This is a review of the 1975 paperback edition, which was my mother's book. This book has been updated, making this edition out of date. I've kept this for sentimental reasons. Mom scribbled notes in it. She was a legal secretary and paralegal.

It does have an alphabetical listing of major legal terms, up to 1975, anyway. These terms often pop up in legal thrillers and murder mysteries, so keeping any edition of this book around might be handy if you frequently read those genres.

As a reading experience, it's painful. I'm sure an audio book of this was blasted non-stop to prisoners at Guantanamo Bay to make them break down.
