Picked this out randomly from my bookshelf this morning. These cards are specifically made for choosing at random certain yoga positions, explaining what they do for your body and soul. I did 5 today and am quite content. This I would recommend for people who, like me, don't have time to attend Yoga classes but remain interested in it.
Got this as a free promo item when I worked at Borders years back and finally decided to use it. This is a physical set, not a Kindle thing like the faulty info shows.
I decided to pick a random card each day at work and try it. some were pretty good, a lot were "there is no way my body will bend like this" but I made a good faith effort.
It's a pretty good way to get one to stretch more. I did find some of the poses difficult and hard to understand especially while doing them, but that could be due to my weight.
Now that I'm done I'm going to....start over and see if I can do them better in the next 50 days
Whether you are new to yoga or more experienced, this is an easy, approachable way to learn and do yoga. I like the variety of poses and breathing techniques, along with the benefits and mantras listed on each card. I now do a little bit of yoga every day due to this deck since I tell myself I only have to do one card, and yet I end always end up doing more. A short instruction guide is also included with some suggested routines.
