What an Ending!!!
I usually don’t start with the ending of a book but I have to say that my jaw hit the floor when reading the epilogue. What a show stopper!
This whole book was a one sit read for me because it had so many things happening. I loved the opposites attract with the Prez for the RBMC Knoxville, TN Chapter and a second-grade teacher, who was also a mother. The time that Knox took in getting Eliza to give him a chance was amazing. I loved watching their love grown.
This book had plenty of action especially when there was a murder that had occurred and Knox and Eliza had to work together in order to clear themselves. After this ending I can’t wait to read Rocky’s book!!

This is a well written book with strong characters in Knox and Eliza. The author does a great job developing the story and paints her scenes perfectly. She takes you into their lives with an instant attraction and chemistry. She kept me turning the pages with their past troubles and overcoming them as well as all the twists and turns along the way. She moves the story fluidly and delivers a terrific read. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Knox is the President of the Knoxville, TN Royal Bastards and has always ridden alone. Eliza is a second grade Teacher and the mother of Emma. When Knox meets Eliza he is rather infatuated with her, and wants to get to know her and her daughter. When things turn bad, will they stand together? This book was so good that I couldn't put it down and I just wanted more. Morgan Jane Mitchell is such a great author that her books make you feel like you are a participant in the story. .

This story was epic and with a twist that I was not what at all. Eliza and Knox are perfect for each other. The drama, action, intrigued, and steamy with a twist have just made this book one of my favorites in the RBMC saga.

Hard Knox by Morgan Jane Mitchell is the first installment in this new RBMC- Tennessee series with a paranormal ending. The story focus on the love at first sight romance between Knox, President of the Knoxville, TN RBMC and Eliza a elementary school teacher and mother of a small child. Their journey will be a slow burn, full of secrets, lies , jealousy and vengeance. Knox's life is his club and brothers , he lives on the wild side but is a loner at times. When he encounters curvy, beautiful Eliza at a club charity function, the chemistry is instantaneous. All Knox knows is that he wants this woman but can they begin a relationship with their different lifestyles? Can the bad guy win the good girl? Will he ever be able to tell her about his past and his secret?
Eliza is a caring person who is trying to start over raising her child when she left her abusive husband Mark. When she starts flirting with Knox, is she willing to let her guard down and give in to the chemistry that is between them or will her fear of him being the President of the RBMC hold her back? It was okay, I just didn't connect with the characters much for some reason.
Eliza is a elementary school teacher, has a 4 year old daughter, doesn't cuss, very "miss marm" personality (kind of sheltered and stuck up). She's had a rough past though, her ex husband used to cheat on her and abuse her in every which way. He was also a gambler and alcoholic. She's also mentioned as curvy, then fat, then overweight, then the fat kid in school.
Knox is the President of his MC, not a 1% club, never graduated high school and has a very checkered path. He's instantly drawn to Eliza and chases her honestly more than he should. He thinks he's not good enough or educated enough for Eliza but wants her in the worst way. He's older and finally wants to settle down.
About 50% of the book is them dancing around each other. She's wary of the club, the club lifestyle, the club whores and worried about her image as a schoolteacher dating "riff raff."
Finally they have a steamy night of passion. The next day her crazy ex shows up, tries to punch Knox and they end up fighting in Eliza's front yard. She freaks out because of the violence at Knox (but not her psycho ex who used to beat her?) and ghosts him.
A few weeks later her ex ends up dead and Knox is blamed and arrested. We get a wild 180 of Eliza who dumps her daughter with her ex's mother (grandma) for weeks to be by Knox's side and do their own investigation to clear his name.
Shenanigans happen (false information, bribing of cops, an ex that comes back to life, a fake death, a kidnapping) and then a happily ever after.
Even odder? At the very, very end of the book Knox admits he's a fox shifter. Uhhhhhhh the fuck? There's zero and I mean zero hints of this book even being a little bit paranormal until the end. He figures he should tell her that she'll turn into a fox shifter because he bit her during sex, she's pregnant with a shifter baby but her daughter will just be a normal. Like smack out of the blue and so unnecessary.
Entertaining but middle of the road characters, oh hum romance and plot.

This is book one in The Royal Bastards MC : Knoxville TN series and it is Knox and Eliza’s story. Eliza is a school teacher and also a single mom to her daughter Emma after going through a very difficult and messy divorce and now she is just trying to move forward with her life after everything that she had gone through but what she wasn’t expecting was to meet Knox and have a attraction to him especially after everything that had happened recently. Knox is the president of the MC in Knoxville and lives his life alongside his brothers and he is also a bit of a loner but when he meets Eliza in a unusual way and is so attracted to her he realised that he definitely wanted to get to know her which is really unusual for him. Even though Eliza and Knox are the total opposite in every single way they just seem to jell together and there chemistry and connection is so strong and just when things seem to be going well between them Eliza’s ex husband turns up dead and it is Knox that is the prime suspect which is causing Eliza to question everything even though she knows in her heart that Knox didn’t do it so now it is a race against time to not only find the person responsible but also clear Knox’s name and get the woman that means the world to him and he will definitely do everything possible regardless of the situation because he wants a future with her. Wow this book certainly takes you on a journey of twists and turns that will have you turning the pages and also unable to put this book down because you need to see what the outcome will be for Eliza and Knox and if they get the happy ending that they both want and deserve. I can’t wait to read the next book in this addictive and action packed series.

Quite a change from the Nashville Chapter of the RBMC. It’s one reason I love the RBMC books. Each chapter has their own story to tell, but they are a family when it comes down to it. No matter what city or state they live in, if a chapter needs back up or help with anything they can contact another chapter and get the help.
Knox, the president of the Knoxville Chapter of the RBMC is helping his community at a charity event when he mistakenly soaks a teacher with the water hose. Instead of her getting angry at him she gives him a chance to make up for his mistake, but circumstances make them have to wait.
Eliza is a single mom and teacher that is trying to raise her daughter on her own and keep them both safe. She knows there are huge differences between her and Knox, but as she begins to let him into her life she begins to see they may work. She cautious she has a little girl and a not so great ex, but she can see how they could fit if they work at it.
When danger rears its head, and Knox finds himself in trouble with the law, Eliza pulls back and puts her walls back up until Knox pleads his case that he is innocent. Eliza finds that she wants to help Knox find the truth, but more danger and surprises find them.
A great start of a new chapter with great characters and many surprises in store. I can’t wait to read more of this chapter and these characters.

Outstanding start to another RBMC chapter, this one being in Knoxville, Tennessee. Ms Mitchell gave us readers an amazing storyline while letting us meet the brothers that make up the MC. Knox is the prez and carries a heavy load. Like most chapter Prez’s his club and MC brothers are his number one priority. But when he meets a curvy single mom school teacher, totally by accident, something inside him shifts. Knox is determined to show her he is a good man at heart and wants to be there for her and her little girl. But when her past comes calling and Knox is blamed for things he didn’t do, can he keep his woman safe or will he need to step aside.
The storyline has a few shocking twists and turns that will have you clamoring for more. At least it did me. I highly recommend getting in on the ground floor by grabbing up book 1 of the RBMC, Knoxville and reading Knox’s story.

This is the first book in the Royal Bastards MC: Knoxville, series. Knox is helping the guys with a charity bike wash when he sees her. It all seems to happen in slow motion, the hose has drenched her. There is something about her, he wants to know more. She is a local school teacher and a single mom. It takes him time to get her to go out with him, he is willing to take it as slow as she needs.

Knox is the hunky, broody, burly, and inked president of the Royal Bastards MC. Eliza is a sweet, sassy, and curvy single mom and teacher who is rebuilding after a nasty divorce. When Knox sees Eliza at a charity event, he is taken with her. She is still trying to protect herself and her daughter but is attracted to Knox, too. When her ex is found dead and Knox is the main suspect, will they work together? The chemistry was hot, and we got a happy ending after the emotional roller coaster of drama. This was my first book by this author but not the last.

Loved this book and I could not put it down. The characters give a slightly old fashion vibe,with how Eliza brought out the best of Knox.
Elizabeth and Knox have instant attraction, and Knox just wants a little fun, but Eliza makes him slow down, and latterly court her.
Knox was knocked on his rump when he met Eliza, he knows they are from different worlds ,but to him it’s worth giving them a chance.
When her past comes back and tries to cause problems, they find a way to try to work around it. When her past fakes his death, and Knox is blamed, they work and find out he was in deep debt.
In the end everything works out for them and they make it work in both worlds, but a twist at the end is something I did not see coming, but should have with the hints being dropped.

dry slow and choppy spoilers!
Starts off very slow and dry, the more you read, you realize the sentences are choppy and not smooth to read. Knox gets arrested twice, so was the ex working with the police? The police ignored the evidence and Emma at the house…If the ex isn’t dead who was the man the police found? What proof did they have it was Mark? Who attacked the safe house of Knox and fired shots? Way to many unanswered questions. For the price of this book $6 the readers expect a much better quality book. Will not be reading more of this author’s RBMC series. A waste of good money for the quality

I can’t talk much about it or the PNR aspects without giving spoilers, but I will say that Knox is accused of the murder of Eliza’s ex husband, and things didn’t look good for him. I enjoyed this book and would give it 4.5 stars. It’s not perfect, but it’s very entertaining.

This is book 1 of a brand new chapter of Royal Bastards MC in Knoxville, TN. Knox is the President of the Knoxville, TN Royal Bastards and Eliza is a second grade teacher and a mother. The romance is seductive and intense; the storyline is complex and the characters are engaging and dynamic. The author does a great job developing the story and paints her scenes perfectly. Many twists and turns in this story made it hard to put down. This is a phenomenal start to a new series of the Royal Bastards MC. I'm looking forward to the next book and following this series.

This was an interesting read. I loved the fact that these characters took time to get to know each other. Knox you are a good man despite what you had done in your past. Eliza thank you for taking your time to analyze everything including going straight to the source before making rash decisions. I wish more people would do that, including myself at times. Knox you sly fox leaving a big secret till then end was good.

Fun story with a surprise twist or two!
Had a great time reading this. Quick read, and I found myself surprised by both of the major twists in the story, especially the last one. I liked the chemistry between Eliza and Fox, although I feel like Eliza gave in too easily when her morals and values were challenged. Always love a protective bad boy, and Fox was fairly well developed with his backstory. Caught a few spelling/punctuation/grammar errors along the way, which is always a bummer. I am looking forward to reading more in the series as they are released!

A new chapter for the RBMC and it doesn't disappoint. I was hooked from page one. Knox and Eliza are perfection. Their story is a rollercoaster of a ride. For them to get their HEA they'll have to get over those bumps that pop up. I loved that they were opposites, the way they connected, and the protectiveness they each had. I also liked the suspense, action, surprises and twists. This book is amazing and a must read.

The heat between Knox and Eliza was awesome. I love the way they first met to how they grew close as they have different lifestyles. The drama from Eliza's ex just adds more intenseness with the way Knox tries to be as protective as he can with Eliza and her daughter. It was also great seeing how the club mixed in with the story and getting to know more of them.
