If you read his father's novella and thought he was unhinged then wait till you meet Viktor. He takes the unhinged to a whole new level and meaning.
Amaia is dealing with her own problems as her half-brother and father are all part of the mafia world, but she has been sheltered from it until she meets Viktor, and by meets I mean gets stalked.
As this is a novella and less than 150 pages we do not really get a good chance to see these two emotionally connected throughout their story. However, despite this we can clearly see how obsessed Viktor becomes towards her and what he will do to protect her and make her his.

I loved this novella.
Viktor is a chip off the old block. Just like his father in that he’s ruthless, gets the job done, falls hard and loves even harder.
Viktor falls hard for Amaia before he learns who she is. And by the time he figures it all out he’s too far gone. He falls fast and hard. His after care is amazing and he loves so tenderly. Amaia is a ballerina who is working towards becoming the Prima. A goal that she will not allow anyone or any man to keep her from. She knows of her father and her dealings but she’s happy to remain oblivious to the inner workings. That is until she crosses paths with Viktor and essentially he sends her life into a downward spiral (typical ammiright? 😂) but through Viktor she learns to accept herself, learns the men in her life are liars, and learns to love and be loved.
If you’re needing a quick hit of murder, spice, and love definitely give this a read.

I loved every single thing about Viktor Petrov. This man is the definition of morally grey. He saw what he wanted and went after it. Did he stalk her? Yes her did. Did he sneak into her house to watch her sleep? Of course, why wouldn't he? Did he rub one out while she was sleeping and leave his cum behind in interesting ways to let her know she was being watch? You bet your bottom dollar he did! And I loved EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT!
I truly loved this plot and story line. So much so that I wish it was longer. Which is me being a selfish reader and my main complaint about a novella that I love. Dare I say this is one of my favorites in this anthology. Which is saying a lot because I REALLY loved Roman Petrov.

I loved this novella and all it had to offer. all I really have to say is: Viktor=🥵. I enjoyed the plot and characters, but the spice takes the gold here. I’m very excited for to meet the rest of the Petrov family in the coming novellas!!

I received an ARC of this book.
I loved Viktor. He was strong, protective and a fierce protector of those he cared about. He is also admittedly a selfish man. Amaia's story and struggles were so real and heartbreaking. If you enjoy mafia romance, then this novella is for you.

I absolutely loved this novella. This is part of the Petrov Anthology that turned into individual novellas. This is Viktor and Amaia’s story.
Amaia is a beautiful, self conscious, and determined ballerina who works hard and is trying to become Prima. She’s aware of her 1/2 brother’s connection to gangs and drugs but doesn’t know the sorted details of his dark life. She expecting him to attend her show at the ballet but he doesn’t show.
Viktor is a hot, possessive, obsessive, tattooed mafia boss who is part of the Petrov family. He is looking for revenge. A chance encounter at the Ballet changes the course of his life when he sets his eyes on Amaia and that’s it he has to have her.
This novella is a spicy, sexy, kinky, sweet story of a hardened mafia boss who begins to soften for the girl he isn’t suppose to be falling for. I loved everything about this novella. The spice, the development of the relationship between Viktor and Amaia, the way he softened and fell for her ugh it was beautiful. I absolutely loved it so much and cannot wait for the rest of the Petrov family’s stories.

The Petrov Family is starting to make it's appearance and I started with Viktor. I have never read Ms. Embers before but after this little novella I am ready to hit up her books.
Viktor is the mafia man that will melt your heart....hard on the outside and so soft when it comes to Amaia! Even after finding out who she really is his heart still wants her.
From the moment Amaia meets Viktor her world becomes a whirlwind of a ride. She isn't blind the what type of man he is but can she accept it. When the time comes that he proves himself to her the answer is crystal clear.
For this being a novella I feel like a lot of information is provided in the story and doesn't make it seem rushed. It flows in a way that had me hooked and needing to know what Viktor and Amaia's ending would be! Bonus points that their story ends during Christmas!!!

Viktor helps run the family business like all mafia sons do but he's never been interested in settling down until he meets his little ballerina. Not knowing who she is at first he can't help but want her. Amaia's fiery character draws him in from the first look.
Amaia has always dreamed of being prima from a young age, dancing gave her control over her emotions and life but when she meets Viktor all her control goes out the window, she shouldn't want this man but every time Viktors near Amaia can't help but melt for him. He brings her a sense of calm that shes never had before and even though she know he's dangerous she can't stay away.
This is a short novella with a good plot and 🌶 . If you love mafia men who will stop at nothing to claim his woman and keep her safe then Viktor is your man.

I really liked that Amaia was a ballet dancer wanting to be Prima it just should how dedicated she was to her craft and how beautiful she truly way inside and out even though she did struggle with body image. Please always check your triggers.
There was a good plot and I could connect it with the previous story I read in this series
The spice was great I love the bdsm vibes and how Viktor cared for Amaia and showed her exactly what she wanted and needed.

Being a mafia romance novella, I knew I was going to speed through this book-not because it was a novella, but because I really fell for Viktor and Amaia.
Viktor’s obsessive, touch her and die vibe was so sexy! His dirty mouth was an added bonus 🥵 As soon as he laid eyes on Amaia, he was done for. She has the fierceness and curiosity he craves. There’s just the tiny issue that she is related to the Kosovich family, but that doesn’t stop Viktor from claiming Amaia as his.
I would love to see more of Viktor and Amaia. Amaia’s confidence at the end of the book really had me cheering for her and she is going to make one heck of a powerhouse next to Viktor!

If you like a book with a man becoming obsessed with a woman with just one look, this one is for you.
She's a ballet dancer getting ready for her show while he's looking for his rival. I love how he just becomes so obsessed with her, he starts following her, making sure she is okay, letting her know who she belongs to.... UGHHHHH He also knows how to make a girl forget everything, let loose and just be in the moment with his playroom.
Also being a dancer myself, i know her struggle, i know how her mind works and it's crazy to read about it. I could feel everything she felt, i got to know her even better then i thought i would.
It's too short to be this amazing! It's a novella, a stalker dark romance meaning read your trigger warnings before reading.

When I saw that I was getting a chance to read these novellas I was so freaking excited and y'all, did this book deliver!
Amaia and Viktor had such a good story! Viktor had my attention from the very beginning. I do love me some instant obsession and Viktor...yeah he had it.
Amaia is honestly going to be one of my favorite FMCs. I love that she was willing to chase her dreams and seek help with her body dysmorphia. She showed amazing growth and I love her for it!
This ARC was amazing and I cannot wait to read the rest of the novellas!!

Oh my goodness l loved this boom so much. I read it in one sitting. The characters where so well written, and really came to life, jumping off the pages. The fmc Amaia wow was such a sweet character, a very talented ballerina, who lived for just ballet, well until she meets Viktor the mmc. It is very hard to write a review without giving spoilers. What follows is a beautiful love story, with lots of twist and turns lol Thank you darcy for letting me arc read your book.

This is the second book in the The Petrov Family book.
This novella is about Viktor who is the son of Nikolai, he meets a ballerina named Amaia who is the daughter of one of his enemies Koskovich who killed his mother.
The story follows Amaia journey trying to become a Prima, and Viktor with his Stalker tendencies which I thought was pretty hot 🥵 😏. They have a kinda hate relationship. With some sprinkling of BDSM. I really enjoyed the Viktor and Amaia story.
Can’t wait to read the next story in the anthology series.

This is the second book in the The Petrov Family book.
This novella is about Viktor who is the son of Nikolai, he meets a ballerina named Amaia who is the daughter of one of his enemies Koskovich who killed his mother.
The story follows Amaia journey trying to become a Prima, and Viktor with his Stalker tendencies which I thought was pretty hot 🥵 😏. They have a kinda hate relationship. With some sprinkling of BDSM. I really enjoyed the Viktor and Amaia story.
Can’t wait to read the next story in the anthology series.

This story is about Amaia, a ballerina who becomes the obsession of mobster Viktor. This novella has a nice flow and was a quick read for me. Viktor is an over the top alpha male who sees Amaia and begins stalking her, even breaking into her apartment to watch her sleep. When they eventually come together things heat up quickly. I loved that this story is very spicy. I recommend this one to anyone who wants a quick mafia read, with lotsa spice.

This book was awesome!! Viktor and Amaia… Have this push pull type of tension that draws you in!! Their chemistry is next level… they compliment each other in ways on the surface maybe you wouldn’t expect. I don’t want to give anything away so I will just say that you should go check it out… because if your like me by the end your gonna want to know where you can find ya self a Viktor!! 🥵🫠🥵

Absolutely loved reading Viktor and Amaia's story!
I loved how Viktor, the possessive, hot and pierced Mafia boss sets his eyes on Amaia, who is strong, determined and just amazing!
This shows that even Mafia bosses can have pure, unbreakable love.
Viktor is not supposed to fall in love with Amaia, but love has got its own way of changing destiny.
This story is hot, spicy and oh so Kinky!
A definite MUST read!

Viktor was everything I didn't know I needed. This man is absolutely perfect. So possessive and alpha. But so perfect for Amaia, his Little Doll. A Mafia man with stalking tendencies.... I'm in love. Especially his feral happy endings 🍆💦🧎♀️.
Amaia this girl was sassy and told Viktor how it is. I adore her.
This is the first book I've read by this author and le t me tell you it certainly ain't my last!

this story follows Viktor a mafia Russian boss that needs to catch someone that betrayed him but on his way he meets Amaia. Viktor is cruel but also playful person that's very self assured while Amaia is a meek but feisty person that's very insecure about her weight and how she looks. One of my favorite things has to be how he takes care of her after a scene or just in general. I loved the spice it was just right and fun to read. This was a fun spicy read. Definitely recommended

I enjoyed it. It's definitely a good mafia type novella. There were parts that made me cringe a bit,especially at the start. I don't know how I would feel if I was in her place, but the story progressed well.
I'm interested in reading the rest of the novellas. This was the first book I read by Darcy Embers, and I do enjoy her writing so I may have to look into more books by her.

Viktor and Amaia
I enjoyed the dark, romance, mafia storyline. It moved quickly and kept my attention.
There was a bit of action, crazy times and lots of steam.
Viktor and Amaia together were fire. The banter and chemistry was so good.
I think they were both what the other needed.
I think it was a great read and the ending was perfect!

Viktor sees Amaia and is instantly obsessed with her. He starts stalking her and watching her. She is attracted to him, but is too dedicated to her ballet. He doesn’t give her a choice and seduces her. He finds out she has his enemies blood but can’t stay away. Can they be together? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing book. love Viktor and Amaia and their character development. Great supporting characters. The book is intense with the twist and turns and spice. This is my first book by this author definitely not my last.

A short and spicy, enemies to lovers mafia romance novella.
It's labeled as dark, but I wouldn't say that it is darker than any other mafia book, so you can pinpoint a lot of what is going to happen. A nice quick read overall.
