This is my first book by Sage and also my first book for this series.
It is a short #smalltownromance #holidayromance read. Nice for the season. An #easyread and even some #suspense. A lovely #cozy read for the season.

My heart goes out to Lori and her family. They have a lot of stuff on their plate during the holidays.

In this part we hear about Erin Bowen and Mark Snyder. And about Laurents passing. And the relationship between Lori and her daughter Lucy.

I wish I read the first book. And I also wanna read the rest. Wanna know what happens.

Entertaining relationship listening 🎶🔰

This is a kindle e-book novella from kindle unlimited book two in the series

Lori is helping at her parents lodge when her daughter shows up. They have some words but are working on their relationship. Lori goes for a walk and twist her ankle Peter helps her back to the lodge. Then her father has a cardio event. Continued in the next book.

I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of family and friends relationships adventure novels 👍🔰. 2024 👒😤😮🌙🏡

Perfect reading during a snow storm

Rating: 3* - my 3* star rating means I really like it! There were just some editing issues (typos, grammar mistakes, etc.) that should have been looked over one last time before hitting publish.

I say this all the time, but Sage Parker is the queen of serial cozy mystery romance. This particular series is perfect for the storm season we're dealing with currently.

I'm still unsure how I feel about Lori. She can't seem to make up her mind about anything, be it Peter, her sister, her daughter, or her parents. Don't get me started about the mystery of her empty bank account was that doesn't seem to be very important. Has she contacted her bank? Has she been keeping in contact with the police? I have so many questions!

But right now, the question is, who got into Peter's shed? And why were a pair of lawyers allowed to search the premises without the police?!

Great Read

This was another great read. Lori and her family are in a very bad situation. Can she help to find out who is doing all the bad things. This is one mystery that will keep you interested. Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out

Lori’s parents fill her in about the court summon and why they are being sued. Lori can’t believe this is happening and wants to figure out why. Will the sibling rivalry find a peaceful solution? Lori’s daughter, Lucy arrives with a lot of animosity toward Lori. Peter is trying to break the shell Lori has built around her heart. Tension continues to grow as Lori gets hurt, Milo goes missing, lawyers visit and someone ends up in the hospital. What will happen next? Will they rally around and become a family once again? Can’t wait to read what happens next.

Christmas at Glacier Grove Book 2 by Sage Parker is a good, and enjoyable short clean wholesome small town holiday romance read with suspenseful mystery. Should read the first story in this series before reading. The story has a great entertaining world building story line with an easy to read story line. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining read that has a suspenseful cliffhanger at the end. An enjoyable instalment to this series. This had a little drama and also a very interesting development. Lori, Angela and Lori’s daughter, Lucy, are all making an effort to get along but in the midst of this family reconciliation the police come knocking on the door regarding some stolen ski equipment that is directly connected to Peter. Did Peter steal the equipment or was it all a set up? A cliffhanger at the end has us in suspense for Lori and her safety. Can’t wait for the next instalment.

Christmas At Glacier Grove Book 2 finds Lori learning about her parent’s problems with Mark Snyder. Peter learns of Lori’s relationship with his employers. Lucy and Lori begin to talk about the divorce and the effects on Lucy. Angela and Lori’s relationship also changes. There is a suspenseful cliffhanger at the end of this book.

We find that Lori has not been home for awhile and while her parents fun a beautiful B&B in the mountains she has chosen not to return since her divorce situation. She find that he sister is running most of the property as her parents are slowing down and letting her assume the responsibilities. This is not a happy occurrence for Lori as for some reason her sister really does not like her and is constantly putting her down and questioning her abilities. She is also very controlling and does not want any real help from Lori.
Her friend says that since they are staying at the lodge they should take advantage of all that is offered and that they need to take skiing lessons
Lori absolutely does not want to do this even though she once was a very good skater but after an accident when she was younger she never skied again. They meet a nice man at the coffee shop who says that it was the instructors fault that she got hurt and that she should try out the new instructor. When they get to the BUNNY slope she is mortified to find out that the man from the coffee shop is really their ski instructor.
We are taken on this ride as their relationship develops and Lori learns that there are problems at the lodge that no one has been telling her. Her family may loose everything and there are several really strange mysteries going on.
Can she get to the bottom of it all and safe the family heritage.

The second part picks up book one left off with Lori coming face-to-face with her estranged daughter, Lucy. Lucy does not understand what happened with her parents, their marriage or what truly led to the demise of it, is angry, confused, and finds it easy to lash out at her mother. However there are bigger things going on than the relationship between mother and daughter. We discover that Lori‘s parents, Nelson and Hannah have been going through a lawsuit for the past several years brought on after a tragic accident. We start to discover a little bit of the mystery of things that may be going on behind the scenes.

Will we discover who is to blame for this string of mishaps?

When the police show up with a search warrant, it will throw everything into chaos as Lori begins to wonder if she can truly trust herself when it comes to people, betrayal, and seeing them for who they truly are.

I enjoy that little by little Lori seems to be mending fences with each person. There are hiccups throughout but I found them to be reasonable. I found this portrayal of family dynamics to be very realistic and I really love what takes place in the childcare area between Lori, Angela, and Lucy.

My heart breaks for Lori's family. Someone needs to catch Mark doing something wrong so that he can get what he truly deserves. He is such an awful person. Now I am believing that Angela's husband's death wasn't an accident and I hope someone looks into that and soon. I am also flabbergasted that Lori is literally not doing much about her missing bank account. I would be doing everything I could to find out where the heck my money went and who hacked into my personal account... She should definately look into her ex and his mistress. It would not surprise me if they had a hand in it... This series is getting so good!

A somewhat confusing book two with lots of issues being disclosed by different family members. Lucy and her mom have been reluctant to talk to each other. They're finally in a situation that allows them to each out. Angela reveals her doubts regarding her husband's death. The question of how the young girl on the lift actually died. Lori's financial problem is brought out. Where does Peter fit in? Why is their competitor, Mark Snyder, fit into the equation.

This one’s a page turner! Lori finds out the secret her parents have been keeping, her sister surprises her with suspicions of her husband’s death, and Lori’s estranged daughter shows up. Then Peter is accused of a crime. Who’s telling the truth? What other secrets are there? Will Lori and her daughter Lucy patch up their relationship? And last but not least, Lori gets lost in a snowstorm looking for Milo. A mysterious person ignores her cries for help - or did she imagine the whole thing?.

Very suspenseful. Kind of jumps around a lot as there are lots of things happening to everyone in the family plus Peter also. And what is that sneaky mark up to?
As there are no page numbers about 10 minutes left after they get back from the hospital there may be a word missing? Stella came down from her? Otherwise can’t wait to read the rest.

Lori has gotten the mail from the Mailman, and on the top was a large envelope for her father. She quickly found her Dad and he tried to get it away from her and not open it. Lori made him open it , and it was a Court Summons.
What Lori didn't know was her parents had been fighting law suits with Mark Snyder ( who owned the ski lodge on the other side of the mountain) for 7 years.
This was turning into one nightmare after another.
What was going on?

Enthralling story!

Wow - another enthralling book in the saga at Glacier Grove. I'm totally hooked on this series and the cliff hanger endings that leave me wanting more. The challenges faced by Lori and her family are significant and issues continue to arise that keep me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this book and series by Sage Parker.

So many questions and problems all at once. What is the real reason Lori’s parents are being sued and harassed? Why does Angela question her husband’s accidental death? Is Peter being framed or is he really innocent? Can Lori reconcile with her daughter without ruining her relationship with her father? So many questions and patience isn’t my strong suit.
