Better than the second book. Maybe because I skipped over the detailed stuff about guns and ammunition that didn’t make a bit of difference. This story line was more believable.

This book had one of the stupidest plots I've ever read, and yet I read every word.

Great old series.

It has been almost 40 years since I read the first two books in this series. I am glad I have found the following books. They are great.

The world-wide loss of jet power which makes up the background of the series cripples the 1st world's military might in this interesting alternate reality series. Peter Albano makes good use of this plot device to write a look into what the world might be like if petty dictators like Muammar el-Qaddafi.

He did one more book under a different name. And I don't remember the name.
