Avery Greaves’ love of all things magical, fantastical, and mythological is the result of 90s/early 2000s television shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and X-Men: Evolution. Aside from being a writer, Avery is also a librarian, where she recommends all of her favourite books to unsuspecting patrons. When she isn’t writing or book slinging, she can be found lazing around with her husband (also a writer) and their two fuzzy felines. Her family lives along the beautiful Lake Huron in rural Ontario, Canada.

I absolutely loved this book! The blend of mystery, mythical creatures, and beautiful scenery made for an incredibly engaging read. The descriptions of the creatures he encounters are nothing short of beautiful. The author's vivid portrayal of Okanagan Lake's, Ogopogo and the additional magical beings added a delightful touch of fantasy to the narrative. A delightful read for anyone who enjoys a perfect mix of mystery, mythical wonders, and picturesque landscapes!

The professor is on another mission to see about a sea serpent in British Columbia. Along the way he meets more mythical creatures than he thought he would. He had to fix a problem but he needed the help from the creatures. What’s happens next you’ll have to read for yourself lol. I’m loving this series and can’t wait for the next one. In highly recommend this book.

Another wonderful story by Avery Greaves! I absolutely love that there's a small message to the audience that children of all ages could use in their lives. Getting to hear about 4 new mythical, magical, and fantastical creatures was extremely entertaining. Another great addition to a classroom library as well.
