Being greedy is wrong. Right? SophieSophie has always wanted to make Detective Sergeant in the police—it’s all she’s dreamed about for years. Her first real case, and she gets teamed up with one of the grumpiest and most volatile detectives on the force. He pushes all her buttons in a way that makes her close to losing control, something she both craves and fears. Desperate to blow off some steam, she finds herself as an item in Seven Deadly Sins’ charity auction. The only trouble is she’s caught the eye of her new work partner and his criminal best friend. Damien He’s insulted when he’s given the job of babysitting the new detective in the department, a petty punishment from his superiors for daring to whistleblow on their scandals. He resents her tempting presence and hates that she challenges him. Seeing her in the submissive’s auction sends him reeling, and when his best friend also sets his sights on her, he is suddenly determined to make her his. Logan His best friend is on the police force, and he’s a known thief, but Logan has always enjoyed living on the edge. When a sassy new girl starts snooping in his business, he grows suspicious. But when that same girl appears on stage at a submissive auction—and his best friend confirms she works for the police—he needs to know more. He needs to make her his. With a series of break-ins resulting in vandalism and robberies to solve, will Sophie be able to keep her mind on the case, or will she be too focused on trying to choose between Logan and Damien, despite wanting them both just as badly?
I dreamed of being a writer since I was a little girl and lockdown 2020 finally gave me the shove to make my dream a reality. I am addicted to pizza, love watching the Jacksonville Jaguars play and spend most of my free time with my husband and our ever increasing number of pets! 🍕 I write about real, smart and sassy heroines who find their happily ever after with a sexy alpha male. Their journeys are often messy and complicated but love will always find a way in my world ❤️
Enemies to lovers Co-workers to lovers MFM Why Choose/polyamory Touch-her-and-die
This is the third book in a series, but can be read as a standalone. Based in Britain, there is a lot of "arse" spanking as we follow policewoman Sophie's POV. 😉
She puts herself up for a charity auction at the Seven Deadly Sins Club and her winning bidders are none other than her partner at work (police man Damien) and her partner undercover (criminal Logan).
The plot definitely takes a back seat to the spice, but the plot is still there and I'd imagine if you read the first books in this series it'd feel more complete.
I enjoyed Damien more than the other characters, Sophie felt unconfident/unconfrontational for being someone working on a police force and that took away from her being a strong FMC which I would have preferred.
This is open-door but honestly there wasn't even a doorframe... nothing is left to the imagination. I'd recommend for someone who likes dark romance but isn't into dub-con/non-con... Harass or touch without consent and Logan WILL break your hand with a hammer.
Sophie is trying to prove herself on her first case as a DC, working undercover.
She meets Logan whilst undercover and thinks she has found a way to infiltrate the gang he is part of.
But outside of work Sophie wants to submit, she is new to this but had agreed to be auctioned for 10 hours with a Dom. But she ends up with two, Logan and her work colleague Damien who have agreed to share the 10 hours between them.
Sophie's work and personal life has now collided, how can she solve the case and keep both men happy??
There was a good mix of the two storylines, and some misunderstandings before this trio realise they all need each other.

This was one of her shorter books, but still in the BDSM club I've grown fond of. This series always includes some mystery and action along with the romance which I really appreciate and keeps my turning the page. I'm definitely a fan of Erin Coal's world and can't wait to read about the next deadly sin.
This one is definitely about MFM relationship and less about solving the crimes happening in the town. Buuuuuut I was very much intrigued with how the relationship developed between Sophie, Damien, and Logan.
Tropes: Enemies to lovers Hate to lovers Police officer FMC & MMC Thief MMC Morally grey men BDSM club Forced proximity Single POV
Not my first foray into the BDSM side of smut, but this one was interesting because it was sooooo morally grey. A police officer and a thief walk into a BDSM club... and share the same submissive they won at an auction... who happens to be another police officer. Holy moly, does it get steamy! The plot is basic and predictable, but the spice is top tier. So honestly, if you're just looking for heavy smut with a sprinkle of plot, this one is a great one to choose. I liked all the characters, even the broody and possessive Damien. There's not much else to say, but I really enjoyed reading this book. I think this one was my favorite so far from this series, and I'm excited to read the rest. Please read trigger warnings before starting.

Trigger/Content warnings: Sexual harassment at work, BDSM club, violence, torture, explicit language, sexual content
On one level this is a crime novella focusing on minor criminals on another it's an attempt at erotica. For me, to get the best out of both of these vast and fascinating genres it needs more than what a novella can offer.
You see this is obviously a very talented writer. The plot and pace of the novella is great, as is the writing style. But the characters lack any form of chemistry which makes the inclusion of any sex scenes, no matter how well written, seem base and rote. But I guess that could also be the goal. After all this is a novella and word count dictates what gets written.
I loved Sophie's character, a feisty independent woman trying to control her own world by being dominant in work and dominated in the bedroom. Though I haven't read other stories in this series I believe she appears in others. On the other hand her male counterparts were awful and I couldn't understand why, apart from the sex, Sophie would want to have a long term relationship with both of them. Still, each to their own.
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book! I’ve been waiting (un)patiently for Sophie to have her story told, and it was well worth the wait.
I fell in love with Sophie in book one (Writing Wrath) when she was a plucky new police officer and adored her character instantly.
Erin’s writing is brilliant, and as she publishes more and more books, she’s just getting better and better. She’s great at ‘showing’ you the world she’s created, at letting you envision it all clearly in your mind.
The chemistry Sophie had with her men was so electric it jumped off the page at you like a live wire! It was H O T! 🔥
I loved the whole premise of the book; it had the usual plot twists that I’ve come to expect from Erin, and it was great to check in with some of the characters from books one and two.
I cannot wait for book four to find out what room we’ll be entering at SDS (Seven Deadly Sins Club) and who we’ll be entering with.
Thank you, Erin, for trusting me with your books 🖤
Solving Greed is the third book in the Seven Deadly Sins series by Erin Coal. I’ve read each book in the series, they are all amazing, and this one grabs the reader from the opening page. The two MMCs, a police officer and an enforcer have been friends since childhood. The FMC completes the Menage after the two men purchase her in an auction at the Seven Deadly Sins BDSM club. Somehow, Erin Coal weaves spicy hot sex scenes into nearly every chapter while maintaining suspense, and in this case even throws in a twist. The spice is a bit extreme for my liking (i.e. the reason for four stars), yet I had no thoughts of walking away without seeing the plot of this story through to its resolution. There is a kick ass play list included in this story; I'm hoping their Happy for Now ending becomes a wedding or collaring ceremony with this playlist as the backdrop for a HEA in a later story, or novella.
Dom/Sub. BDSM Club. Fast Burn. Why Choose. M.F.M. Enemies to Lovers. Sophie places herself in a submissive auction at the Seven Deadly Sins BDSM Club. Damien and Logan decide to share her. Damien is a cop like Sophie, while Logan is a criminal. This is told from Sophie’s POV. There is a little mystery to be solved with the burglaries but the main focus of the story is on the relationships. Sophie is trying to find herself and her dominates provide her support that she really needs. While this is book 3 in the Seven Deadly Sins series, they are standalones and can be read in any order. I enjoyed the fast pace of this story. This was a book I could not put down. The spice level was amazing. I loved the dom/sub interactions and the use of sub space. It is rare for books to include sub space and true aftercare. This is my second Erin Coal book and I am off to read more of her books!
Assigned to an undercover case as a junior detective, Sophie knows she needs to keep her eye on the ball, especially with a grumpy, reluctant partner watching over her shoulder. But when she messes up a simple job, she’s thrown into the path of another arrogant jerk and vows to keep her distance. So, what are the odds that both men would appear at the BDSM club where she is being auctioned for charity. Even more shocking was their decision to share her. The D/s aspects were really well handled, both men were Doms, and the sex scenes were pretty steamy. I loved how the author described the sensual elements of BDSM, like the feel of the ropes on Sophie’s skin, and how both men always ensured Sophie came down from subspace, safe in their arms. The police investigation took a bit of a backseat to the relationship between the three main characters, but to be honest, I wasn’t really here for that😊 I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The 3rd book in the seven deadly sins series. There is 2 storylines running through this book, the crime story and the spicy story. I didn't really care much for the crime side of things, and felt it was a bit rushed and didn't have any kind of real conclusion re boss. However the story between Damian, Logan and Sophie is where the story really is. Damian and logan are both bidding on Sophie at the sub auction and seven deadly sins sex club, after a quick conversation they agree to share her. Damian is her superior at work, and logan is the criminal she was chasing earlier, and it turns out they are both best friends. The spice is on fire, I love how the relationship between all 3 develops and progresses. Looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.

Solving Greed is the 3rd book set in and around the BDSM club Seven Deadly Sins. It stands alone even though Sophie was introduced in previous books and other characters have cameo appearances. This is not just a MFM romance with two very different doms and one newbie sub; the main characters' lives are also connected outside the club. There's a bit of danger and angst along with steamy sexy times and a fairly abrupt HEA for the throuple that leaves a number of questions unanswered. I hope we'll revisit them in future books! I received a free copy through Booksirens and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.
What a delightful short and spicy read. Sometimes you just need a novella to help you along your reading journey and this one came at exactly the right time for me.
The dynamics between the characters in this book were spot on. They were very contrasting people but for some reason the chemistry between them all just worked, really proving that opposites attract.
The spice was well written, imaginative and very steamy.
There was just enough plot to keep it interesting but it didn’t distract from the relationships which were really the main focus of the book.
This is the third book in Erin’s “Seven Deadly Sins” series, and I like how the books are all standalones but still interconnect. This way we also get a small glimpse of the previous characters in the series who also frequent the BDSM club called “Seven Deadly Sins”. The spice is spicing in this one between the main three characters and starts early on in the story, so we don’t have to wait too long for some action. 😉
Sophie is participating in an auction for subs, to raise money for a good cause. Whoever has the highest bid will win time with the sub their bidding for. Both Damian and Logan are interested in Sophie as their sub and start a bidding war, but because these men are best friends they decide to split their time with her.
Sophie is very distracted from her job as a police officer by these two men, and when feelings start entering this love triangle things get complicated. The time Damian and Logan bought with Sophie is running out. Will they be able to let each other go?
I’ve read the second book in this series “Painting Gluttony” a while ago, and I really enjoyed it. The characters had their own background story and there was a whole story going on outside of the romantic one. And while I enjoyed this book as well, personally I kind of missed that depth a bit in this story to be honest.
I think this one is my favorite out of the three books in this series. I love that it's 2 guys and a girl. It goes in depth in how their relationship works, even with how short the book is. There really isn't a plot besides DI Brogan and the crap he pulled with Sophie. It really angered me how her mom, her job, and everyone besides Logan and Damien acted. But, as sad as the reaction is, it's so realistic. And that is the worst part of it all. I'm glad that Sophie had Damien and Logan to protect her. Love this story and look forward to more from this author. I have read 4 of her books so far and genuinely enjoyed all of them!
This book is a can’t put down read and the graphic sex scenes will positively affect any reader. A young female police officer Sophie offers herself as a submissive for ten hours of BDSM activity at the Seven Deadly Sins (SDS) club charity auction. Logan and Damien are two friends who are Doms win the bidding and agree to share her! This all takes place after hours while on duty she had infiltrated a local crime ring and unknowingly met another undercover policemen who is one of the her two masters at SDS. The sex starts a great attraction between the three sexy people and continues to the excellent ending. I can’t wait for the next romantic novel from Erin Coal.
"Solving Greed: The Seven Deadly Sins, Book 3" by Erin Coal.
A fantastic addition to the series so far and I love, love, love Sophie! I was wondering if her book was going to be the third and I'm really excited about the next one. All of these books have everything, a fast plot, smutty goodness and hot main characters with flair. I love how Erin has written her detective characters and her imagination runs wild yet again and I'm living for it. I rated this one ⭐⭐⭐⭐.
3.5 stars for this quick, steamy read. Sophie is up against it at work as she battles her poluce workplace issues , the desire to prove herself and find fulfillment personally. This is a hot read, with a bit of a mystery thrown in. Sophie's quest finds her involved with two men, crime and the world of BDSM. I did find the overall atmosphere a little unconvincing which meant I couldn't quite gel with the book, but it is a good read. 💖💖💖
Book 3 in the Seven Deadly Sins series, Solving Greed is a short, spicy, delightful read. I really enjoy how the books are standalone reads, but all interconnected as well. Sophie is a police officer who offers herself as a submissive for a charity event at a BDSM club. Logan and Damien are both Doms, and they are the ones that win the bidding. Now, get ready for them to heat up the pages when they decide to share Sophie. The sex scenes are graphic, but so hot, and I promise you won't forget them any time soon. I can't wait to see what's next.
I really enjoyed the fact that the characters were morally grey. The spice was red hot and the plot was really good. Damien the cop and Logan the thief are best friends and you add in Sophie the cop who wants to make Detective Sergeant and what do you get? A really good book that you should definitely readI received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Sophie has finally landed an undercover role, and she couldn't be more excited. Except the next day at her local BDSM club, when she goes up for auction, her coworker and undercover mark start a bidding war. What happens when you mix business with pleasure? You're in for a wild ride.
Solving Greed is book 3 of Erin Coal's Seven Deadly Sins series. This is Sophie's story, and she is working undercover where she meets a hot as sin criminal, who she later learns is named Logan. She also lets her friends convince her to take part in a sub auction event at the local BDSM club, Seven Deadly Sins. Not only is she shocked to see her a-hole coworker Damien there, but also Logan? And they're.....talking? Sophie's mind is reeling as her time is purchased by not one of these gorgeous a-holes, but both of them. Will she be content going back and forth, or will she take them both at once? Will she keep them, or walk away? Sizzling and spicy, this is a must read if you're into this series by Erin Coal!
