The Bering Group is the most elite batch of operatives created by Jack Knowles, an experienced veteran at the CIA, aka "the agency". Deploying anywhere at a moments notice, neutralizing any threat, they are the definition of clandestine.

When four Navy SEALs are killed on Veterans Day, President Harrison has questions as to who is responsible. Shortly thereafter, a video surfaces where terrorist Khaled Ahmadi claims responsibility for the attack, threatens millions of innocent lives in the United States, and makes one clear demand, Jack Knowles delivered to him. This begs the question, what connection does one of the most deadly terrorists in the world have with the CIA's top veteran operator?

With this new threat looming, the Bering Group has no choice but to go on the offensive. A time crunch established and millions of lives on the line, the Bering Group is forced to do what they do best. Hunt.

Non Stop Action From Beginning To End!

This is the second book about The Bering Group, a clandestine group of "misfit" secret operatives unofficially sanctioned by the CIA. The group finds themselves in the middle of a firestorm of epic proportions from planned terrorist attacks both home and abroad. To make matters worse, an unsuspecting powerful enemy from within targets the head of the group for execution. Their journey through the quagmire is brilliantly fought from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale and the cast of characters were quite entertaining. Although this book is a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the first book Insertion to get to know The Bering Group from its inception.
