"Have you ever had one of those days where it seems like absolutely nothing goes right?
Yeah. Me too. "Anna's day was one for the record books. Just when it seemed as if nothing else could possibly go wrong, she gets a text from a man at an unknown number asking someone named Susan out for a drink. The text from a stranger which started out as a mistake quickly turned into an unexpected friendship…that is until feelings became involved. Suddenly lines began to blur, questions can’t be answered, and the geographical distance between them seemed to grow. Add in a handsome fellow art student with a surprising confession, a creepy ex-boyfriend that won't go away, plus the looming Spring Art Show, and Anna's life starts to feel like it's turned upside down. Is it possible for a text message from a stranger to turn into a relationship? Will Anna take the leap into the unknown or is there something holding her back?
A life-long love of reading coupled with pandemic lockdown is what initially prompted Ella to finally take all the stories floating around in her head and put them together on paper.
Ella writes the kinds of romance stories she likes to read with sexy, funny, nice guys and strong, smart, sassy women... tossing in a healthy dose of awkwardness, a whole lot of drama, a sprinkle of comedy, a ride on the emotional roller coaster and a little bit of sparkle for everyone.
As a firm believer in true love, Ella's romance stories usually result in a "happily ever after." Whatever the ending, a fun ride is guaranteed!
Ella is living out her own happily ever after with her Prince Charming. After seventeen years together he still gives her butterflies and makes her heart race. They live together with their children and a small heard of rescue dogs.
Thanks to Torch Lit Ink for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Right Number by Ella Sparkle delivers adorable texting banter and a cheesy, feel-good romance. The storyline is sweet and entertaining, but the execution felt a bit rushed, leaving some moments underwhelming. While the character development was decent, it lacked the depth needed to make their journey truly memorable.
A fun, light read for rom-com fans, but it doesn’t quite reach its full potential.
I'm a sucker for texting banter, so I knew I had to check out this story of an accidental connection via a wrong number text. Anna is an art student in her junior year of college, trying to navigate her entry into the prestigious Spring Art Show, while fending off the creepy advances of her ex, Oliver, and seeing if anything more than friendship exists between her and sweet fellow art student, Liam. One night she gets a text message from a guy named Mason, asking her out to dinner after meeting at a bar the other night, only she is not the woman he met. Not quite believing that he has the wrong number, Mason is persistent in his messaging, and instead of immediately blocking, Anna volleys back and forth with him, curious where this will go. From there, they start texting daily, with a rule of never sending a photo, and Anna finds herself more connected to the mystery man across the screen than the men in front of her. I didn't realize at first that this was a new adult story with collage age characters, so at first I was a bit hesitant and felt a disconnect to the characters themselves. However, I have the emotionally stunted relationship skills of a twenty year old and prefer to cultivate my connections over the Internet versus real life, so on that level, I deeply connected to Anna and Mason's "situationship." At times I felt like Mason was expecting too much and was pushy, and the irony is that all the miscommunication occurred once they actually met in person, making you wonder if sometimes online relationships are better left in fantasy land than real life.
💖 Thank you to Ella Sparkle and Torch Lit Ink for a copy of Right Number to review.
Author: Ella Sparkle Book: Right Number Series: Getting It Right Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Right Number by Ella Sparkle was such a cute, quick read that I was not able to put it down and finished it within one day. The cute romcom includes my favorite tropes of accidental “meetings”, leap of faith, lots of humor, and top-tier best friends.
SOOOO CUTE! This story made my heart all happy! Anna is having the worst day ever and gets a text from a random number. She decides to answer and it turns out that some girl gave the wrong number to a guy at the bar. Anna decides to keep answering these texts and as the story goes along we see this relationship grow! Clearly it was the right number in the end ;)
I absolutely loved this super sweet and fun romcom! The banter was on point, the story was so cute with a great ending. I was so engaged I read it in one sitting! No spice needed!
A cute rom-com featuring two people whose chance meeting changes everything. . . but they don't meet in person.
After the worst day of her life, Anna wasn't expecting a text message from a stranger to make her day a little less miserable. But when Mason texts her thinking that she is some girl named "Susan" that is just what happens. Oddly enough, Anna feels like she can be more open with her new texting buddy than she can with most of the people in life. What starts out as an unexpected friendship quickly evolves into something a little more complicated. Anna thinks she may be falling in love with Mason, but is that possible when they have never met in person and she has several other men in her life that are interested in her romantically. With a big deadline for an art show that she is submitting her photography in looming and her feelings in shambles, Anna must work towards untangling her emotions and determine what she really wants for her future.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting to like this book as much as I did. I'm still pretty new to adult romances, but I've hit the age in which college/new adult romances just hit really hard. And this one did not disappoint!
"Right Number" follows Anna, a junior in college who is majoring in photography, which is really neat. I love when the arts are implemented into stories, so that had me liking Anna from the get-go. Our intro to Mason was interesting due to the fact that we only get to meet him through text messages and phone calls for the majority of the book. The aspect of these two falling in love through text really pushes the limits of online dating, and I found it really endearing.
As a socially awkward girl who doesn't know the first thing about flirting or what to do with her hands, getting to know someone through texting seems perfectly natural. I feel that many people get too hung up on the physical side of relationships, even before they truly get to know a person. I think this can hinder the process of getting to know someone and establish an emotional connection first, so it was really cool to see this done well in this novel. I know for some people physical and sexual compatibility is one of their highest priorities in a relationship, but it's not for me, so I was pleased to see the characters in this book agree with me. I think it would be very difficult for me to fully fall for someone I'd never met before, but I really appreciate Sparkle's perspective on this.
Anna has to grapple with a pretty difficult love triangle in this one. We obviously know about Mason, the mysterious man she encounters over text. But there is also Liam, a fellow art student that she's known for over three years. He is super sweet and thoughtful, so I could see how difficult it would be to choose between these two. I think this is one of the first love triangles that I read in which I genuinely liked both of the guys (though it is pretty obvious from the start how it will pan out in the end). And there is also Oliver, her creepy ex-boyfriend that doesn't seem to know the definition of no. He is obviously not a romantic option on the table, but man did he add to Anna's stress and added fuel to the fire of complicatedness.
Beyond the actual romance and the plot, the thing I adored most was the characters. Anna is a spunky, yet awkward female main character, and Mason's odd sense of humor and nerdiness compliments her quite well. Sarah and Bree, Anna's suite mates and best friends, are truly the kindest, most supportive friends that will do anything for their girl. Everyone needs friends like these two gals, and I'm glad that I have people that I can equate to them in my life. Liam is also so understanding and takes everything that Anna puts him through with such grace. Once again, I would be honored to have someone like Liam in my life.
There was a short time in this book that I was really worried that it was going to get too negative and toxic for me to enjoy, but things turned around rather quickly. I understand why the third act conflict happened in this one, but I wish these two would have communicated with each other from the start rather than both just assuming things and flying off the handle; that is truly how rock solid relationships fall apart. I was also a little disappointed to see how quickly Anna and Mason turned sensual after meeting each other, but I'm probably in the minority when it comes to not wanting a man to immediately kiss me after only knowing each other long distance for almost a year. This bump in the road and the way that Anna reacted were pretty much the only things I wasn't one hundred percent sold on, and even then, I know exactly why these things occurred.
I adored the ending to this one. I like how openly it talks about the difficulties of long distance relationships and what it takes for them to really thrive. This has got to be one of the first long distance relationship books that I have read that I actually believed that the couple could stick together and nothing would blow up. Every couple has there ups and downs, but I loved seeing the aftermath of the relationship rather than just letting the romance go at the end. The epilogue was also so cute, and I love how Sparkle tied texting into that specific moment of their lives; it was seriously adorable.
Overall, I really adored my time with "Right Number." It was funny, romantic, honest, and didn't shy away from the hard times while still keeping the atmosphere light. I am glad that I was given the chance to read this one and am very intrigued to check out the rest of the volumes in this series. Initially I thought the other books were going to follow Sarah and Bree's happily ever afters, but upon looking, I saw that the sequel is actually about Liam (which is in itself kinda a spoiler I suppose, but there is no avoiding it). I love Liam as a character, so I would very much lap up the opportunity to read his romantic endeavors. I would totally recommend this one to people who are lovers of college romances or new adult romances, especially if you are an artsy person or are intrigued by the ups and downs of long distance relationships.
Right Number, by Ella Sparkle, was a fun and quick read about a text message to the wrong number and how, sometimes, the wrong number turns out to be the right number. Anna randomly gets a message from Mason when he's double-checking on a date with someone he thinks is a girl named Susan. She quickly lets him know it's the wrong number and that she doesn't know anyone named Mason. He replies, and it becomes a fast stream of texts that Anna had never planned. From there, the friendship between Mason and Not-Susan (Anna) takes off as they text each other almost daily. Their friendship grows via text as Anna's friendship grows in person with another student in the art program, and she has to decide which guy is the one for her.
This story was cute, and I loved the idea of Anna and Mason getting to know each other the way they did. Using texting conversations to build a friendship unquestioningly allowed them to learn about each other in a way that wasn't only about attraction. Anna experienced the excitement of waiting for Mason's texts and appreciating his sense of humor and love for puppy and kitten gifs, much to her dismay. As there can be with texting, there was a lot of misconstrued conversation and miscommunication as they figured their friendship out, and it was well-written and very realistic. So many things can be taken differently than they were intended via text, and feelings can sneak up on someone when they least expect it, so the feelings of jealousy and being unsure about your place in someone's life are entirely normal. There were moments when Mason's insecurities led to him becoming over the top and blasting Anna with jealous texts, which felt like a little much. But it is understandable how emotions can run awry in situations like this. I just had hoped for a little more maturity from him. Anna and Mason had to navigate those feelings and determine how much they meant to each other. I enjoyed Liam as another love interest for Anna and felt that his presence added to the story and gave Anna the perfect opposite to decide what she wanted. He was there for her when creepy Oliver wouldn't take no for an answer and, indeed, was a friend to her. Oliver's creepy ex-factor was well written, and he came off as a sleazy, gross artistic ex who was only in it for the control and the art 'inspiration'. Overall, Right Number was an entertaining story full of fun banter via texting, miscommunication, and learning to talk things out when misunderstandings try their best to tear you apart.
"Actually, I think she may have given me the right number."
Thank you, Ella Sparkle, for a fun, quick read. My thoughts in this review are my own.
I'm a sucker for books that includes text conversations between the main characters, so I jumped at the chance to read this one. It is such a cute closed door romance I found myself smiling the whole time I read it. Anna is a college Junior Art student on the east coast and is having a horrible, terrible day. That is, until she gets a text from Mason. He's on the west coast and is looking for a woman named Susan he recently met at a bar to ask her out for a drink. Anna tells him he's got the wrong number, but instead of that being the end of that, they keep texting each other. Their conversation continues until a sweet friendship begins.
Anna had a bad experience with a creepy ex-boyfriend, so she's hesitant to open herself up to another relationship. I can completely understand this and love the support she gets from her two roommates. She and Mason's conversations are fun and flirty. Their banter is so cute and as they open up to each other, it's no surprise Anna's feelings are mixed up. How can she feel so comfortable and invested in someone she's never met?
To add to the chaos, fellow art student Liam asks her out on a date. Liam is talented, cute, and one of the nicest guys she's ever met. He is the perfect guy and would make an amazing boyfriend. Too bad Anna feels no spark with him. I can understand her desire to try to make it work with Liam. Who doesn't know the sweetest guy that would make the perfect boyfriend, but you only seem him as a friend? Life would be less crazy if you could just be with him. Anna struggles to figure out if her lack of spark with Liam is because he's strictly in the friend zone, or because she's secretly flirting with Mason? She's never met Mason but her feelings feel much more real with him than Liam. What's up with that?
The book is a quick and fast read that I read in one sitting. The writing flowed effortlessly and kept me hooked until I found out how it ended. The swoony moments made me smile and are so fun to read - even if you know that there is no way any of it would happen in real life. I mean, we read to escape, so why not swing for the fences? I know I'm not mad at it. There are bumps in the road and a little bit of heartache for Anna, Liam and Mason, but I loved the ending. This book is on Kindle Unlimited, so download it today!
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Right Place. (This one is also available on Kindle Unlimited)
Thank you so much Ella Sparkle for giving me the chance to read and review this book. All opinions are my own.
I absolutely loved this book! The first chapter was written in such an engaging way that I was hooked immediately. A love triangle, a texting meet-cute, and a long-distance relationship—what’s not to love? The themes in this book were beautifully explored, and Ella Sparkle’s writing made me feel so connected to the story.
I was completely invested in their relationship, and it was incredible to experience. The side characters were also fantastic, so much so that I’d love books about each of them! Ella Sparkle has created such well-rounded characters that even the secondary ones shine. The miscommunication trope, which comes naturally with texting, was handled so well, and I enjoyed every moment.
This book was funny, romantic, and honest. It didn’t shy away from portraying tough times while keeping a light and heartfelt atmosphere. Ella Sparkle has officially made it onto my list of favourite authors.
I’m so glad I had the chance to read this ARC, and I’m excited to dive into the other volumes in the series. If you love college or new adult romances, especially ones that touch on the challenges of long-distance relationships or feature artistic vibes, this one’s for you. Highly recommend!

Wow - Right Number is a cute and quirky rom-com with a plot straight out of my early 2000s life. Anna and Mason meet in the craziest of ways. All thanks to Susan. A kind lady who gave Mason the wrong number one night at the bar. Unbeknown to Mason when he went to text Susan, instead he texts Anna, our spunky college student doing her best to survive the days and get selected for the Spring Art Show. The love story between Anna and Mason blossoms quickly with an almost instant attraction but the catch is they live on two different coasts. Neither have met before and neither knows what the other looks like. Can they navigate the world of long distance all the while Anna has multiple men vying for her attention and her heart. Overall this is a fast paced fun read that I truly enjoyed.

Whenever you’re in the mood for a sweet romance with a great plot and lovable mmc’s id always suggest Ella for this. She writes simple fall in love stories where two people connect and grow something strong throughout the book.
This book had me reading right through cause I wanted to get to the HEA and find out how these two strangers, after months of simply talking and texting each other, finally meet. Mason simply asked for a girls number one night and the girl gave him a fake number which ended up being Anna’s. A girl he never met who lives clear across the country. But even though Anna wasn’t the girl he thought he was after she very quickly became a girl he wanted to get to know. Their sweet and fun banter throughout their growing friendship on the phone grew into a lot more. But with walls up, Anna wasn’t so sure if she would ever meet the man who made her laugh and smile. Something she doesn’t do much of.
This isn’t a steamy romance and is closed door but the banter and sweet plot makes up for that. The ending was perfect and it was a joy to really read a couple fall in love with words and conversation before they meet. I’m the end they are even stronger and you truly leave knowing these two were soulmates. Everything happens for a reason and this story proves it.
The premise of this book is good - Anna’s bad day gets better when Mason is given a fake number by a girl at a bar and starts to turn her day around as they begin talking. Unfortunately, the execution wasn’t very good.
The texts sounded like they were written by a 65 year old who doesn’t know how to print to PDF - so formal and stiff - versus 20-somethings in GenZ. Anna even said she hated emojis and memes, when that’s the language of the generation.
The love triangle was so awkward. She called Liam ‘nice’ at least 20 times, convincing nobody she actually liked him. Yet he started painting her picture for their art show in a grand romantic gesture after their 2nd date. And Mason, a 25 year old, was jealous of Liam going out with Anna when he had only ever texted her and was living on the opposite side of the country. Mason, in general, was very pushy and got his feelings hurt and gave Anna the silent treatment way too often for someone who was supposed to be an adult and who wasn’t actually in a relationship with her.
Overall, there were some cute parts of the book, but mostly it was a struggle to get through because both Anna and Mason were pretty immature.
Thanks to Torch Lit Ink for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Right Number is a solid, slow-burn, strangers to lovers romance which was surprisingly realistic.
As someone who has formed a lot of friendships over the internet with some really wonderful people, I was able to relate to Anna very much. As much as online friends can bring you joy in life, it can also be hard to trust them fully. Anna’s struggle with taking the leap with Mason is very relatable.
However, one thing that kept this from being rated higher for me was the pacing. The majority of the book was centered on their time apart and a love triangle and I feel like we didn’t have a good balance of time with the central couple physically together. Plus at times Anna frustrated me a lot and I really wanted to scream at her.
Overall, I think this book did a great job of showing what a long-distance friendship/situationship/relationship looks like. Both the MCs were strong central figures and were able to stand up on their own. Anna also had some well-developed friendships and relationships outside of what she had with Mason.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📱Right Number (Book 1 in Getting It Right series) 📝by Ella Sparkle!
This was such a cute and fun read while also incorporating plenty of drama! Anna is a college student who receives a text out of nowhere one night from a guy who said they met at the bar… only thing is it wasn’t actually meant for her. She’s quick to tell this mystery man on the other end of the line that he has the wrong number but the conversation does not stop there. 🤭🩷
To add on some drama, we also have Liam come into the picture who is quite smitten with our Anna. I absolutely love his character (perhaps even more than Mason🫣) and I thought his relationship with Anna was so sweet.
Alove triangle, texting meet cute, long distance relationship… how could you not love this one? 🥰
This book was a very entertaining read and I love how the story centered around college life (being a 22 year old myself!). I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to the next book in the series!

Right Number by Ella Sparkle is such a charming and feel-good read! 💕 a nice little college romance. This closed-door romance is perfect for anyone craving a sweet story full of witty banter.
Anna’s day couldn’t get worse—until a random text from a guy who was given the wrong number completely flips things around. Instead of ignoring him, like any sane person would, she decides to reply 🤦🏽♀️📱. What starts as a simple text quickly turns into an unexpected friendship and, eventually, something a lot more complicated. 💘 👀
But Anna’s life is far from picture-perfect. Between juggling school deadlines, dodging a creepy ex 🥴, and dealing with a friend who’s been crushing on her forever, things get chaotic fast!! Thankfully, she has her two besties/roommates Bree and Sarah who are always there to offer some much-needed advice (or at least laugh with her through the mess! Serious friend goals 🫶🏼).
With steady pacing, relatable characters, and just the right balance of humor and heart, Right Number is a really fun and entertaining read. This one definitely deserves a spot on your TBR! 🌟
Right Number is a solid, slow-burn romance with some You’ve Got Mail vibes going on. It was honest, romantic, funny, and surprisingly realistic.
Anna is a spunky but slightly awkward Junior Art Student on the East Coast. After a really bad day, she receives a text from a man, Mason, looking for a girl he met. Mason is a software engineer from the West Coast, and even though there is little chance of them meeting the two start a pen pal type of relationship via text messages.
I think this book did a great job of showing what a long-distance friendship/situationship/relationship looks like. There was jealousy, confrontation, the hardships of travel, and a lot of communication. You also had two strong central figures because they had to be able to stand up on their own and Anna had some well-developed friendships and relationships outside of what she had with Mason. I will say that my favorite part of this book was the friendships Anna had with her two roommates. They reminded me a lot of me and my friends in our 20's giving each other the “come to Jesus” talks we needed about life and boys.
The one thing that kept this from being rated higher for me was the pacing. The majority of the book was centered on their time apart and the love triangle and I feel like we didn’t have a good balance of time with the central couple physically together.
Thank you to Ella Sparkle and Torch Lit Ink for allowing me to review this book. All opinions are my own.
This book was really sweet - featuring a romance story fit for the 21st century! The fact that the majority of the relationship between Anna and Mason develops over the phone (whether it be texting or calling) was a take on romance that I really appreciated; I feel like a lot of romance books highlight the physical attraction between characters first and foremost and then gradually add in the emotional connections. Because of this, I loved the development in the friendship between Anna and Mason; it was clear that they were good for one another, especially compared to Anna’s past relationship. Personally, I am not a fan of third act breakups/conflicts, so that part of this story was a miss for me. I get the desire to involve some drama, but I thought the love triangle angle did this well enough without the need for the third act conflict. Nonetheless, I loved the way the resolution came for this book and thought Anna and Mason’s story was adorable!
Tropes Include: - Strangers to Lovers - Love Triangle - Wrong Number, Right Person - Long Distance Love
Right Number had me laughing, swooning, and reflecting all at once. Anna’s bad day takes a wild turn when a random text from Mason sparks a friendship full of memes, laughs, and complicated feelings. Between a love triangle and a creepy ex (yuck), there’s plenty of drama—but it’s balanced with so much heart. 💕
The characters felt so real, and their struggles with miscommunication hit hard—it’s a reminder of how tough (but important!) it is to share your true feelings. I especially loved Sarah and Bree, Anna’s ride-or-die friends who are incredibly supportive and root for her but also keep it REAL. Everyone needs friends like that! 💖👯
There were so many laugh-out-loud moments that also had me kicking my feet, but the story also didn’t shy away from the messy parts of relationships. I definitely wanted to slap some sense into the MCs a few times but I wont say too much!!! If you’re into college romances or long-distance love stories, don’t miss this one! 📚✨
P.S I’m already excited to dive into the next book!
RIGHT NUMBER was the right mix of rom and com at the right time for me. I needed a lighthearted story with witty banter and Ella Sparkle delivered just that.
This sweet romance starts when Anna receives a text message from an unknown number in the middle of an awful day. Mason is the sender of the text and they begin an unlikely friendship; getting to know each other one message and meme at a time. There’s a love triangle, a creepy ex-boyfriend, and a three hour time difference making things complicated.
I occasionally got frustrated with the immature reactions of the MCs until I remembered they are super young and, well, somewhat immature. Ultimately, those reactions added authenticity to the novel. I loved that Anna’s roommates were supportive in that “we aren’t going to let you get your heart broken” way.
Thanks to Ella Sparkle and Torch Lit Ink for the gifted copy in exchange for my unbiased review.
This story starts off with Anna having the worst day of her life and she ends up receiving a text message from Mason, who has the wrong number. She tells him that she isn’t who he is looking for, but little did she know how wrong she would be about that.
Anna quickly finds herself drawn to Mason as they continue to message each other despite the fact that they’re complete strangers. Their friendship develops and soon, so does their feelings. The problem is, they live on opposite sides of the country.
Finding it useless to have feelings for someone across the country, Anna starts dating Liam, who she hopes to feel sparks with as time continues. However, she quickly finds herself torn between both men and isn’t sure how to navigate her feelings.
This book has no spice, and is a slow burn romantic comedy. I did enjoy the book overall—even if sometimes the texting parts could be a little cringy lol but it wasn’t something that made me like the book any less.
I’m a total banter junkie—especially when it comes to texting! That’s what pulled me into this adorable book! It’s a young adult rom-com sprinkled with some genuine themes. Meet Anna, a feisty college gal with a passion for photography, who gets a surprise text from Mason, a tech-savvy older dude. He was hunting for Susan but ended up texting Anna instead. She was having a rough day and wasn’t in the mood for anything, but Mason's texts were like sunshine on a rainy day!
Then there’s Liam, a classmate with a serious crush on Anna, who’s trying to win her heart while she’s busy falling for Mason via text. Cue the love triangle drama! Now, I’m usually not one for love triangles, but Ella Sparkle nailed it without drowning in melodrama. The story was charming, and the characters are downright lovable! All in all, I had a blast with this book and totally recommend it to anyone craving a sweet rom-com with a youthful twist and some real, relatable issues—without going too heavy!
Anna has had a day that is just not going right. It's almost like Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day for college students. And for a lot of us, it seems like it’s been a string of days that have not been going our way so if you need a light, pick-me up book, then look no farther than Right Number! A chance text message to the wrong number forges a relationship between Anna and Mason, time zones apart with no prior relationship and not even a photograph of one another. Between this mystery stranger and other boys on campus, Anna sure has the chance to explore what she is looking for in a relationship and she reminds us to never settle for anything less than the sparkle we all deserve. This adorably cute rom com is celebrating its first birthday today and deserves all the candles and fun today because it is a book definitely worth picking up to enjoy and I am excited to dive into the second book in the series!
Thank you Torch Lit Ink for giving me free copy in exchange for an honest review.
It was such a fun and easy read. I tried to read it quickly and if not for real life responsibilities, I would have finished it in one sitting.
The premise was simple—Anna was having a really bad day and then she received a text from a stranger, Mason, and they hit it off right away. The banter over text was adorable and you'd really find yourself suddenly smiling.
See, it was cute and entertaining but I may have a little issue with how easily they hit it off as I am not a fan of fast connections. I love me more enemies to lovers vibe. There were some moments where it felt a bit rushed and it just didn't hit the right spot for what it wanted to do, leaving it a little underwhelming.
Right Number is a fun, quirky rom-com perfect for quick, easy reads and palate cleansing.

This honestly was giving me love is blind vibes! Yeah the journey was messy but I honestly loved Anna and mason together they had me kicking my feet.
While having to read Anna lead on Liam, when I had a feeling about the painting, was so heartbreaking, I was glad to see him pop back into the end of the story for his happy ending.
I love the Bree and Sarah! They were such supportive friends! Everyone needs friends like them in their lives who tell you when you need to figure your shit out!

This was a cute romcom about Anna, who gets a wrong number text, that turns out to have the potential to be something more.
I really liked back and forth banter that Mason and Anna had in their text conversations. And Anna’s friends and roommates were such a delight too.
There is a little bit of a possible love triangle plot between Anna and a fellow art major, Liam, who is an absolute doll as well. Honestly, it was kind of hard to pick which guy I wanted her with.
The conflict of “will they, won’t they” and “can this work” was a little dragged out for me, but overall, I really enjoyed this book and would read more by this author.
Anna receives a random text message from an unknown number, and soon ends up texting regularly with Mason. They end up getting along really well although they live on opposite sides of the country. Closer to home, Anna begins seeing her friend Liam as more than just a friend. But is there a spark with him like there us with Mason? Somehow she has to choose between them.
I really enjoyed this cute, fun, romance story. I thought the characters were fun and their relationships seemed realistic. There were some ups and downs in the romance, and I found myself questioning which guy Anna should go for. A nice, easy read. New adult/college-age, closed door romance. I recommend to anyone looking for a light and easy read.
Thanks to @torchlitink for sending me a copy to read and review.
This was one of the cutest stories I have read in a very long time! Ella took me on an emotional rollercoaster. I could NOT put this book down as soon as I started!
Anna, our beloved FMC, really goes through it. She has herself stuck between a rock and a hard place and does a not-so-smooth job of getting herself out. Anna starts out as a confused and frustrated junior in college, having no idea how to handle such intense decisions. She goes through a complete metamorphosis and emerges with grace. Mason, one of our MMCs, has a stumbling entrance into Anna's life that leaves a lasting impression. Liam, another MMC, is about as sweet of a cinnamon roll that you could imagine. But, is sweetness enough?
This was such a delightful, heartfelt, and modern love story!
From the very first text, I was hooked by the unique premise and the charming, slow-burn connection that developed between Anna and Mason.
Their conversations were equal parts witty, emotional, and swoon-worthy. The tension of their growing feelings paired with the looming question of "what comes next?" kept me invested until the very end.
The story beautifully captures the excitement, uncertainty, and vulnerability of falling for someone who lives far away.
Overall, this book was a beautiful exploration of modern love, filled with relatable moments, laugh-out-loud humor, and heart-tugging romance.
A must-read for anyone who loves sweet, unconventional love stories with a touch of drama!
Anna's terrible day takes an unexpected turn when she receives a mysterious text message from Mason, marking the beginning of an unlikely friendship that blossoms through messages and memes, complicated by a love triangle, and a creepy ex-boyfriend.
This was such a cute, sweet and closed door romance! There was so much heartache in this.
The book features complex characters in complicated situations, each trying their best and opening their hearts to love and acceptance.
The ending did feel over-the-top and relied on miscommunication as a reasoning for drama, but overall I had a fun time reading this!
