Shadow Boy: A Paranormal Thriller
Some things become more clear in the shadows…
When Officer Brett Mitchell is gunned down in the line of duty, he ends up in a coma, leaving his wife and three children devastated. Thinking it just a random act of violence, the family struggles to move on with their lives, hoping against hope that he will eventually wake up.
But all is not as it seems, when Brett’s autistic son, Dougie, begins to experience terrifying visions where he is visited by the mysterious entity he calls Shadow Boy. Dougie also begins to manifest powerful and frightening psychic abilities, even the ability to communicate with his comatose father.
Inexplicably, Dougie discovers there’s an insidious, criminal element plotting to finish what they started, and that his father’s life is in terrible danger. The boy must overcome the limitations of his autism, the persecution of a vicious bully, and the prejudices placed upon him—even by the people who love him most—in order to save his father and possibly his whole family.

7 books18 followersHello, my name is Brady Longmore. Thanks for stopping by my page and having a look at my work. I am a native and lifelong resident of South East Idaho. As far back as I can remember I have been fascinated by tales of the paranormal, and mysterious legends. I have always relished those cold chills that spill down the spine during a good ghost story. And the sense of mystery and wonder that tickle the imagination when hearing eyewitness accounts of a Sasquatch sighting, or a UFO encounter.
A little over twenty years ago, I found myself on a train ride to Budapest, Hungary from an outlying town in the Hungarian interior. I was returning to America, after being away for two years, and wondering what I was going to do with the rest of my life. Before I knew it, I had a notebook open and ended up spending the rest of the trip outlining an idea for a novel. It was to be the first outline of many.
It might have taken a while but, finally, here I am. I hope you enjoy my work. I can't emphasize enough what your support and patronage means to me.

What a thrill ride!
The author does an excellent job of creating each character, then he lets you into their heads. I found myself even sympathizing with the dirt bag characters, at several points in the story.
Compassion comes easily for families in law enforcement, especially the Mitchell family with their autistic boy, turned hero, when he discovers his special abilities.
You will enjoy the rich detail the author skillfully uses to bring his readers into the story.
Shadow Boy may not be appropriate for young readers. Those disposed to taking advantage of that group will be brought to task and made to feel like the predators they are.

Hooked me from the start
Brady Longmore has done it again! He knows how to create likable characters that draw you in with his believable dialog and story lines. Like his other books, this flows so naturally and keeps your attention throughout. Although this is a pretty lengthy book, I didn't want it to end! I certainly look forward to reading many more books by Brady and I wish him much success.

wow!
Another incredibly well written suspenseful thriller. This book kept me up well past my bedtime because I could not stop reading. I had to know what was going to happen next. Brady Longmore is as talented an author as I have ever read…and I read a lot. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a thrill ride. Can’t wait for then next one.

My rating 5 stars. OMG what a ride! I was sceptical about the rating, everyone else gave! Silly me! What an exceptional read …it kept me wanting to read more and more! I groaned when I had to take a break and go out for dinner! This was my first outing with this author … I will be definitely he checking out more of his stuff. I highly recommend.

Shadow Boy Rocked It
As Brady's other books did, this book had me glued to it until the end. He really does an outstanding job and knows how to bring the characters to life. Very good read!
