Book one in a new series this series is an off-shoot from the Alpha Tactical Ops series which I loved and this one hits the spot if you are looking for a romantic, thriller suspense, it is fast paced and the characters are just what the story needed all different but good.

Piper Harrison is on a trip around Australia on their yacht the Dreamcatcher with her fourteen year old daughter Scout, after losing her husband, Scout is not the easiest going teenager but when they are caught in a storm and hit a container and the yacht sinks things are just going to get worse, or will they? The handsome officer who saves them is soon worming his way into her heart, could this be a new start for them all?

Border Force Captain Ryder Westwood and his team are alerted to a boat around a sunken off limits yacht but when they get there they are attacked badly and need to get away before they lose their lives and then another call comes in that a yacht has gone down and there are people that need rescuing, but when they rescue a widow an her daughter they also make a grim discovery.

Ryder gives refuge to Piper and Scout and starts the investigation into their terrible discovery with the help of Wolf Security headed up by Aria and with the help of The Alpha Tactical Ops team are the shooting the and what they discover linked to the terrible things that were associated with the evil Mr. Chiu? The investigation leads to danger for Piper and Scout and Ryder is determined to ensure that they remain safe because the walls around his heart seem to be breaking down, could he find a new life with Piper and her daughter.

This is an action packed and fast paced story with a sizzling romance heating up through flying bullets and danger around every corner, I loved seeing Ryder and Piper come together, through everything that is going on and catching up with the Tactical Ops team was so good.

I do highly recommend this one and I am really looking forward to book two with Indiana and seeing how much further we get in discovering what is really going on and who is running the evil show.

My thanks to the author and Booksprout for my digital copy to read and review.

Risky Attraction is the first heart-pounding book in the Wolf Security series. I loved the Alpha Tactical Ops series and jumped straight into this series because I couldn't get enough of the characters and their heart-stopping stories.

I loved this story, full of complex alpha war-torn men and sassy women. It is fast-paced, action packed and will get your blood pumping, in excitement, and the sexual tension runs high.

Two people who lost everything find themselves running for their lives from the bad guys they thought had ended with the death of Chui, but it seems that beyond death, his connections don't stop.

If you don't read this series or the others, you are missing out on all the fun.

Adrenaline filled & action packed, this was a great read! Right f/the start it kept me on the edge of my seat & I didn’t want to put it down. There were only about 2 spicy scenes, but w/all the action & suspense I honestly didn’t miss the sex. Piper & Ryder had so much chemistry, I couldn’t wait until they finally heated things up! There were a couple scenes where Piper was reminiscing about her late husband that were sad & I felt for her & Scout. Scout was a little much at times w/her behavior, but I had to remind myself that she was only 14 & was dealing w/alot of hurt, resentment & anger over her dad’s death. But man did I get a kick out of her too! As sassy as she was I had to laugh at her swearing to her mom.
This was a great read & I’m looking forward to Indiana’s story. I also want to go back & read the Alpha Tactical series to get the side characters in this books stories!

Risky Attraction takes to the high seas, a labyrinth of an old wharf, and an enemy not unlike a hydra who grows with each deadly strike against them. Kendall Talbot has a gift for writing adrenaline rush romantic suspense with fully developed characters and solid romance usually in an exotic locale or unusual situation.

While I’ve read the original Alpha Tactical Ops series in order before diving into Risky Attraction, I could see how a new reader might pick it up and do just fine.

Captain Ryder Westwood of the Border Force is on routine patrol off the Australian coast when he and his crew encounter a hostile craft firing on them. A storm comes up and he has to break off contact without much fire power of his own plus there is a distress call nearby. He was in a mood before all this due to the death of his wife and her lies and actions before her death, but now, he is distracted. His grief and bitterness feel a little lighter to bear thanks to the quietly, strong woman he rescues from the sea and the mystery she has discovered when her sailboat went down.

Piper is was barely keeping her head above water while grieving her husband’s death and at a loss for handling her teenage daughter and that was before their sailboat struck something in the water during a storm. Scout, her daughter, is prone to blame Piper for everything and lashes out at Piper, but they both get a jolt from their grief and anger when they are pulled into a dangerous investigation alongside Ryder. Someone wants the investigation dead in the water and will come after them all to keep them from discovering who is behind it all and the connection to the past.

Risky Attraction was a sizzling hot opener to the series for both the high-octane suspense side and for the simmering of attraction for two grief-stricken widowed leads. Kendall Talbot didn’t hesitate to explore their different situations and how that affected them both including a hurting and lost teenager who broke my heart the way she lashed her mother and couldn’t get her footing.
I liked the hints of a connection of this current case to what came before, but also the revelation of a new shadowy, formidable baddie. Ryder isn’t sure he can trust locally after the corruption was uncovered and is still coming out, but it was great seeing him tap into Aria and his other friends with Wolf Security to back him up.

I can’t wait to see where it all goes next with a new romance pair introduced as new side characters in this one. A no-risk recommendation to romantic suspense fans in Risky Attraction.

I rec'd an eARC from the author to read in exchange for an honest review.

Wolf Security Series:
Risky Attraction - Romance. Adventure. Action. Good characters. Good story lines. Gamut of emotions. Just another interesting and intriguing story to get fully immersed in the pages. Source: Booksprout. 4*

Brotherhood Protectors Series:
Hunter’s Mission, #2 - Another romance story filled with action and adventure by one of my favorite authors. Wonderful and devious characters with good story lines told in a fast paced, interesting and immersing writing style. There is a bit of sex and vulgar language, but that does not interrupt the flow. Source: BookSprout. 4*

Alpha Tactical Ops Series:
Stealth Mission, prequel - An entertaining read complete with military action, romance and forgiveness, with a touch of revenge/justice. Ms. Talbot is one of the few authors that will actually have me holding my breath or leaning forward with anticipation when reading action scenes. Ya never know what she is going to dish out. Great characters and story lines in this series. Source: Booksprout. 5*

Escape Mission, #1 - I love every book I've read so far by this talented author. This book is full of excitement, danger, intrigue, good characters and good story lines. There is romance, too. The romantic are always in heat, and that's a bit distracting in several places in this book. I have a hard time believing a professional soldier, Special Forces Ops to boot, would let T&A interfere with his planning and thoughts when they are about to get involved with some bad business that could get them killed. She is out of her experience field and should only care that part filling out the seat of his jeans is keeping her pants safe. Otherwise, this is an awesome read! Multiple stories all well blended into a hard to put down read. Although flawed, from battles, the crew is a bunch of likeable, realistic folk. The civilians have their baggage, too, but go well with the rest. Not many of the baddies are known but even baddie Marcus is OK. 5*

Hostile Mission, #2 - Begins two months after Escape ends. Told from Levi's point of view, his romance, too. Interesting. Intense. Intriguing. Lots of action and events running through these story lines. An old enemy rears its ugly head while the gang works a job on the South Pole. Some hairy bits that add to making it hard to put this book down. A new love; new jobs; new characters. 5*

Rescue Mission, #3 - More fun, action, excitement and romance are found in this story. Hard to put down. I skip the sex scenes and edit out some of the vulgar language but any book by Ms. Talbot is worth reading. There is plenty of happenings for Ghost and Neon adding to their romantic beginnings. Well blended are the old story lines with the new. 5*

Stealth Mission, #4 - This series has been a great ride so far. The old story line of Scorpion and the unknown enemies blends well with the new story for Viper and his teammates. Besides a new romance, there are a lot of secrets, surprises and more questions. Well written, well thought out and fun to read, the talented Ms. Talbot gives us another entertaining, action-filled story with her brand of romance. 5*

Shadow Mission, #5 - It was great to get back to the missing submarine and the gold bars again. Yasmin is a very likeable character; Cobra comes off a bit "unmanly" sadly, his thoughts are not the usual team player. Unfortunately, there is an over abundance of vulgar language in this book, which became distracting and overwhelming. First time I wanted a Talbot book to end. Otherwise, the story was interesting. Source: Booksprout. 4*

Rogue Mission, #6 - The last book of the series but not the end for its characters. Plenty of intrigue and action mixed in with plenty of romance, including a second chance. Betrayal, suspense, suspicion and excitement mixed in with interesting story lines that accumulate here. A tiny thread or two will be carried over into the new Wolf Securities Series. This was another advance read book that I was given for my honest review. I enjoy military type romance books even though a lot of them have the same kind of story-line. So I was so grateful to get the opportunity to read this book. It took me a long time to realize that this book was based out of Australia so I was slightly confused at first of the book. I really loved the two main characters in this book. I felt like both characters had some history that made each of them who they are. Though, I thought it was interesting that they both had their first love (high school sweetheart) die before the book started. Though, it worked as they had similar ground to connect with. I fell in love with the snotty nose teenager that Piper was raising. This girl made me chuckle so much but I was also interesting to see her pain of losing her father. Though, I did want to smack her a few times for how she was treating her mom (I have a preteen daughter so I get the frustration). I loved Ryder, but I wanted to see more personality out of him. Like why didn't he try to step in to help Piper with her daughter's attitude more. I felt like the book was rushed in a way. That the two main characters fell in love quickly, I am not sure if it's because in the end it skips ahead by months or not. I also was bummed that there is no final of who was the cause of the shipping container. Who is B......it's going to drive me nuts. I am just hoping that the next book in the series more mysterious come out. The smut in this book is very little but it didn't take away from the romance in this book. It's pretty clean book. So if you are looking for smut...this might not be a book for you. I highly recommend checking out this book though. I can't wait to read book two.

What a fabulous story!

Risky Attraction is the first book in a spin-off series of the wildly popular Alpha Tactical Ops series by this award-winning author who is known for delivering exceptional action, adventure and romance. This new series promises a set of stand alone romantic thrillers featuring all-new players but with references to the beloved Alpha Tactical Ops series in terms of characters and events. While I have read that entire series (and loved every single book) I can say that after reading this story, you will not be lost if this is your first book by this exceptional author. I am also confident in saying that it won’t be your last book by her, either. This book presents the story of Piper, a courageous young widow, and her angsty teenage daughter, Scout, who are navigating a tumultuous time in their lives when they are literally rescued from the jaws of certain death by a handsome but brooding Australian Border Force officer and widower by the name of Ryder. The story of their adventure together took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that kept me on the edge of my seat to the very last sentence. Nothing is lacking in these pages – the plot is tight, the characters are intriguing, the action is jaw-dropping, and the ending is perfect. 5 stars all the way!

I was provided with an advance copy of this book, for which I thank the author, but I am sharing my honest and unbiased review on a completely voluntary basis.

RISKY ATTRACTION was riveting. The thrilling plot was filled with intrigue, suspense, tension, action, evil men accosting, a severe storm, an unsalvageable yacht, circling sharks, an annoying/obnoxious teen, a much-needed rescue, mysterious bodies in a shipping container, an on-foot chase, bullets flying and connecting, hiding in murky water, a confession, a kidnapping, a daring rescue, more evil men, guns a blazing, a hospital encounter, geneology research, bits of humor, a raucous meeting with a mystery person, a surprise birthday party, and falling in love.
Moreover, Ryder and Piper, the protagonists, were soulmates and oozed chemistry. They worked hard to achieve their HEA. Furthermore, I liked the author's vivid descriptions, especially the figurative language such as, "Ryder glared at her so hard it was a wonder his eyes didn’t eject from their sockets," and, "The sharks circling were like guardians of a horrendous secret," or this gem, "The swell had increased again, obscuring the lights from the procession of cruise ships and cargo ships that were a constant conga line at the horizon."
Additionally, I liked the author's writing style: engaging yet flawed characters, captivating settings in Australia, down-to-earth and sometimes levity-filled dialogue, and a fascinating storyline that held my interest throughout.
Overall, I liked the enthralling narrative.

Having read this author before, I requested the ARC when it wet as offered by Hidden Gems. Thought it had an interesting premise and wanted to start reading it from the beginning of this new series. This book starts on the waters off the coast of Australia, when Border Force Captain Ryder Westwood finds a group of highly armed men at the site of a crime boss’ sunken yacht. After loosing a firefight with these men, Ryder and his team rescue widow and single mom, Piper and her teen daughter after they collide with a shipping container that sinks their yacht. As part of their mourning, they have been on a trip around Australia and now have nothing but the clothes on their back.
As Piper and her daughter, Scout are recovering from their ordeal and rebuild their lives, the shadowy figures from the disaster on the water are still lurking. They are living with Ryder and there is a connection and attraction between him and Piper that is undeniable. When Scout is kidnapped to try and get Ryder to drop his investigation, things get more dangerous and he brings in trusted allies. Many of those that help Ryder and Piper are from this author’s prior series and made me want to go back and read those books. There is a lot of action and danger in this story that kept pages turning.

A new start to a series that has ties to previous books with Ryder and Piper as the stars. Both are widowed with some loose ends in their past, Ryder who grieves the loss of his wife and a secret he hasn’t shared with anyone. Piper also lost her husband and is raising her daughter, Scout, alone. When a last ditch effort to connect with her daughter by sailing around Australia, they get caught up in a storm and make a gruesome discovery. Ryder is the one who rescues them and get entangled with a mystery of a shipping container and a past villain who even in death, still haunts everyone.
A good read with plenty of action, some suspense, second chances and good characters. I really liked Ryder and Piper, their grief over losing their spouses and the way they connected. Piper was strong when it came to protecting the ones she loves but a pushover where her daughter was concerned. Scout, I didn’t get or liked, till near the end and the way Piper let her walk all over her….counselling and tough love would have had me respecting Piper as a character more. I did like the flow, the suspense, another mystery and how it all ended….

Kendall Talbot always delivers stories that are a fast-paced, adrenaline rush and filled with romance and suspense. This new series, a spin-off of the Alpha Tactical Ops series, is a fantastic start to what I believe will be another amazing series. The criminal syndicate previously controlled by Mr. Chui isn’t completely vanquished and it impacts Ryder and Piper immediately in this book.

The first few chapters had me on the edge of seat as both main characters are in true peril and the action is super-charged. My attention was completely engaged in the story and a full-on addiction had developed.

The story doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, it has Ryder and Piper happy with big future plans. The Alpha Tactical Ops team along with Ryder and Piper have uncovered some clues, and revealed even more questions to investigate.

The suspense will carry over into the next book featuring two side characters from this first book. I’m eager for more and have book 2 listed on my calendar so I can look for it when it is released.

Romance, Suspense, and Mystery That Is Sure to Keep You on the Edge of Your Seat

Piper and her daughter were on the ocean when a storm hit. Soon, they would be fighting for their lives, and the storm was much less dangerous than the human peril they were about to face. Their yacht struck a shipping container, and that would change their destinies forever. What was a shipping container doing in the middle of the ocean without a ship to carry it?

Ryder was on patrol when a dangerous storm hit. He and his team were fighting ruthless criminals when they received Piper’s call for help. Ryder had no idea how his life would change once he rescued Piper and her daughter.

Ryder and Piper were about to go on a perilous journey, facing the worst of humanity. The mystery and suspense kept me turning the pages. Both Ryder and Piper had a devastating past. Could they let go of what has been and embrace what is to come? Could they begin their healing journey together? With love, anything is possible, but first, they must survive the danger dogging their footsteps. I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to those who like unputdownable, romantic suspense.

Wow, what an amazing story. I LOVED IT and could not put it down. Piper takes her daughter sailing Australia after her husband died to get away from it all. She is a great mom who is trying her best. Scout, Piper's daughter, is perfectly written for someone who lost her dad, and then was taken away from friends on boat with only her mom.  Scout shows great promise because she can be nice to Ryder and to others in the story, even though she sasses her mom. She is just a normal teen taking her sadness and anger out on her mom.

Risky Attraction is so well written that I felt like I was with Piper and Scout during the storm. I felt like I was trying to get onto the container with them, I could feel the scratchy side scraping my arms and could even smell the horrid smell with them.

I also had the vivid image of the other boat shooting at Ryder's boat. The author's words always create such amazing pictures in my mind, in each and every book of hers that I have read.  I can not wait for the next story

Piper should have been making a dream trip around Australia with her husband, Lewis. But Lewis died of ALS, and now Piper is taking the trip as a widow, with her sullen, rebellious daugher, Scout. A huge storm comes up and Piper is valiantly sailing her yacht, The Dreamcatcher, through monstrous waves until the boat hits something, which causes it to sink. Miraculously floating on a cargo container, Piper and Scout, are rescued by the crew of the Australian Border Force ship, Coral Guardian, where she meets the irresistably sexy Ryder Westwood. As Ryder, Piper, and Scout experience danger beyond their anticipation, Ryder and Piper, despite their own heartache, grow into a relationship which could be love. This story is exciting, sexy, and romantic. Whatever you may be looking for in a romantic adventure, you will be sure to find it here in "Risky Attraction." This book will hook you, and you will want to read the next book in the series, as well a the previous tie-in books. I definitely recomment this read. Piper and her daughter Scout are sailing around the northern coast of Australia when a stormy high waves and a shipping container sinks their boat. Their rescue comes from Ryder and his team after their boat is almost destroyed in a confrontation. And this is all within the short start of this amazing storyline. Piper and Ryder have dealt with tragic losses of spouses, depression and more, which brings them closer together. Shootings, kidnapping, support from friends, and interesting investigations keep the pages turning and your tension level high. Lots of drama, entertaining situations, daredevil stunts, surprises, deep feelings they thought would never come again, visuals that may give you nightmares but also beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Loved the characters and how they all work together adding pieces to the bigger puzzle - that is not over yet. Great ending but wished it hadn't stopped. Please hurry with the next book.

I'm just loving this series. I didn't realize it would have a link to the missing gold in previous books. Piper was sailing on her yacht with her reluctant teenage daughter who was mad at the world since her father died. They got in a storm and hit a metal cargo box in the middle of the ocean. Their boat broke up and they lost everything. They managed to climb on top of this metal box and hope for rescue. Ryder is the captain of the border Force and rescues them but not before their boat gets shot up by someone trying to get something off of the Chinese criminal's boat than sank last year
The story kept me entertained and I had trouble putting it down. There was lots of drama, some heartbreaking scenes and more mystery. A little romance was thrown in also. A very good story. Keep them coming.

Our hero and heroine both have tragedy in their pasts and are not looking for new connections. But when trouble calls, they find they are going to have to rely on each other to get through it. And that just might be the start of something better for both of them.

This is book 1 of the series, so no issues there.

This is a romantic suspense story with something of a military theme. The story is well written and easy to read with a fast moving plot that has more than its share of complications for our hero and heroine. The characters are well developed and have a lot of depth to them, including some things that they are going to have to work through. Fortunately, there is plenty of action to keep things focused and the chemistry between our characters is fun to watch. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable story and I look forward to more from our author.

Highly recommended.

This new series starts with a bang and this first story grabs your attention from the first page to the last.
This story belongs to Ryder Westwood, a widower, captain of the Australian Border Force and Piper Harrison, widowed single mom of teenage Scout as well as the yacht skipper of the vessel that is sinking . Thanks to Ryder, they are rescued.
From that moment on, this becomes an action packed story that will keep you on the edge of your seats and makes you wonder if they will survive the enemy.
But the action is not the only prominent subject. The emotions of the tragedy these characters have endured, with touch your hearts.
At times heartbreaking, it’s also heartwarming. Leaving this reader anxiously waiting for the next story in the series.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Standalone in an interconnected series so you don't have to read the other books but it just adds to the reading pleasure if you do and helps with connecting the overarching mystery and the various characters. This one doved right in with the danger and mystery which doesn't look like it's getting solved anytime soon and has me curious for the next one! Story also deals with loss of a loved one and finding love again which was emotional and sweet but loved Ryder and Piper together. Scout was a selfish brat and really needed to be disciplined but she does redeem herself somewhat and finally apologises and appreciates her mum. The ending was really heartfelt and had me smiling.

Risky Attraction the first book in the new Wolf Security series by Kendall Talbot is slow burn romance of two wounded souls. As the story begins, Piper and her teenage daughter have been sailing around the Australian coast. Ryder Westwood, a Border Force Captain is part of the rescue of their ship. However, danger is still chasing these characters. A despicable underworld is discovered and they must fight for their lives as well as justice to be served.

This new series has the help of the characters from the Alpha Tactical Ops Heroes Series coming to the aid. I like that they were able to assist. The action and suspense are top notch with twists and turns in the plot. The slow burn romance is also on target with Piper and especially Ryder needing to come to terms with their losses before that are ready to seek more.

Recommend to all romance suspense readers.

I loved to meet the members of Alpha Tactical Ops again! Reading the book felt like visiting a loved family, with the added bonus of romance and action.

This time Kendall's female hero is a mother of a stubborn teenager, which adds an interesting perspective to the story. We get to see how the difficult relationship between mother and daughter gets stronger through their adventure. I am not a mother myself, but I loved to see this perspective.

What I love about Kendall's female heros is that they stay so ... "female". Instead of adapting male behaviors they use their female strengths to master their challenges. That's an inspiration for every woman.

It was a great start of a new series and I cannot wait for it to continue!.

This book gets your adrenaline going from the start. It feels like you are thrown into an action movie and the scenes are so well described that I was almost hyperventilating reading some of them! It is a real page turner as you get sucked into the mystery to solve. The emotional side of the main characters is conveyed so well, I could feel their despair and sadness when anything from their past was brought up. Slow burn romance is not always my thing as I want to shout at the characters to get it on already but this was actually perfect for Piper and Ryder.
This book was a prefect blend of action thriller and romance. Can't wait for the next one in the series!!.

I absolutely loved this book! I have read all of the Tactical Ops books, and I love that Kendall includes them in these spin-off books for Wolf Security.
This book was amazing, and it had me reading it when I should have been doing other things like working, and sleeping! I loved Piper and Ryder's story, and their growing attraction. I could do with a Ryder in my life lol
Scout well, she annoyed the hell out of me when I first started reading it, and when she shut herself in her bedroom I felt for Piper. Thankfully that got turned around. I loved the ending I thought it was perfect.
I am so looking forward to the next book in this series, and I hope it won't be too much of a wait.

So this is a spin off from the Alpha Tactical Ops series. Many familiar names come in to play. The bad guy is still Chui, somehow even in death his activities have caused disruption in Australia. When Piper and her daughter have trouble on the water, it’s assumed to be due to Chui. Ryder is the one to come to the rescue and over the course of about 10 days their lives turn upside down. There is never a dull moment in this book between teenager hormones, many tough situations and sexual tension off the charts. You’ll get more out of this book, and probably the series, if you’ve read the other series but you’ll still get a lot out of enjoyment from the boom if this is your first one. I got to read early copy given from the author and this review is given voluntarily.

This book really held me captivated from start to finish.

When Piper's daughter is kidnapped, she is forced to team up with Ryder and an alpha Tactical team to get her back.

These two are explosive but so was the action and drama that went into the story. Kendall Talbot knows how to bring it and totally sweeps you up in the action.

The connection between Piper and Ryder was so good and interesting but held it back because her daughter was taken. They really worked well together and you can't help but pull for their success.

So well done with an amazing plot and characters I want to know more about. Great work!!.

The pace is hot with this on from the get go not only for Ryder but also Piper and Scout and unfortunately for them danger continues to lurk along with be up close and personal.
At times I admit Scout drove me nuts and I am surprised Piper didn't lose it at her more than once whilst Ryder was great to help calm things although he is a bit of a tortured soul. Learning not only what happened to Pipers husband but also Ryders wife was terrible and I am not surprised Ryder is haunted by what happened.
I loved meeting new friends as well as seeing old ones from Tactical Ops and can not wait for the next in the series!!.

What an amazing story. Ryder is a widower, and captain of the Australian Border Force. Piper is a widowed single mother of a teenage daughter and yacht skipper of the vessel they are on and the boat is sinking. Ryder is at the right place to rescue them. Now the story picks up with plenty of action that will keep you reading to see if they survive the enemy. There is another part of the story and that's the heartache that the characters have endured. They spend quality time together which leads to romance and Piper and Ryder falling for each other. I loved that their story brings them together and time to heal.

Wow. I enjoyed the build up of the story and relationship between Ryder and Piper. The interaction between Piper and Scout highlighted the challenges with a teenager and coping with grief.

Looking forward to the next book to find out what happens next.

It can be read as a standalone. Although there are references to events/characters in previous book, there is a small background references when this happens to follow how everything is interlinked. If you haven't read the previous books could mean some spoilers for the outcome of the previous series.

This book grabbed me from page 1 until the last page. I couldn't put it down. Piper, a widow and with her teenage daughter are sailing around Australia when they hit something and capsize. This starts a whole chain of events. Ryder, a Border Force Captain rescues them after his ship was shot at. There are kidnappings, gun fights, fist fights and a very strong attraction between Piper and Ryder. Alpha Tactical Ops, with the familiar characters we love to read about, help Piper and Ryder and continue to try to solve the puzzle with the missing gold. Definitely recommend this new Wolf Security Series.

Piper and her daughter are sailing around Australia. Their boat hits something and it takes in water and starts to sink. They swim to a floating shipping container that they are able to climb onto. Ryder from the Border Force rescues them. Without any money or identity, Piper cannot get access to money in her bank account. Ryder takes them into his house. An investigation into the contents of the shipping container and a sunken yacht, brings danger to the three of them. A lot of action and some romance as Ryder and Piper fall for each other. A novel that captures your attention from the beginning.
