A rockstar romance that began with "I do"...and led to the love of a lifetime.
Olivia
All I wanted was to share my music with the world. Then I woke up married to Lewis, the sexy bassist of the band I'm opening for. Our drunken Vegas wedding was a mistake. A lie. A joke that went too far...
I'm determined to annul our marriage. He lives for the fame and excess of the rockstar life. I live for my music and changing the world. We have nothing in common. And yet, the way his stormy eyes seem to see into my soul ignites a fire I can't ignore...
Lewis
I'm living every rockstar's dream. Money. Parties. Fans. Then I meet Olivia, the opening act with the voice of an angel, and end up married after a reckless night in Vegas—definitely not my usual style.
But Olivia sees something in me that makes me want to be better. I never plan to fall for a small town girl. But she's the only duet I want, and a love this big is worth fighting for.
If you love steamy rockstar romances, opposites attracting and love stories that begin with an "I do," this book is for you.
Morgana Bevan is a sucker for a rock star romance, particularly if it involves a soul-destroying breakup or strangers waking up in Vegas. She’s a contemporary romance author based in Wales. When Morgana’s not writing steamy celebrity romances with gorgeous British rock stars and movie stars, she’s travelling the world, searching for inspiration.
Please note: The author disconnected from Goodreads permanently and will not be maintaining series lists, cover or blurb updates.
Marrying Olivia is the 7th book in the True Platinum series. This is Lewis and Olivia's story. I think this, for the most part, works OK as a stand alone. I did feel like there were a lot of characters that are from other books and lots of other back stories that I was missing. This also seems to take place while events of a another book or two occur. So I might have benefitted from reading the first 6 books.
As for the romance, I did enjoy this couple. While it was a bit fast, I could definitely see them together and liked how they went on dates to get to know each other. I was also rooting for Lewis to work through his issues. Talk about an angsty boy.. understandable, but still angsty. Overall, this is an enjoyable romance. And I would recommend it.
This was a drunken Vegas wedding rock romance where opposites attract. Olivia was a small-time girl getting her break in the music world. Now she was opening for a famous rock band. Lewis was a big-time rock star who loves the lifestyle he gets to live. After a chance meeting they knew that they should keep their connection a secret…but getting married in Vegas isn’t too secret!
If you are looking for an insta love, steamy rock romance with secrets in the mix, this is the book for you.
Olivia is an opening act for the band she grew up loving and catches the eye of the bass player she always had a crush on. The storyline is sweet and I enjoyed the characters but the love story moved incredibly fast. This is also an interconnected "standalone" and has a lot of characters that influence the story that are a bit difficult to keep straight. Also the title of the book feels like a bit of a spoiler as the marriage doesn't happen til about 60 percent through the book. Overall I enjoyed it but the whole thing felt a bit rushed.
Marrying Olivia: An Accidental Vegas Wedding Rock Star Romance (True Platinum Rock Star Romance Series Book 7) by Morgana Bevan is about the Brightside bass player, Lewis, and solo singer Olivia, who will be Brightside’s opening act in their upcoming tour. Olivia is singing and playing her acoustic guitar in a former bar haunt of Lewis when he finds himself mesmerized by her performance. He didn’t realize until his bandmate and lead singer Lilly told him that she had already found Olivia and asked her to be their opening act on tour. The raw magnetism between Olivia and Lewis was unparalleled by any other past experiences for either. After a night spent closing down a bar after sharing for hours, they act upon their attraction. Because of the tour and the press, they decide to keep their time together between themselves. After Nia, the band photographer and guitarist James’s girlfriend fell while taking band pictures, only immediate family could get medical updates about her. Olivia felt shaken up. Nia’s accident causes Olivia and Lewis to reevaluate their relationship and decide to get married in Vegas after a concert. Instead of solidifying their now-declared love, their relationship spirals. Olivia doesn’t want to remain hidden away like a dirty little secret from the band and the public in general. Lewis doesn’t know how to deal with his previous trauma dealing with the disasters caused by the tabloid press. There is family drama, life and death decisions, band manager interference, and knowing the tour has to go on no matter what. Morgana Bevan fleshes out the romance, so Lewis must decide about his life and Olivia. How will the relationship with Lewis affect Olivia’s heart and her career? What survives when all the dust settles between the two lovers? Marrying Olivia by Morgana Bevan writes raw emotions and real-life dilemmas for her characters to solve and live through.
This is a steamy, opposites attract, rock star, secret relationship to accidental marriage, forced proximity, instalove romance with some found family and small-town vibes. Lewis, our MMC, is a jaded and disillusioned rockstar and Liv, our FMC, is a small-town Carolina girl with big dreams. After a sort of chance encounter, Lewis and Liv’s relationship takes off right out of the gate and there really isn’t much waiting to get to the steam. Lewis and Liv are both likable and relatable characters with their share of vulnerabilities. I really like that despite his rockstar status, Lewis isn’t a total cad and I appreciate that there isn’t OW drama which seems to be prevalent in a lot rockstar romances. There are also plenty of side characters from other books included that add to the depth of the story. The plot is interesting and engaging in this one and filled with tropes that I enjoy. While we get plenty of action and stolen moments from the start, it seems like it takes a minute to get to some things. We didn’t get to the arena/stadium tour until the 40% mark and the accidental marriage until around the 60% mark. I think that I would have enjoyed having these things occur a bit earlier in the story. Also, there were a couple of plot holes (like the Kevin storyline) and things that seemed to come out of left field (like the storyline involving Olivia’s mother) among other things that just seemed a bit too contrived. Still, this was a heartwarming story of fighting for that once in a lifetime kind of love. Of course, there was a little stumble and a grand romantic gesture but, in the end, this was a delightful story with an emotional and satisfying HEA.
Lewis and two of his bandmates are taking a night away from everything before leaving for a two-year 70-city world tour. It was open mic night at Rhymes. Every time they are in LA this is the one place he comes to feel the energy that he felt thirteen years ago when they first started out. He isn't sure when it had disappeared and it was beginning to scare him.
Just as they enter an angel takes her place on stage with a Southern twang that has him leaving his friends behind, weaving in and out to stand in front of the stage.
Olivia is trying not to fangirl all over the place. She has crushed on the bass player of The Brightside since high school. His posters had been plastered on her bedroom walls and had been his inspiration to follow her dreams. And he is standing right in front of her.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is book seven of the series and has its own HEA, but there is a HUGE cast of secondary characters and I plan on reading this series from the beginning to ensure I get everyone's story.
This book is action-packed and very emotional so prepare those Kleenex now because you will need them. Olivia is from a small South Carolina town and she is going on her first tour as the opening act of The Brightside. Lewis knows what can happen when the press sniffs out a relationship and he is determined to protect Olivia - even if it means he loses what he wants the most.
If you want a steamy hot rock star romance look no further! This book has all the feels! Highly recommend and looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
This is book seven in The True Platinum Rock Star Romance series and it is Lewis and Olivia’s story. Olivia had been chosen to be the opening act for a band that is one of her favourites as she grew up so she was really excited to have a chance to showcase her music and talent only for complications to occur when she least expected it and it could also completely ruin her chance and career. Lewis is the base player for there band Brightside and he loved the carefree life that he lived but when he met Olivia he was so captivated by her and realised that he wanted to get to know her on a deeper level. The attraction and chemistry between Lewis and Olivia was instant and strong and after a night drinking and joking they end up married the next morning and Olivia is determined to get there marriage annulled but Lewis has other ideas because he never expected to ever fall in love never mind so instantly or expecting to have a true connection to Olivia and he wants to continue being married to her so he has decided that he will fight for them and what he wants in the long run and that is a future with her. Lewis and Olivia will have many ups and downs along with complications in there relationship but will there baggage and past history and all the pressure pull them apart or will it make them stronger together. I absolutely loved this book with it’s complicated characters and I couldn’t put it down and had to keep turning the pages to see what happened next and also what the outcome would be for Lewis and Olivia in the end. I can’t wait to read more books by this author in the future.
Lord, Olivia has the voice of an angel. Morgana Bevan included a playlist on Spotify. She scored mucho points for that. Olivia is opening for “the Brightside” Rock group. “ She said, seeing them live changed everything for her life.’ Olivia with her heart on her sleeve wants to share her music with the world, the little singer - songwriter from South Carolina, more points from me. Lewis Davis - Rock Star bassist was pulled by an invisible force the moment he heard the opening act for the longest 5 continents tour of his career. 13 years in the music business and he doesn’t do commitment, love or future well. “Olivia Monroe was intoxicating, addicting an he knew he would never get enough.” Until they woke up married after drinking all night. Liv, didn’t want to get heartbroken by a man who never let any one in as he was her teenage crush. Posters on the wall and all. I identified so much with this ARC. I couldn’t put it down. This was my first read by this author. Bless her heart she even gave us a email to send errors to her up front. This is the 7th book of the True Platinum Series. It was a romance com, fast paced an exciting page turner. By the way I had the Jackson Five including Michael Jackson on my bedroom walls. This is a honest review for a ARC.
This is an insta-love read, which is usually not my favorite, but the author does a good job of developing the characters within this love story. Lewis is the bassist for the very popular band, Brightside. He hears Olivia singing in his favorite low key bar and is immediately transfixed. Little does he know that Olivia will soon be touring as a headliner for Brightside. These two immediately fall hard and fast but Lewis has to fight demons from his past to keep Olivia. While the characters do fall in love right from the beginning the author manages to draw out their relationship and really build upon it as they truly get to know one another and grow closer. This was a wonderful read, and the 7th book in the True Platinum series. While it can be read as a standalone, characters from the previous books are a part of the story and it does help to read the prior books to get the full backstory.
Lewis is the bassist for the band Brightside, and he goes to a club where bands and singers perform. He is stunned when he sees Olivia perform and is drawn to her. They end up running into each after her performance and talk about her being their opening act and end up spending the night together. Olivia freaks out and leaves before he wakes and then worries if she messed things up with him. When she joins the tour, they get together and talk about seeing each other. However, Lewis has some issues about going public after they get married after a drunken night out. Things in his past have shown him how out of control the press can be. Will he let what happened in the past cause trouble with Olivia and him?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

A little bit of everything can be found in Marrying Olivia, including lots of emotional moments at the end of the novel as well as sweet and spicy moments. Lewis, who plays bass in the band Brightside, enjoyed a carefree lifestyle, but after meeting Olivia, he became captivated with her and realized he wanted to know her more. With its complex characters, I really enjoyed the story and found myself glued to the page to find out what would happen next and what would ultimately happen to Lewis and Olivia. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

‘You’re everything I never knew I needed.’ Those are the words that Lewis said to Olivia that made me 🥰. Lewis is doubting himself and just not feeling anything anymore. Olivia just got her big break and will be the starting act for Lewis band. From the first moment they meet the sparks fly. She brings the spark back to his life and music and he brings the love to her life. Enjoy their journey. Yes there are some bumps along the way but they will get there. Enjoy this cast of characters and this story. ❤️🔥
Lewis finds Olivia singing in a bar where he is entranced by her voice. Turns out they will be spending more time together as she is his bands opening act. Throughout the story, their journey is a bit bumpy as they try to hide their growing relationship. When they accidentally get married in Vegas, the struggle with being in a secret romance threatens everything they accomplished in opening up their walls. It's such an exciting story with wonderfully written moments.
I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily leave this review.
This is the story of Lewis and Olivia. Lewis is a major rock star a band. Olivia dreamed all of her life about being on stage and singing. Lewis meets Olivia in a bar that he frequented and could not keep his eyes off of her. They secretly start dating and while in Vegas get married. But, Lewis has a deep secret which he has not told Olivia, which would explain his behavior. This was a really good book to read. Cannot wait to read the other stories in "The Brightside" series.
This is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, pop stars, country, bands etc with Olivia who’s an opening act for the band Brightside her favourite rock band she meets her crush Lewis at a bar on open mic night and from there their passion ignites. Sorry guys no major spoilers it’s just too good to spoil, I loved the characters a small town girl and a big city boy total opposites but they are perfect for each other and I highly recommend this book.
This was my first book my Morgana and it won’t be my last. Olivia and Lewis have instant chemistry that comes right off the page from the start. This rockstar couple started off with a bang that only grew as did their secret relationship turned marriage. I loved watching Olivia grow in her career and helping Lewis grow. Lewis over comes so much for Olivia and it is beautiful. This book is so good! A must read. I will be reading the whole back list now.
Lewis is a superstar rockstar God, living the life that comes with it. Olivia has been obsessed with Lewis's band since she was a teenager. Who ever knew she would get the opportunity to be the opening act for Lewis's band. Finally, she gets to meet her idol, and who wound have guessed? he's just as amazing as she thought. and even better? He's smitten with her too! Will a drunken idea be a horrible mistake? or was it a blessing in disguise?
A brilliant story continuing Morgana Bevans True Platinum series with Lewis and Olivia.
Oh boy does Lewis have some smooth words..... he fell and fell fast and hard as did Olivia but they try to keep it a secret which is never a good idea.
A great read with all the feels.... and yes it made me cry... but it was worth it for the HEA.
I thoroughly enjoyed the road to enlightenment for Lewis; Olivia knew what she wanted - they were good together. Everyone could see the sparks and the love they had for each other - thought they were hiding their feelings from their friends - nope!
Finally, after some miscommunication’ and tragic happenings, Lewis comes to his senses, he makes some grand gestures, and love wins!
This Is an Interesting Las Vegas Rock Star Romance When Opposites Attract! Olivia Is a Small Time Girl Opening For a Rock Band! Lewis Is a Rock Star! After a Chance Encounter, Starks Fly! If You are Looking for a Steamy Rock Star Romance, It's Time for You to Start Reading This Book!
I Received an ARC Copy from the Author! This is My Voluntary and Honest Review!
Such a good addition to the "True Platinum" rock star romance series. This is a good read about Lewis, the bassist for the band Brightside, and Olivia, a singer and song writer. They wake up together in bed, wearing a ring and married. She has crushed on him for a long time. When he sees her is awestruck. The two are combustible and I love how their story develops!
This was Lewis and Olivia’s story. He’s spent years perfecting the art of keeping people at arm's length. But Olivia slips past my defences. And as a result makes him want things he never thought possible. Love. Commitment. A future. But the price of fame is high, and he doesn’t know if he’s strong enough. This was a roller coaster for me. And voluntarily leaving this review.
Lewis & Olivia Oh my poor red, puffy eyes 😭 I knew I needed to be in the right headspace before reading this book & even with that I'm an emotional wreck. I love the ways these books are woven in overlapping timelines as we see new perspectives on previous scenes. Lewis was a sexy, dirty talker who thankfully made everything right once he got his head straight.
I enjoyed Lewis and Olivia's story. This book was fun and emotional. I could really feel for these two as they struggled with their emotions, desires and reality. Steam, sweetness, drama and poignancy give your heart a solid workout as this couple's romance develops.
Marrying Olivia follows Lewis the bass playing in the rock band Brightside and Olivia the new opening act for the band. Olivia has always been in love with Lewis and a chance encounter one night brings them together in more ways than just in a professional way. There is an instant connection but keeping those feelings a secret could be harder than they expect especially after a drunken night in Vegas finds them married. This rockstar, secret relationship, drunken accidental Vegas marriage romance was such a good story filled with ups, downs, real emotions and let's not forget some secrets. If this is your vibe than this is a story you should read. This is the seventh book in the series, and I definitely will be going back and reading the previous books.
Thank you, Morgana Bevan for the ARC and sharing Lewis and Olivia's story with me.
This is an amazing read!! I love Olivia and Lewis! Morgana has done it again. Couldn't put the book down! Morgana does such a great job of creating a world for these characters. I forget it is fiction!! 💙💜
I enjoyed this book. Trying to keep some of the secondary characters straight having never read any other book was a bit confusing. But the insta love, drunken marriage, as well as Lewis’s past and Olivia’s fangirl crush were great.
This story's primary trope is a drunk Vegas wedding but it is everything but accidental. Because the author created very interesting characters and a very good storyline that makes that wedding inevitable. It was a treat to read not only because it's a fantastic story, but also because all my favorite characters from previous books are also here. And it's like visiting old friends. Of course, now I want to know more about the bandmate little sister's book that is coming next.
A great read, the story of Olivia and Lewis. A rockstar romance. Fast paced and fun, but emotional towards the end. I liked how it was told from both points of view.
