I thought my high school bullies were behind me... How wrong I was. Now they've become scandalous temptations... And they're willing to share. Matt, Jake, and Aaron ensured my high school experience was hell. They pushed me to the edge until I had no choice but to run. After transferring and completing high school far away from the cruel trio, I'm on my way to becoming the best person and nurse I can be. When the trio shows up on my campus, everything goes to shit. The three might've fooled everyone into thinking they're the saviors, but I know they're up to their old tricks. But the more time I'm forced to spend with them, the more I see that they've changed. My heart says I can trust them. My soul wants all three. Is it possible to put my past behind me and surrender myself to my three men? They need to remember that I'm not the weak girl I used to be. I refuse to run. I'll face the trio this time and bring them down to their knees.

So you’re telling me that these three boys bullied you to the point where you almost killed yourself, you fully attempted suicide and had to be revised – and you see them years later and the first thing you do is hook up with one of them?
I was looking for a good grovel. A legit. I’m sorry. Grovel. No. This book is NOT IT. Wow. Only one of them says sorry and the other goes on a date with her ROOMMMATE and then the FMC hooks up with him. The last one is horrible STILL and she’s fine with it. Ugghhhh. Bully romance is hard for me to like already but if done well - with REAL grovel. It’s fine. This one had NONE. 🙄 Pass. Just. Hard pass.
This was really unbelievable for me. So she was bullied to the point of suicide and then had a radical beauty transformation and all of a sudden her former bullies now want her and she's okay with that?? In what freaking world? I tried to suspend disbelief but the characters had zero chemistry with eachother and just jumped at the chance to bang for the sake of banging and complicating things. Also, they're--what--22 years old? Why are they acting like they are in middle school where getting asked out on a single date makes you someone's exclusive girlfriend or boyfriend--this is college. People tend to go out with lots of people and hook up with lots of people. But no--we have people putting up smear campaign fliers after feeling jilted and calling each other "girlfriend" "boyfriend" and "baby" after not even a hook up. And these guys are like "CAPTAIN OF THE FOOTBALL TEAM" popular. I just felt this was poorly written and researched.
This one you got high school bullies who have grown up and no longer the same bullies but sexy and the one girl who drove them crazy. Matt, Derek, Aaron three sexy as all get out bullies in high school, they drove the one girl they bullied to nearly commit suicide and forcing her to leave school all together, Renee struggled in high school at the hands of three boys leaving school to keep her sanity, and life to be honest. Fast forward to today she is in college for nursing and who walk in other than her three bullies but just as she has grown but so have, they. The problem is when you are bullied that is all the person who you bullied see you as a bully but the question is have they really changed I mean they are sexy as all get out she is learning to understand them a little better but is forgiveness, will they show her that they have changed, will she understand why they bullied her of all people, can they help her understand, and is can they find some type of friendship maybe even something more than friendship?.

First things first... it's pretty cool my name is in this book! Anyways, this book hit a little close to home for things I went through in HS. But I'm so happy that our FMC came out on top and is going to college to become a nurse!
Her awful bullies from high school Matt, Jake & Aaron have arrived at her college. She thought after she left their old high school she was done with them. She has become a stronger person since her high school days, and she won't be pushed around anymore.
I will say that I wish the guys had to grovel more, Renee was driven to nearly comm1t su1c1de, and forced her to leave the school. She struggled in that high school solely due to these guys, she left and was able to finish school else where.
When the guys come back people fawn over them, she doesn't know if she can trust them. THIS is where I wish the guys groveled, but we do see their POV which helps some. I do like that we see their friendship and how they've been over the years too.
It's a great stand-alone, I also loved the multi POV, and being introduced to an amazing author!
Scandalous is another great story set at/around the Eagle River University. I was however a little disappointed that none of the characters from Foul Ball (the first Eagle River University book) were in this one. There were some characters from the Police and Fire series - but only very briefly. This one is more a standalone just set in the same location rather than having interconnecting characters.
That said, the story was a great tale about Renee and her 3 high school bullies - Matt, Aaron and Jake. Thrown is some fun side characters, in particular Renee's best friend and roommate Jami, and we get a great story. The book was told in alternating viewpoints so it was great to get the boys side of things and learn more about them - after they had been so horrible to Renee in high school. I liked the friendship between the boys - they stuck with each other despite disagreeing with some things the others did.
In the book Scandalous by Amber Kuhlman we meet up with four college students: Renee, Aaron, Jake and Matt. These four knew each other in high school and unfortunately the circumstances were not the most pleasant. So due to a bad history Renee is not pleased to have these 3 men in the same college as her. These four unfortunately keep bumping into each other and even have the same class together. Renee is worried that they will bully her again but is also struggling with her new found feeling for the three men. This was a quick read. Each chapter is told from a different character’s POV which made it pleasant for me. I like to know what the other characters are thinking and feeling. This was an enjoyable reverse harem. I enjoyed the story. The mating is very tame if your looking for spicy this is not your book. But the story is enjoyable.
Do My Highschool Bullies Deserve To Be A Part Of My Future?
I absolutely loved reading this book. I really enjoyed how the author delved into the lives of Renee, Matt, Jake & Aaron combing both the past & the present. Renee's high-school days were made a living hell by Matt, Jake & Aaron & seeing them now at University stirs up many emotions in Renee. Seeing a change in them Renee is at war internally - in the past they caused her unimaginable grief & now she desires all three of them. If she surrenders herself to all three will her heart shatter or is there a chance for a HEA? An awesome, well written book. Looking forward to more from the author.

So to begin with I am not usually a fan of bullies to lovers tyoe romance, but this story is a little different. The bullying takes place well before this story, leaving time for all of the protagonists to grow (up). Renée struggled through high school and has known a suicide attempt thanls to the boys, they meet up years later at college. All of the characters have grown/ changed. I did like that all of the bullies were well developped characters with motivation explained. As a result, the story flows well, and while I found myself rooting for Renée, I could also get behind the boys which was unexpected. Good fast paced read.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Renee, Matt, Aaron and Jake. The guys were massive jerks and bullies in high school to Renee. She had a hard time with them, so much so, she moved away. Now she's in her senior year at college and find herself face to face with the three guys who made her life hell. They guys all have changed but one mistake leaves them all worked up again. But they realize they want to win her over.

I liked the story. I felt that the female lead was a bit of a shallow character and I couldn't wrap my head around her. She had some severe trauma caused by the male leads but still wanted them? I felt she did more romancing them then she did healing from them. I think the male leads had more depth to them. The whole story was sweet and despite my irritation with the female lead I enjoyed the story. I loved her best friend Jami she was the only reasonable person in this universe.

Renee was bullied by Matt, Aaron, and Jake in high school. After a bad night she left school and went online. Year later she decided to take in person classes in college and she runs into her three nightmares.
While plotting her revenge she gets caught up in her weird lust for her ex bullies and learns there is more to her ex bullies then she thought. With a mess to clean up maybe just maybe a little scandal will get her to her happiness. Great book fast paced and no cliffhanger.

A short read with a lot of spice! What happens when the bullies that you barely survived in High School are still also the guys you crush on, but now in college you've turned into a swan that they all are into as well? Do you take revenge on them or just take them? A reverse harem with a HEA to spice up your dark night reading! It was entertaining and a fun read that didn't take much time to devour. Looks like the author is also getting ready to launch a book 2 in this series later this year so I'll probably watch out for that to see if the steam stays on point!
New author for me, and I am blown away with this read. A truly complex storyline that begins in high school with bullies, angst, depression and one unforgettable experience. Moving forward to college with getting on in life and your past has a visit only there’s more to it than what is first revealed. Loved how the characters have grown, yet still hard to get over the past when betrayal, jealousy works in the mix. Enjoyed how this all comes full circle and true feelings are explained and new beginnings come to light.

I thought this was such an intense read. I really sympathize with Renee and so felt badly for her. And when Matt, Jake and Aaron entered the picture, I wasn't sure what to expect. I liked that fact that Renee was so much more confident in some ways and hoped that these boys grew up. I found this story was entertaining though it did touch on some really tough topics.

I had started reading this on Kindle Vella, but it disappeared before it was completed. I bought the book because I thought there would be more story to tell. The end of the story felt very rushed, and all the relationships and deep feelings seemed to build up out of nowhere. I think the story had a lot of potential, but kind of fell flat for me. It was enjoyable, but didn't leave a lasting impression.
i really liked this book series it was really good and it was very well written and it caught my attention from the start… i love how the series started… i liked the plot… i really liked the twist and turns in the series… i loved the Caracters
I’m looking forward to see what amber kuhlman comes up with in the future
Definitely a page turner...I originally found the story on kindle Vella but was so pleasantly surprised to find the rest of the story in novel form! Steamy, hot, sweet, seductive, and everything all wrapped up in one! I couldn't put it down!
I just didn’t like this. He 3 He’s had made the h so miserable in HS…yet she is the guilty party when she hurts two of them in college??? And I didn’t like that the author really ‘sl*t shamed the heroine… I’m sorry I bought this…
This is a fast paced read with strong characters and is a story of bullying and revenge turned to romance. It's an interesting story with descriptive scenes.

I really liked this book! For a reverse harem, the characters were written pretty realistically, without feeling ‘forced’. I really couldn’t stop myself from turning over page after page! An overall great read :)
