Rex - thanks for an honest account of your life. I very much appreciated your directness and vulnerability of giving us the bad with the good. I will be praying for you as you continue and finish your earthly journey. You have a lot to offer people as they navigate life's challenges and reality. As a peer and fellow hooper I admire your persepctive and honesty with your abilities and thought process navigating the hand you were dealt. I always thought you did get the most out of your ability and were successfuly on the court. I was never aware of the injuries and addictions your were battling as you played and grew as an athlete and person. I look forward to learning more from you and seeing how you impact your community.

Rex Chapman was at the top of his game in the NBA when injuries sidelined him temporarily -- and opioids sidelined him permanently. Chapman recounts his rise to star athlete, his fall, caused by drugs and gambling, and his journey to becoming a person he can live with.

This memoir is honest and sad, but also hopeful.
