This story line did a fantastic job of emphasizing different types of love throughout life & how feelings can resurface with different meanings as time goes on & people experience internal growth versus demise.

I love this book!! It was well written and i love taylor swift themed books. I love Olivia and Stephens relationship. The playlist was perfect and i couldn’t have been so excited for each chapter. I read this book in one sitting and i loved every minute of this book. I definitely recommend!

justice for Beth ✊🏿 some constructive criticism: Beth, as a character in the book, should not have been portrayed as a villain. Villains typically embody malicious intent, deceit, or cruelty, traits that Beth fundamentally lacks. A more nuanced portrayal of Beth would have allowed readers to understand her actions within the context of her own struggles, motivations, and experiences. By delving into her background and emotions, the narrative could have depicted Beth as a complex individual shaped by circumstances rather than reducing her to a one-dimensional antagonist. This would have added depth to the story, fostering empathy among readers and challenging traditional notions of hero and villain dichotomies. Ultimately, a more thoughtful portrayal of Beth could have enriched the narrative by exploring the shades of gray in her character, offering a more compelling and nuanced reading experience.

I think this book was very well written, especially as one’s first published work. I really enjoyed the emotions by Stephen and Olivia. I liked the pace and the idea behind their struggles. It was hard for me not to dislike them even at times when I would be screaming at the book for them to just kiss and make up. Also, I saw another comment regarding Beth. I don’t think that part should contribute to a one-star review. I think the portrayal of Beth was very well handled as she was not a main character and rather just a stepping stone representing the strength and growth of a dying friendship. However, maybe it could be interesting to see a plot of what happened before. Like with Beth, Cam, and Olivia.
