A masterpiece. Author Chris Harrison, with great skill and sensitivity, weaves a thread of morality into this lurid miasma of gratuitous, exploitative sex (it's a bit like discovering a delicate, silk lace négligée in a drawer otherwise filled with brightly coloured thongs made of some stretchy, hard-to-pronounce ''space-age'' material. Come to think of it, the aforementioned ''thread of morality'' was actually just crudely tacked on at the end, but let's not nitpick): namely, that the redemptive power of love is more important than money or gratuitous, exploitative sex.
So really, this is a wholesome, uplifting story - which just happens to contain a lot of gratuitous, exploitative sex. Highly recommended.
