Power of Love: The Two" is a thrilling sequel that lives up to the standards set by the original adventure. It is a tale of courage, perseverance, and personal transformation in the face of daunting challenges. New readers will be captivated by the compelling plot, while those familiar with the first book will eagerly join the characters on their continued journey.
Beta reader once more (like I was for The One). Everything I said about The One, stands. This is a very well written fantasy romance that brings together literary fiction, adventure, romance and mystery. Once again Daniel, Noah and Anita are the main characters in this novel but even if they were beautifully written in Volume One, they now feel even more real, more relatable. Ps. I stand and will stand always with Anita!!!
The rythm of this Volume is much faster. The story turns to the main plot in full but still there is so much going on that I don't know who to stand with.
I'd say this Volume is way more fantasy than the previous one, but I'd say that was expected considering the story. It's a long book this one as well but it goes faster than Volume one.
The only criticism I shared with the author (as a beta reader) is about the revelation of the biggest mystery. I did not have enough time to digest it (and so was Noah) before the big final fight against the enemy. It's true that my copy doesn't contain the epilogue (final chapter) and the author has this fascinating habit (like a mystery book) of telling what happened behind the curtains in the epilogue.
I'm definitely going to beta read the final volume as well. I MUST TO KNOW!!
Let love, friendship, and magic take you by surprise. As Daniel becomes enmeshed in the agonising decision between John and Noah, follow along with him. Be Anita's support system as she struggles to find her own identity and strength so that she can fight for what's right.
The book delves into the continuation of the first part, leading readers on a promising journey to discover the theme of Love, Mystery, and Suspense. Daniel, Anita, and Noah seize control of the plot once more, delving into the world of love and war.
If there is one thing their first adventure taught them, it's that the journey is far from over. Each every character plays a great role in this part. This section adds more of John's characters, which will keep you entertained the entire time.
Daniel's inner conflict is an obvious sign of the transformation they've gone through since their time in Runae, where they gained power, knowledge, and new discoveries. The way the author portrayed the characters' internal struggles was commendable and the whole plot will kept running in your imaginations.
Fans of epic fantasy and romance should not miss this book because of its masterfully created world, nuanced characters, and a story that strikes a balance between romance, action, and suspense.
I just finished The One and started The Two – and while reading I realized something I haven’t really seen mentioned anywhere yet: this series seems to be deeply rooted in Greek mythology. • Eros isn’t just “love” in a vague sense – he’s literally the primordial god of love in Greek myth. • Soul clearly echoes Psyche, the personification of the soul, known from the myth of Eros & Psyche. • Storgén feels directly linked to storgē, one of the Greek words for love (familial affection). • Time is basically Chronos, the personification of time. • Iris is the goddess of the rainbow, a messenger between worlds. • Even the idea of Prometheus as the last guardian of humankind after destruction resonates with old mythological cycles where he is humanity’s protector against the gods.
It’s fascinating that what looks like a queer romantasy on the surface actually borrows a lot from cosmogonic myths – primordial forces, cycles of destruction and rebirth, the tension between chaos and order.
I haven’t seen this aspect really discussed yet – has anyone else noticed these mythological parallels? Do you think Ross J. Kinnaird is deliberately weaving Greek myth into his story, or is it more of a subconscious echo?

The Power of Love: The Two is the second book in Ross J. Kinnaird’s Power of Love series and a great follow-up to The One. The story continues to unfold with hidden secrets, surprising truths, and shifting intentions. The plot is layered and full of rich world-building, with plenty of characters and subplots to keep you hooked. Just like in the first book, exploring this world is a treat. The story also highlights themes of emotions, choices, trust, and humanity—reminding us how powerful love can be.
The trio set out on another adventure, one that answers some of the questions from the first book while raising new ones. Their journey is full of challenges, twists, and unexpected turns, but their determination to uncover the truth keeps them going.
This sequel builds nicely on everything established in the first book. It’s immersive, well-written, and makes for an enjoyable fantasy read. I’d recommend this series to anyone who enjoys detailed world-building, heartfelt themes, and an adventurous plot.
I put this down for months and when I came back I've been struggling to get through it. At 65% in I just don't care anymore. I don't really even know what's going on at this point. I was going to see it through, but tonight I've decided I done. I enjoyed the first book enough to purchase this second installment but this story seems WAY too complicated. I'm not sure what POV this is written in either. Sometimes it feels like first, other times omniscient. Either way there is a whole lot of head hopping back and forth. Also, there are so many incidents where the main character knows what the other characters are thinking and feeling at any given moment without a word of dialog between them. I found that distracting and quite frankly annoying. Thank you, but I done with this series.
I listened to the audiobook, the way the characters age regress is so weird. The way Daniels internal monologue drags out was confusing. Tapping out not reading book 3
