How I Became a Therapist in Another World: Vol. 1-4 Omnibus

Rate this book
After an unexpected accident, Cat wakes up in a world where dragons terrorize the countryside and demons feed on the insecurities of humans, elves and orcs alike. She’s in a new body, younger than she used to be, but she still has the skills she studied and practiced in her own life — and now, she’s got magic behind it.

To get by in this world, Cat — now named Lavender — will need to forge new connections, unravel a mystery, and learn how to ride a horse. From a cozy farming town to a serpent-infested mountaintop to the end of the world and back, Lavender works to build a new life, help others in need, and maybe even catch the eye of a dashing lady orc along the way.

High society balls! Wilderness camping! Magical showdowns! A light novel-inspired, LGBT-inclusive four-part novella series about one thing every angsty anime series and fantasy novel could Therapy.

C.A. Moss, who also writes slice-of-life fantasy as S.E. Robertson, is a fan of science fiction and fantasy novels, shoujo and pretentious arty anime, and indie video games with a lot of talking, as well as quilting, cooking and gardening. Despite the cottagecore vibe of that last bit, they are generally a trash goblin. They live in the northeastern US.

I'm still not sure what I missed, but somehow the things speculated about in the first books suddenly were an established fact.
Other than that it was a fun distraction while I was sick in bed. I might return for the next books later.
