Sweet story about a young woman who is beaten down by her family and in need of some assistance. Enter her white knight - Ace. Good thing he’s an officer of the law and knows the right people to help when needed.

Enter Ace, who took one look at Mandy and knew she was his, plain and simple. She may fight it, may fight his alpha tendencies, but he knows he'll do whatever it takes to make her his, and to protect her, even from her brother.
Ace is alpha personified, I admit it bugged me a little, but he was really perfect for Mandy, as only someone that strong could have taken on her brother and the trouble he had gotten Mandy into. Their chemistry burns hot and instantly, and in the end, Ace and Mandy sweetly found love with each other.

Ace is an undercover cop who’s career’s his life, and he’s got no plans to change that until the moment he locks eyes with Mandy at his Aunts house. All it took was one look at the woman and he just knew she needed to protect her, even if she didn’t know it herself.
Mandy’s trying to work her way forwards in her career rather than just being seen as a pretty face, she’s also working on freeing herself from her toxic family who have all betrayed her in their own ways, from her mum pimping her out to her brother actually selling her to a Russian criminal, she knows things need to change but she loves them and would do anything for them. She needs help but at the same time she doesn’t want anyone to know what’s going on in her life and just how poorly she’s been treated.
Meeting Ace changes things for Mandy, for the first time in her life somebody loves her for her, not what she can do for them, she just needs to let him in. Can he get her to open up and let him in so that he can help her? If so will they find a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?
Until Ace is a great addition to the Aurora Rose Reynolds, Happily Ever Alpha series, one I highly recommend.

Ace & Mandy: Triggers: domestic violence, sex trafficking, drugs and kidnapping. This book was okay. It fits in the series very well but there were a couple of things that I did not like. Firstly, I loved Ace. He was a pure definition of alpha male. The author added a few cameos from the original “Until Him/Her” series but they weren't really a part of the story and this, I feel, was a missed opportunity. The original characters are the heart and soul of how this series started. Neither Ace nor Mandy are related to the Mason's but Ace is friends with them and as a cop, definitely works with them. I wanted to learn a little more about both characters' backstory, especially Mandy. It's never discussed why Mandy is the way she is at the start of this book and why she was so mistreated. So while the author gave us an anticlimactic ending with no cliffhanger, she failed to give us a proper explanation about Mandy and her family. I feel that she could have somehow connected them more to the ending. Other than that, I didn't have much of a problem. It wasn't overly exciting but it wasn't terrible. Just ok.

Touching, emotional, pull at your heart strings amazing
From the first couple of chapters, you can tell this is going to be a very touching story. Ace and Mandy definitely belong together. You have two people who struggle to let others into their lives. Yet, when they're near each other its hard to walk away. As you read each chapter, you get more and more invested into their lives. You want to know what secrets their holding onto. You will feel every emotion they go through. Especially Mandy. I felt her emotions down into my bones. Believe me way I say you will feel every emotion one can feel. You'll laugh, you'll get angry, you'll get so frustrated to the point you want to be a part of the story, and you'll feel the love and care of those around Mandy and Ace. I love Ana's writing. I love the detail she puts into her stories that make it so you can imagine the scenes in your mind. I get more and more impressed with her writing after reading each story that's released. This is my favorite of all her books. I highly recommend you read it! It deserves way more than five stars.

Until Ace, full of angst and emotion delivers with every page.
Both Mandy and Ace have Demons in their past. Ace keeps his secrets locked away, but Mandy lives with hers every day. Trying to have a family that loves her unconditionally takes it's toll, and when she finally says no to her brother, Jim, all hell breaks loose.
Ace meets Mandy at Beverley's house. Beverley took him in and raised him when his life fell apart as a kid. He is tired of her trying to set him up with dates, but when he walks in and sees Mandy for the first time, he knows there will be no one else for him. "Boom" This story is so hot, full of the intense feelings and love that Ace feels as he fights for Mandy and his future with her. As their story unfolds, and the many hurdles they encounter, it is a thrilling ride to the end. A great story that does finally lead to a HEA for Ace and Mandy.

She's the pretty one and the... "go to she'll fix it, girl." She wants to be recognized for what she can accomplish and treated that way. Not much help. Her brother once again is in a fix she's EXPECTED to get him out of. No more.
He was treated well and loved by the woman who raised him, his aunt. He was tired of her setups but could never say no. For once he's glad. One look at Mandy and BOOM! He just has to convince her insta-love is real and they have it.
I enjoyed the story and the characters. Seeing some characters from other stories made it all worthwhile. The story flow could have been better which is why 4 stars instead of 5. The transitions were sometimes lacking but not enough to ruin the story. This is another good book world where the main author loans some of her characters to other authors to write their stories. I love that as well. Enjoy and read more of the series by any of the authors.

My heart broke for poor Mandy. I seriously wanted to slap her family. She was trying so hard to get her life in track. Trying to get a promotion at work. But it just seems like they didn't want her to be happy.
And now her brother is in trouble again and who do they want to bail him out. And no matter how much she says she can't help him, everybody expects her to. And then she meets Ace... And all he wants to do is help her, protect her and make her realize that she is worth so much more than what her family thinks she is.
I loved this story. Ace meets Mandy and BOOM he is hooked and he is going to do everything he can to prove to her how special she is and protect her from whatever her brother is involved in.
Ace was so good for Mandy. I just wished she could see how great she was. Loved seeing Cobin and Talon and Mia again 💖

When Ace's aunt decides to make an introduction, he didn't think his world would turn upside down. As an undercover cop, that is in the middle of a case, he doesn't really have the time to devote to a relationship. Mandy's life has been less than stellar, her family is crap and continually puts her in impossible positions. Ace coming along gives Mandy a hope of a life that she never thought she would get, nor that she deserved. Will Ace be able to convince Mandy that she is deserving?
What a story this turned out to be! Mandy and Ace's story had so much going on, Mandy with her family issues, Ace with the case and then with coming to terms with the BOOM. We get some really good drama, some laughs, a few nice naughty bits and of course some of our favorite ARR characters. I give this 4 stars.

The BOOM has landed in another fantastic addition to the happily ever after series, Ace was hit with the magic from the moment he met Mandy but she is dealing with family drama that is making her try to keep Ace at arm's length, which is proving to be difficult, as her head is dealing Mandy one thing and her heart and those closest to her are telling her something else, Ana Balen spun a world of heartbreak, love, suspense, she including some of my favourite characters from 'The Until' series, and ultimately she produced that the BOOM is alive and thriving in the Happily Ever After Series.

I just love the ‘BOOM’ books and that so many different authors are writing them now and introducing me to their work through these books. I really enjoyed this one! Ace was the typical alpha, protective hero that falls instantly for his Mandy. Mandy has had it rough and lacks self confidence. She tries to push Ace away but he will not take no for an answer (love that! 😏). The chemistry between these two was fire and because of that the spice was hot (it takes a while to get them there through). Throw in a suspense plot and some damsel in distress moments and I am a happy camper! And on top of it all, we get to see my main squeeze Cobi (and Nico!) Loved this!

Mandy has been treated horribly by her family and now her brother is bartering her away for his own gain. Then we have Beverly and all her crazy friends that invite Ace over to meet Mandy when the "Boom" hits him. However, with all the brainwashing her mother has done over the years can Mandy truly step away and go against her family? I truly liked this story and it would have been a five star rating but at times the story seemed rushed and as though I was missing parts. I did fall in love with Ace who loves with his whole heart even though Mandy had her secrets. Great story and I loved the BOOM!

This is a well written story which is easy to read, with family, friendships, drama, secrets, undeniable chemistry, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Until Ace by Ana Balen is part of the Happily Ever Alpha World Series. This is the story of Mandy and Ace. Mandy is working on starting a fresh new life and doesn't plan on getting involved with someone. But her neighbor Beverley has other plans. Beverley raised her nephew Ace when things had gotten bad so she has been trying to find his happy ever after. Ace has had some issue so he isn't ready to jump into a relationship no matter how hard his Aunt tries. But when he meets Mandy that might be a different story. Enjoyed this book. I hope to read more from this author and series.

This is Mandy and Ace’s story. When Ace meets Mandy he can feel the pull and he can see that she is hiding things. Can he get her to open up and let him in so he can help her? She is struggling and trying to make sure she does not pull anyone into her struggles. Can she really count on Ace?

Talk about the BOOM, this storyline had the connection, chemistry and passion between these two exploding like the most epic fireworks display. Ace and Mandy had my heart from the very first moment that they meet. The side characters played such an important part to their journey as well and had you falling in love with these ladies too. A love story filled with doubts, drama and family mayhem. Their story wrapped itself tightly around me and I loved every minute of it.

Until Ace gives us a great addition to the Happily Ever Alpha World and gives us another BOOM! that was undeniable from the very start. This journey is gives us Ace and Mandy's story and this is one you do not want to miss out on. Swoon, heat, heart, and all of the feels.. get ready to fall head over heels in love.

So for me I started with this series in the very beginning with Aurora n Until November. I have enjoyed and read the Happily Ever Alpha since then. I love that other authors are part of it and this was no exception. I enjoyed the main characters of Ace, the cocky cop. He’s a lot like Cobi or even Nico with the cocky law enforcement vibes. Mandy is the woman trying to escape her past, her own family thinks she’s only good for one thing and have emotionally abused her for years. This was a great shorter book for me to read and I love this world and watching the characters realize they have met their “ boom”. A good little book to read if u enjoy the alpha world.

Super cute story. Mandy comes from a family that only uses her. Ace is a undercover cop. When his aunt asks him to help her. He doesn’t want to. One look at her and he’s a goner. He wants forever with her. She doesn’t believe in ever after, but with ace she wants to hold on tight. You won’t stop reading ti the end.

I thought this book was a good read. I really liked Ace and his over the top alpha male stuff. Unfortunately, Mandy was rather a weak character but she’s also one of those girls that does stupid stuff and finds her self in a bad situation. However, it all worked out in the end, so I give it a four-star.

I truly never expected to even like Mandy, never mind love and care about her as much as I now do! When I met her in Mia’s story, I only saw her ice queen mask. Knowing her background, it makes her love story with Ace so much sweeter. Found family can be so much better! I love that instant connection. I couldn’t put this down! Loved it!
