Wow, this book was nuts! Revenge at its finest ✨🤌🏽 I’ve been on a dark romance kick lately and this book did not disappoint. I loved it but I do wish the book was longer or part of a series. I want more Daria and Mel.

I havent read much sapphic books but when I saw the description of roommates and dark romance I was sold its been hard for find a good sapphic story and I finally found on that kept me hooked and I fell hard for Daria and mel . I was an emotional mess when they hurt Melanie she did nothing to deserve that , and no one does.

Kane and Carlos had their friendship , the way they made Daria safe and knew how to protect herself no matter where she was, and Daria is so much like her father .

I love how dark Daria is cause she knows the world is not good to women I know it broke her when she felt like she failed mel when that disgusting Matt and deedra turned mel life into chaos and helplessness I just wanted comfort mel so bad.

( When I saw the reviews before reading, i was so disappointed cause I love this book. I didn't have any issues at all, but with dark sapphic romance, always read the tw if it isn't your vibe . I wanted more of Daria and Melanie. I love the connection they had from the moment they met, and the darkness in Daria was addicting)

Yes. All the warnings. Read them multiple times and I still cringed and hairy-eyeballed some passages. Oof. That was some ending, and I enjoyed the Kane POV chapter more than I thought I would. Proud dad lets his murderous daughter extract some vigilante justice. The MCs have a love that’s armed to its teeth and the rest is history. Gore galore. Enjoy!

Sometimes, justice comes in the form of revenge. And sometimes, revenge is done by a contract killer's daughter. The perfect theme of this book is "Be careful who you mess with."

I love Daria and Melanie's connection. I love how protective Daria is over her. The father-daughter relationships were actually very sweet in this story - considering the content. It's a dark romance, so please check the TWs... but it's a very good revenge story as well!!

Phew, this was a wild ride. Sometimes you just need a book where the conflict comes from outside forces and our two main characters are ride or die. It was nice to see Daria and Mel fall hard and fast and I loved the silly and loving dialogue between them. The triggering parts are heartbreaking but thankfully some is not on page.

I hope this author write more sapphic stories in the future.

I did not like this book. It was really rushed, and the ending was too quick.

I loved the plot of the book, a ”cute” romance with a dark thriller. But because it was only 260 pages it was a lot to unpack. If the book had been a little longer I would have loved it.

Did not enjoy the writing but I finished it because it was so fast paced and I refrain from DNFing unless I really have to. The book left me feeling icky and I cannot say that I recommend. Make sure to read the content warnings if you decide to read the book.
