Have you ever imagined yourself taking on the role of your favorite main character? How about the role of the villain? I had the passing thought myself, and in creating characters I had certainly put myself in their shoes. Now though, I found myself living the life of the cruelest woman I'd ever written into existence.
Why did it have to be the woman I'd created when I'd been at the lowest point of my life? Why did I have to be thrown into the one story I'd written without a happily ever after? Was it really all because a mysterious stranger had a problem with the story's ending?
Things were changing though from how I'd written them, and that was most apparent with my three favorite male leads. They'd grown beyond the characters I'd created, become more complex and...real. They had every reason to hate the woman I found myself inhabiting the body of, but they gave me acceptance and hope.
Danger was around every corner, and even though I still wasn't sure what was reality and what was fiction I was determined to save everyone. Can the villainess of the story truly transform into the heroine?
Content There are references to past abuse inflicted on the main character, both physical and mental. While these are described in a more general sense, the scenes may still warrant a pass.
4.5 This book was so cool!!!! I love the concept~~~ as a fan of astrology I really liked the concept of the stars you were born under giving you physical attributes and magic. And it was so well done with the twins ! The ponctuation threw me off guard at first (especially the uses of the « » for the dialogues that were different from how people usually use them) but it was non important compared to the plot. I wish we could have a lot more of their growing connection~ and I guess the next book will probably be staring Mikaela, Merlin, and Balor (and maybe Arthur?) but I can’t wait to see more of Rhea and her Atlas boys !
(As a Bretonne myself I have always loved the Arthurian legends I grew up hearing about and I can’t wait to read the next book!!!!)
I struggled to get into this one…and almost put it down, but thankfully kept reading and it picked up! I really liked the brothers, each one their own individual self and their traits so different than the others. I liked the Astrology included throughout the story. The building relationships between Abigail/Rhea and the guys was nice and I was glad for everyone to get somewhat of an HEA. It was a bit different than I expected, but not in a bad way.
I really enjoyed this amazing world! Fantastic writing and such a unique storyline!! The characters are awesome and Rhea is such a sweet FMC! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!
