Erin Nicholas is the New York Times bestselling author of over sixty sexy contemporary romances. Her stories have been described as toe-curling, enchanting, steamy and fun.
She lives in the Midwest with her husband who only wants to read the sex scenes in her books, her kids who will never read the sex scenes in her books, and family and friends who say they’re shocked by the sex scenes in her books (yeah, right!).
I feel like I would have liked this book a lot more had it been in 1st person. I’ve found that I tend to struggle with the 3rd person POV. I find it harder to really connect with the characters. I feel like there were a lot of repetitive thoughts. I didn’t dislike it, but it also wasn’t one of my favorite reads of the year.
This was so meh. Def not rated R. The blurb for the first story gave it away and I started to worry about this woman who, apparently, couldn't recognize her own husband. I honestly don't remember much of it. The next story was about a woman. There were goats with reindeer horns? I skipped to the end and, again, didn't impress me. So I gave up. Other books to read.
The stories for me didn't click with me. They were all in 3rd person, so connecting with the characters is harder, and they were boring. They were cute Christmas books and had the vibes with spice. I may not have been a fan, but I'm sure others would love it.
