Completely devoured this book!!! An amazing sequel, the perfect continuation. Jace and Sealyn’s marriage is still being tested. His family is still on a mission to destroy and become all powerful. The Emerald Queen and her magic will protect her people and the people of all the kingdoms. She is on a mission to break the curses that have plagued each kingdom, but it won’t be easy. I loved the creature description in the back of the book! The character art was a fantastic touch!!! This is an absolutely must read series!!!

War. Betrayal. Dragons. Curses. Mammoths. Friendship. Magic. This one has amped it all up! Picking up the pieces after the war she was not exactly prepared for Sealyn is now faced with the task of trying to secure Len Nove the place where time stands still. Sealyn needs to get there before Queen Corentine. But she doesn't know enough about the place that once housed mammoths before the big betrayal. The legend goes that these beasts along with many people were frozen in time. Sealyn will have to find a way to save them and bring them out of their thousand year slumber. But something is proving to be difficult. The old magic has been awoken and with that creatures and traitors are forming. This one is full of adventure. The battle scenes have drastically upped since the last book. It also puts Sealyn in a position to be tested as queen with her group of people she keeps with her. Will they get to Len Nove before its too late? Will they break the curse and save the frozen people and mammoths of Len Nove? Will Stotlands queen prove to be the evil queen that she truly is?

Ms.Maegwen has done it again! This novel impressed me so much that I wish I could give it a 10 star rating. New mythical creatures were introduced such as unicorns, mammoths, and dragons. My favorite creature from this series is the exiguums, which are miniature fuzzy elephants that love attention. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the giant green phoenix that has healing powers that can provide 6 months of treatment in only 7 days. Wild Right?! To say that this novel had me in all of my feelings is an understatement! Whatever emotion you can think of, I experienced it while reading this book. Lady Corentine aggravates every nerve in my body and I hope she gets what she deserves. *Alexa play “Pray for You” by Jaron Lowenstein.* I won’t spoil this story for anyone, but certain characters deaths made me ugly snot cry. The ending left me absolutely flabbergasted and anxious to read the third book in this series “The Serpent Emerges”.

I have been meaning to write this review for some time, I love this series. And this book was just as good if not better than the first one. The letters and the art in the book added so much to it as you find yourself lost in the world that was created. Sealyn is just a wonderful queen. I also absolutely love Jace. And I swear the emotions I was feeling as I found myself lost in the pages kept me calling for more to the point I could not put the book down at all. I honestly cannot wait for the next one. I need to see where Sealyn and her friends go. Plus I love the little library of creatures at the end of the book.

Right from the get go there’s intense emotions bringing you to question everything and WOW-worthy twists that will have you shouting out loud! Prepare to be blown away by the magic and adventure awaiting…or should I say awakening? RUN AND READ IT Y’ALL!!! Can’t wait for Book 3

The second book in this series was absolutely fantastic! This is definitely when the series starts picking up and we can can imagine just what other challenges our Queen will face. And if I were still a teenager who could not foresee some events happening...this book 100% would have made me cry lol.

A Mammoth of Action

Loved this read, it was truly action packed. Every time I thought my heart would have a bit of time to recover its pace, a new section of intense action began. The character development & descriptiveness of not only their image but their actions was great. Looking forward to seeing what's next 🫶

GUYS! Go read The Emerald Queen Rises (which is absolutely great) so you can get your hands on this one! As awesome as the first book was, this one was even greater. The creatures in it, the rollercoaster of emotions, the adventures, the characters you love, and the ones you wish would just die already. It’s great from beginning to end.

Looking forward to book three 🤗 The Emerald Queen series is not one to miss.
