Pretending to be a hot hockey player’s girlfriend shouldn’t be a problem.

Except when that player is my brother’s teammate, Foster Craig, with the body of a god and a British accent that melts the panties straight off my lady bits. Did I mention that I might have a teeny crush on him?

But after a picture of an accidental kiss goes viral, he makes an offer I’d be hard pressed to refuse. A few dates in exchange for a lot of money. It seems harmless enough. And besides, I have a dead car, a baby to take care of, and a romance novel to write.

I just have to remember--No. More. Hockey. Players. Especially one who scores more off the ice than on.

Even if he comes to my rescue after my car breaks down. Or attempts to make me a cake for my birthday. Or dances with my two month old son when he thinks I’m not watching. I'm trying to resist him, but when he offers to help me test out "positions" for the novel I'm writing, things get a little… complicated. (And I’m not just talking about the Reverse Wheel Barrow with a Corkscrew Twist.)

And I find myself breaking my rules one by one.

If I take my heart out of the penalty box, am I going to end up being checked by yet another player?

Foster Craig, the British playboy on the Nashville Devils is singularly focused. When his future with the team he loves is up in the air, he’ll do anything to solidify his standing.

With no danger of falling in love, letting the public think he’s cleaning up his reputation should be a piece of cake. That is until he realizes he’s no match for Avery and Mason Remington.

I jumped into this series with this book and can’t wait to go back and meet Foster’s teammates. Melissa brought the perfect balance of plot, angst, growth, and steam.

⛔⛔ Spoilery review below

I love me a hockey romance, but I just don't think this author is for me 🤷🏻‍♀️. The beginning was filled with one liners, albeit some of them pretty funny, and it felt like the story just checked a lot of boxes. Evil ex, overbearing big bros, new guy with terminator D.. But I just wasn't connecting with any of it. Was able to get into it a bit in the middle, but then the ending was super disappointing for me. He does his total screwup, but his grovel is basically a one minute monologue with a grand gesture of him buying a home for them to move in together 🙄. After he broke up and verbally eviscerated her. Maybe I'm just salty this morning, but this just didn't work for me.

ARC Review -

I received this book as an ARC without having read the others ones in the series. While not entirely necessary, I recommend reading the others before reading this one! I think I did myself a disservice there because I missed out on quite a bit of backstory, especially with Avery and Foster.

I think because I missed a lot of the backstory, I had a hard time connecting with the MCs. I wasn’t sold for the first little bit of the book, but things really started to pick up when Avery and Foster decided to “get to know” each other.

I’m usually not a fan of the single-parent trope, but this was cute! Being a mom myself, I appreciated Foster stepping up and taking to the role naturally. One thing that really bothered me was the constant mention of Avery’s postpartum body. While Foster was constantly praising her, it just felt so unnecessary for him to keep mentioning her “new curves” and “new found breasts”. I also felt like Avery was too self-deprecating about her body and it made me feel like having curves was a bad thing? I get she’s probably insecure (believe me, I really do) but it was disheartening to see the discussion of a woman’s natural body viewed in such a negative light. At one point, Avery talks about how “a buff athlete like Foster could never love a chubby single mom like me”.

This is gonna be a super unpopular opinion, but I also wasn’t a fan of Gloria! I know, I know… I just found her unnecessarily crude (not that I don’t mind a good dirty joke here and there), but pretty much every single piece of dialogue she had was a dirty innuendo or reference to a guys junk.

Overall, the book was light and fun! The pacing was fast and the banter between (most of) the characters was funny. If you’re looking for a quick escape, this book is a good start!

So I knew Melissa Ivers could do snark, sass, and steam, but holy hell did she up the freaking SWOON in this one! I don't think I need to say more than a hot athlete cradling a baby but I'm going to go for it anyway. Foster does all the things that make you fantasize about being a hockey star's girlfriend. Seriously, all the sweet things we dream about. Add in the belly laughs I got from the banter between players and the unwitting shenanigans and a hysterical geriatric neighbor with an affinity for naughty sweaters and you've got yourself another Ivers hat trick! These books don't disappoint with the perfect blend of humor, steam and chemistry and I'm chomping at the bit for the next one, and the one after that...

British Snake Charmer

Oh, I knew Foster "British Stumpet" Craig was funny and entertaining, but getting his story was better than I expected. "Long, thick, and studded all along the underside" and his baby whisper skills give him extra credit. *swoon*

I do feel for Avery "Baby Remie" Remington. And I'm not just talking about her abusive father or he ex putting her down for her writing and reading. She's already had a kid and Foster is the only one to get a taste? Seriously? No woman should go without that from every person who rounds third.

I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t thinking. Not in the slightest. After she got out of that damn car, all I could see were her breasts.
-- Foster Craig

Avery's neighbor, Gloria, is absolutely hilarious! She nearly made me blush. 🤣 The shirts and sweaters she finds are awesome and her take on life is the thing life goals are made of!

This is nearly a 4.5, maybe even a 5, but the third act breakup isn't something that I wanted on my dance card today. Even though it's how every book in this series has gone, I didn't think much of it when I picked this up. Once I get to it, well, it honestly annoys me. The line of no return is crossed in my eyes, and I lose interest in the ending. Up to that point, I was loving their story.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Phillipa Miller and James Cortes. The British accent is VERY enjoyable. I like Phillipa, too. 🎧🩵🎧

Title: Dirty Devil (Nashville Devils Book 4)
Author: Melissa Ivers
Hero/Heroine: Foster & Avery
Tropes: Fake Dating, Single Parent, Hockey Romance,

TW/CW: Domestic abuse (from childhood), death of a parent, alcoholism,

THE GOOD 😀

Foster. Bloody. Craig. Probably the best fictional thing to come out of Britain since… since… I can’t even come up with anything, the bloke has left me speechless. In a good way.

Well known playboy and love ‘em and leave ‘em type, Foster finds himself in a situation where he has to clean up the mess left behind by his former agent. And what better way to do that than to start a fake relationship with his teammates sister, Avery. Avery, independent single mom and all round queen, has harboured a small crush on Foster for a while now, however is reluctant to get close to another hockey player. Which will prove to be tough when a picture of her and Foster goes viral and everyone already assumes they’re in a relationship. This is pure fake dating perfection and I couldn’t get enough.

Foster and Avery were both incredible characters with their fair share of personal baggage. Abusive and absent parents aside, they found themselves drawn to one another and their chemistry was incredible. Also, a shirtless Foster cradling Avery’s son whilst singing Ed Sheeran to him? I waved goodbye to my feminism as it made a swift exit out the nearest window. I loved the fact that the author wrote the Britishness (is that a word?) of Foster so well, even down to the insults (twat is also my favourite insult to use as well). I just couldn’t get enough of this wonderful pairing, and I was hoping Foster would pull his head out of his arse long enough to realise what was in front of him.

An incredible trope filled story that I could not put down (eventually put my kindle down just before 1am this morning, that’s going to be fun come Monday morning when I can’t get out of bed). Also, Gloria needs a statue resurrected in her honour. She was friggin hilarious.

THE BAD ☹️

Ron. What a massive nobhead. Into the bin he goes.

Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy of this to read. This is my honest review.

Dirty Devil (ARC review)

I will say it every time, this series have my heart and I devoured the book of my favourite hockey boy. Foster had captured my heart every since he appeared in the series. He was my English man and I just couldn't wait for his book. This book definitely didn't disappoint. Avery and Foster were meant to be, the love and passion they shared was over the top. Foster is a dirty mouthed Devil in the room and I couldn't get enough of him. Watching Avery open up to him and let him be there for her was what I wanted for them since I saw them interacting. Foster had this whole playboy behavior but for Avery he would do anything. Avery is the sweetest mum, always there for her little boy and never regretting all the hardships she went through for that little boy. Foster's bond with little Mason was so cute, I couldn't get enough of this huge ass man cradling and playing with a baby. Foster wanted to be in both of their lives and he proved that with his actions. I may have to admit that I also wanted to slap Foster after certain circumstances but that man would never hurt Avery without hurting himself. Tbeir steamy scenes were FREAKING EVERYTHING. That man had his woman's pleasure as his top priority and let me tell you he never backed down from that.Their love blossomed so beautifully. They have their perfect little family and finally Foster and Avery gained the love they deserved.

Foster Craig, the player with two first names, is exactly what you would think of when it comes to cocky hockey players and yet he also comes with loyalty, humor, and a lot of charm that you fall in love with. When it comes to playing the field he was the number guy and now with his career on the line it’s time to show the world and the new manager that he can be on the straight and narrow, but he still swears love isn’t in the cards for him. Avery is an amazing mother, smart woman, and she has her own insecurities that are relatable and enduring. While trying to figure out her next steps in life, while having so many things go wrong from simple car breakdowns to career paths to take, she always puts Mason first. The friendship that Foster and Avery share is an easy one with a slight bit of tension that bleeds through from time to time and when he needs her help she can’t help but be there for him. The more time they have together the more the lines are blurred and feelings are becoming real, but when push comes to shove and their feelings smack them in the face will Avery risk her heart being shattered again? Will Foster tuck tail and run form the one thing he won’t allow himself to have? Or will they embrace this thing they have? This story is full of witty banter that will have the reader laughing out loud whether by the main characters or from Gloria and it takes you on an emotional ride that leaves you craving more.

“i want to feel your dick stretching my aching pussy. I want to feel every barbell inside me with every thrust. I want you to fill me with your cum, and when you think I can’t take anymore, I want you to fuck me again.”

Reading this book I certainly learned some interesting things, like what a Jacob’s Ladder is. Hence the barbells. Avery and our favorite British Strumpet, Foster has surpassed and prevailed all other stories, this was truly amazing. Their chemistry and the fact that she wrote steamy romance books, I loved the book club, and everything about the whole story.

My favorite moment, wasn’t even between them but it was Foster looking up how to care for a baby, that wasn’t even his. And the contrast between horrible horrible Ron, and sweet sweet loving Foster made it all seem so sweet.

“his bedazzled penis” I also loved his bedazzled penis, as well as “his fancy penis”.

Foster’s story was enlightening and how he spoke to his father not out of anger but almost like he misunderstood his intentions.

“It gives someone the power to destroy you, to take everything you thought you had in life and set it on fire. I don’t want to feel that again. I can’t”.

Absolutely stunning, loved it.

Foster, Foster, Foster.... How you can wreck me!

Out of this series, Foster and Avery's story is my favorite so far! That British hockey player and sweet, sweet single mama are absolutely everything together.

This book had so many of my favorite tropes that I can't even tell you. I loved it!

This could be read as a standalone, but it's better to be read as the series because each book couple kind of plays off the other one.

I did listen to this one on audio, and the narrators did a fantastic job.

I knew from the moment I started this book I was going to love it. Foster having to rock the most ridiculous fancy dress outfit, before having to go rescue our princess in distress from the roadside. I was laughing right through glimpses of the other Devils and their costumes.

Ivers never fails to bring me delicious hero’s. Foster, our British Devil (not me being excited at having a Brit infiltrate the team over here 😆) was the most loveable, dirty talking guy… and the fancy peen.. well!! 🔥 He had me up in all the feels with the adorable stuff he got up to!

I couldn’t wait to see where Averys story would go, having met and loving her in Broody Devil. Our single mum, who’s already been burned by a hockey player before.. I couldn’t wait to see her find her HEA.

Special mention has to go to Gloria who might just win the Comedy award for me. I need her jumper collection!! I was laughing out loud whenever she made an appearance.

Honestly this book had me chuckling throughout! The chemistry and tension between Avery and Foster (helloo that shower scene), the fun vibes from Gloria… Rhett being.. well Rhett. I got to hang with my favourite Ice Hockey team again. There was nothing I didn’t love about it!

Hot hockey romance? Yup. Hot hockey player who is british? Sign me up! Fake relationship, single mom, brother’s teammate. All the trappings of a classic romance novel disaster! I love that this one played into the classic romance novels. Both strong characters who know how to have a good time. Plenty of spicy scenes with a HEA and an epilogue.

5 Star Review of Dirty Devil (Nashville Devils #4) by Melissa Ivers
This was a wonderful addition to the Nashville Devils series and is Foster and Avery’s story and I loved it. From the first chapter I was hooked on the story that Ms. Ivers wove.
In fact this book has jumped to the top as my favourite. There were so many laugh out loud moments that my husband thought I was going crazy. I fell hard and fast for Foster, who wouldn’t fall for a man who danced around holding a baby whilst singing and oh did I mention he was shirtless? I mean who could resist? I couldn’t.
There were moments where I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much and I really enjoyed the witty banter and camaraderie between the characters. The relationship that Avery has with her son as well as her brother was heart warming and added an extra layer to the story.
Dirty Devil was an entertaining read that ticked all the boxes for me. I loved how feisty and determined Avery was and how she agreed to pretend to be Foster’s girlfriend. Not realizing that that decision would change their lives forever.
This was a great story, the characters were easy to relate to. One click this little gem, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

So let me start by saying that I didn't realize this was book 4 in a series when I grabbed it, but it makes so much sense.
I read this as a standalone, but the information you need on all of the characters and even the background on the two MC's is definately lacking. Like I said, I didn't realize it was book 4 until I started reading it.

I wanted to like this book, and it did have some redeeming qualities but overall it fell a bit flat for me. The conflict between them is honestly pretty eye rolling, which made their get back together scene pretty blah for me. There is also reference at the end to all of these other guys making basically the same bullshit mistakes he's made their women and having to grovel to get them back and I was just like.. Really??!
This is book 4 and you've done the same break up/get together stuff in all of them and no one has learned anything.

The whole 'i didn't realize I loved you until I broke your heart with the asshole things I said' isn't really doing it for me any more I guess.

there is so much I loved but to start: dirty devil is now one my FAVORITE older brother’s friend/teammate story. ever. Rhett exceeded my expectations in every way, even though I thought he would handle their fictitious dating situation poorly. He was protective and expressed how much his sister meant to him, but he also avoided getting involved in their relationship and kept Foster as a friend. It only strengthened my love for Rhett <3

But that isn't the topic of this post. It concerns my affection for Foster and Avery.

“ᴀᴠᴇʀʏ ᴀɴᴅ ᴍᴀꜱᴏɴ ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅɴ’ᴛ ʙᴇ ᴀ ʀᴇᴀꜱᴏɴ ᴛᴏ ʟɪᴠᴇ, ʙᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇʏ’ᴅ ʙᴇ ᴀ ʀᴇᴀꜱᴏɴ ᴛᴏ ɢᴇᴛ ᴜᴘ ᴇᴠᴇʀʏ ᴅᴀʏ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴀ ꜱᴍɪʟᴇ ᴏɴ ᴍʏ ꜰᴀᴄᴇ.”

Foster. Bloody. Craig. Most likely the greatest work of fiction to come out of Britain since... I'm at a loss for words; the guy has left me completely blank. positively.
Foster, a well-known playboy and love-em-and-leave-em type, finds himself in a position where he must tidy up the mess that his former agency left behind. And what better way to accomplish it than by feigning a connection with Avery, the sister of one of his teammates?
Despite having a slight crush on Foster for some time, Avery—an independent single mother and all-around queen—is hesitant to approach another hockey player. This will be difficult when everyone believes she and Foster are dating after a photo of them goes viral. I was obsessed with this amazing false dating experience.

“ɪᴛ ɢɪᴠᴇꜱ ꜱᴏᴍᴇᴏɴᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀ ᴛᴏ ᴅᴇꜱᴛʀᴏʏ ʏᴏᴜ, ᴛᴏ ᴛᴀᴋᴇ ᴇᴠᴇʀʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ʏᴏᴜ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴅ ɪɴ ʟɪꜰᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ꜱᴇᴛ ɪᴛ ᴏɴ ꜰɪʀᴇ. ɪ ᴅᴏɴᴛ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ꜰᴇᴇʟ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴀɢᴀɪɴ. ɪ ᴄᴀɴ’ᴛ”.

Both Foster and Avery were remarkable individuals who carried a considerable amount of personal baggage. Despite having absentee and abusive parents, they were attracted to each other and had a great chemistry. And Avery's son, held in the arms of a shirtless Foster, singing Ed Sheeran to him? I waved my feminist farewell as it hurried out the closest window. I thought it was great how the author captured Foster's Britishness (is that a word?) down to the insults (that's my favourite slur to say, by the way). I was hoping Foster would take his head out of his ass long enough to realise what was in front of him because I could not get enough of this amazing duo.

"ɪ'ᴍ ʀᴏᴏᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴘᴏᴛ, ʙᴜᴛ ᴀᴛ ʟᴇᴀꜱᴛ ʙʏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛɪᴍᴇ ʜᴇ ᴄᴏᴍᴇꜱ ʙᴀᴄᴋ, ɪ'ᴠᴇ ᴍᴀɴᴀɢᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴄʟᴏꜱᴇ ᴍʏ ᴍᴏᴜᴛʜ.#ᴡɪɴɴɪɴɢ."

An incredible trope filled story that I could not put down. Also, Gloria needs a statue resurrected in her honour. She was friggin hilarious.

I knew from the last book that Foster and Avery were going to alter my brain chemistry and give me all that serotonin buzz that comes from a hockey romance and then add a dirty talking British hero and a single mom? Melissa Ivers came through with Dirty Devil!

From the start of the book I knew it was going to be a fun ride. Although there is a time jump from the last book, you get caught up right away. Avery has sworn off hockey players and she’s just focusing on being a mom and an aspiring romance author but Foster needs her help which leads to fake dating but we all know that when they say it’s fake, it never is. The chemistry and mutual longing is strong, the sexual tension, and I ate it up. I also loved seeing past characters again and how they’re doing, how close Avery is with her brother and the family she has backing her and as wild and funny Gloria is, she’s also a huge support system to Avery. The found family trope is very strong here and I love that.

Foster is the chip on his shoulder, I don’t need anyone, I have a-lot of issues and that’s why I can’t open myself up to love until it smacks him in the face but also adores Avery and her son and seeing him work through his issues and want to do better for Avery and how protective and supportive he is and the mouth on him? It’s always those brits. Their scenes were HOT! and Avery and him just made so much sense, I felt like they both needed each other and formed their own family. I loved the way her ex was handled. Good riddance dude! One thing I do wish was seeing a little more of Avery and her son and foster together or just what their day to day life as a couple. That baby was so cute but I felt like he spent more time with Gloria than anyone but that’s just me because I’m sucker for the domestic fluff. Don’t get me wrong there is scenes! And they are so cute! Foster with baby Mason? Those scenes made my heart melt. You guys will love them too. No spoilers! but I live for sappy fluffy stuff but I also get that it gave us lots of fun scenes with foster and Avery, you’ll see. It is such a fun, steamy, emotional hockey romance book that I think you guys will love and thank you to the author, Melissa for the arc copy of dirty devil. The book comes out January 26, 2023!

and the ending???? I cannot wait for Gordon’s book. Grumpy suit wearing hockey team owner needed his story and I’m glad he’s next.

Once I started reading I found it hard to put this book down. This was a fun, spicy, swoon worthy read. You can typically guess how a fake dating your teammate’s sister plot will go but Melissa puts her own personal touch on it. This made it feel fresh and new. It’s a very enjoyable read.

I’m going to have a moment here; Foster is hottt 🫠🥵
He’s a reformed playboy hockey player.
Ohh that’s not hot enough? Add a British accent and make him a dirty talker.
Nooo, still not enough?? Make sure he’s good with Avery’s son, Mason, and toss in some more qualities that will leave you swooning.
Almost there??? Ummm…Ohhh, yes that’s right!! His 🍆 has a little something extra (😉😳🥵)

As you can tell he’s living rent free in my mind. Back to the rest of the book. Avery is a wonderful, caring, slightly stubborn, single mom. She knows what she wants and also what she should avoid. The tension she creates for herself because of her need to avoid feelings for Foster adds to their relationship. Their banter and chemistry is awesome.

They both know they shouldn’t fake date. They also ignore their feelings that they already have. But they decide to go for it anyway. The lines in this fake relationship were blurred before it even got started. Can they admit their true feelings and let their relationship be real?

Foster and Avery are my new favorite Devil couple (although they may just be placeholders until Gordie’s book because I have been DYING for it since the very beginning) and I honestly wasn’t even expecting to love them both as much as I did! Foster as a British hockey player who has a soft spot for Avery even when she was pregnant with someone else’s baby is just irresistible, and I just couldn’t help but admire the strong, single mom that Avery is, battling her own insecurities.

I love Melissa Iver’s writing style, as it always feels like she is writing just as I think in my own head, which makes her characters so relatable.
One of my favorite relationships in the book was actually Avery and her brothers. Their banter and the way they are there for each other reminded me of my relationship with my own brothers.

This book is hilarious with the usual cast of characters from the series, as well as a new addition with the outrageous, older neighbor Gloria, who I officially want to be when I grow up! Add in a sweet baby who has Foster wrapped around his tiny finger, I just didn’t want the book to end. It does touch on some tough topics, which made me appreciate even more all that Avery and Foster both had to work through to become better for each other and get to their HEA!

Fun, sexy, and endlessly hilarious....Foster and Avery's story was one Bloody Hell of a good time!! I promise if you're not a Nashville Devils fan yet....you definitely will be after reading this!

I've been waiting to get my hands on Foster's story and this Dirty Devil did not disappoint! He brought the SWOON and the STEAM with a capital S! I knew I was going to enjoy this story because I enjoy everything Melissa writes but, I was truly blown away by how much I absolutely ADORED it!

Everything from the moments that stole and broke my heart, the laugh out loud banter, The Crush, to inappropriate commrnts by a certain unicorn slipper wearing neighbor...😏🤣❤️ OMG just LOVED IT! This is one of those stories that makes you feel good just by reading it!

There is so much humor, heart, and smexy heat that is packed within these pages that you'll find it hard to put this story down for a single second! Avery and Foster are a couple that just steal your heart bit by bit and page by page! Trust me when I say that by the end, you're going to be die hard #cramington fans 4Ever!

This story was an absolute gem and I enjoyed the heck out of reading it! Get it on your TBR NOW! This is one Sexy Devil you won't want to miss! 😘❤️

Fake Dating for the Win!

I don’t think I can stress enough how much I’ve been enjoying this series. I know that with each book I get more enthralled in this world that guarantees a lot of laughs, some angst and loads of steamy moments.

Avery is a single mom who is trying to achieve her dreams of writing romance novels while care of her son, Mason. Avery still believes in happily ever afters even though she has been burned in the past. Her past experiences doesn’t let her shy away from developing a crush on her brothers British teammate.

Foster is a famous hockey player for the Nashville Devils who can be describe as quite the playboy with an easy smile. When the story starts he is worried that his contract won’t be renewed because of his past.

These two decide to enter into a fake relationship that benefits the both of them. But soon enough, the lines get blurred and they are no longer faking it.

I was so captivated by this story that I didn’t want it to end. I knew that I was going to obsess over Foster but I didn’t expect him to be so possessive and I was here for it. The shower scene (iykyk) was top notch and that mouth of his 😮‍💨

I love that we still get a glimpse into how all past happy couples are doing and the banter that comes when they all get together. Overall this was a great read and a hockey series I will continue to recommend.

Dirty Devil is EVERY. DAMN. THING!! Are you kidding me with Foster?? Just when I think Melissa wrote my favorite Nashville Devil, she out does herself and has me falling even more in love with the next one. Foster is what book boyfriends are made of. He cares so much for Avery and her son Mason, even though he’s scared to admit it.

“When it’s us, there are no rules. Just you and me, Princess.”

Avery is mending a broken heart after her baby’s father drops her. She is trying to navigate life and find her place as a single mom and aspiring romance author. When her friend, and brother’s teammate, who she has a crush on, needs a favor, she can’t help but say yes. They come to an agreement to be in a fake relationship to help fix his reputation in the NHL. From there, this book takes on a life of its own, as we follow Avery and Foster along on their journey of overcoming their pasts and finding love. I seriously adore these two. This friends to lovers story will have you swooning. Oh and the spice level. Foster is something else!! I see now why Melissa titled this book Dirty Devil **fans self**

I can’t wait to see how Melissa works her magic on us with Gordon’s story because let me tell you, right now, his grumpiness gets on my nerves. I’m really looking forward to seeing his softer side, seeing him fall in love.

Happy Reading!!

Ms. Ivers gives us a hat trick with this hot, single-m0m, British sex god hockey player, fake relationship romance that will have you laughing all the while needing a very cold shower. I love Foster and Avery together and how they finally take a leap of faith toward something more than friends. Avery's brother is a teammate of Foster's so there has always been this no dating teammates sisters but Foster has had feelings for Avery for a long time and he hasn't acted upon them. When Avery needs money to get her car fixed, take care of her son and work on a book she wants to write, Foster gives her a proposal that she cannot refuse. Well, as long as she keeps The Crush locked up in the box, everything will be fine. Hopefully. Flirting, fun and feelings see the two of them having fun but also seeing them crossing the line and things get hot and spicy.
Foster is definitely a book-boyfriend and very swoon-worthy with the way he cares for Avery and her son Mason. You could not ask for a better man to be a fake boyfriend. Ms. Ivers really does know how to deliver a story that is funny, gripping and addictive. Pick up Dirty Devil and be prepared for laughs, banter and a fantastic love story.
