In the middle of an ordinary workday, a high-rise suddenly goes under full lockdown to contain a deadly riot. There’s no explanation given, all lines of communication inside the building have been severed, and the only person with the slightest clue about what’s going on is the reclusive billionaire who lives on the top floor. like different surreal plays had a baby
Imagine combining the play version of Asteroid City with thriller/drama. I was always intrigued about what would happen next, and I couldn’t predict any of the outcomes. I enjoyed reading this, and it reminds me of other “out there works”. Maybe like “Falling Sideways,” or “Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse”. Read it for fun.
