Bugs is a non fiction picture book about bugs and insects. This book tells about the characteristics of bugs and about they way they live. Each type of bug has different things they can do and some bugs have similar characteristics

I like this book because it gives a detailed description of bugs. It has pictures and labels on the pictures about what they are talking about. There is a lot of information on the page which is great. They also talk about how bug acts and not just talks about the way the bug looks.

I would use this book in my classroom because some kids might really enjoy bugs. This would also be a great science book, to teach kids about bugs. This is a easy to read and follow along book especially with the labels of each part with pictures.

For a couple of years I taught fifth grade and we had a unit of insects; I used Bugs ~ Usborne Discovery Books in the science center to give them an oppertunity to read about more than the basic unit material provided by the school for the classroom.

The illustrations are colorful, full of details and appealing to ten to eleven year old students. We had a fifteen minute free reading time daily and this book was used by all the children in the classroom each year. It raised their interest ot find out more about Bugs throughtout the world.

This is a very informative book to learn all about bugs! Find out what a bug is, details about their bodies and their senses, or how they hunt for food. Enjoy many fun and interesting facts, along with pictures, about all the bugs in the world! I thought this book was very good for the information it contained, but it was not my favorite because bugs are not interesting to me at all. I would definitely use this book to answer any questions I may have about a bug's life. I would use this in my classroom, especially for young boys who may be interested in bugs. Some kids find them very interesting and if I want to encourage them to read then I need to provide them with a book they can enjoy.
