A story of a reluctant billionaire who takes on his father’s empire, its dark secrets, and a fiery assistant he can’t get out of his head.
When Chase Stone’s estranged father dies, leaving his multibillion-dollar business to his children, no one is more surprised than him. Growing up outside of the high-stakes world filled with human vultures, Chase and his sister, Alex, are less than enthusiastic about stepping into their father’s shoes. That is until they learn of a half brother they didn’t know existed, and must find to share their inheritance with.
Piper Maddox was the elder Mr. Stone’s übercapable assistant—abruptly fired two weeks before his death. She knows everything about Stone Enterprises and the man who built it. But Piper has no desire to work for another member of the Stone family. Even one as down to earth as Chase.
Desperately needing financial security, Piper agrees to return so long as kissing up to Chase and accepting unwanted advances were not part of her job description. A task that becomes a serious hurdle for both of them. Piper and Chase scramble to find the third Stone sibling before the media does, sharing secrets along the way. Secrets that can bring them together or tear them irrevocably apart.

What to Expect: ➼ Workplace Romance ➼ Unexpected Billionaire MC ➼ Boss/Employee ➼ Unplanned Pregnancy ➼ Secret Half Brother ➼ Insta Love ➼ Family Secrets/Mystery ➼ First Book in a series ➼ Third Person POV
This was really cute. I imagine it would be particularly popular with single mom’s or women who have experienced an unplanned pregnancy outside of a stable/long-term relationship. Heck, I bet it would even be popular with a lot of married mom’s out there who wish their husbands were more invested in caring for them and their kids. I guess it makes sense that this book has resonated with so many women. Chase was obsessed with Piper from the jump and his words and actions were exactly what any woman would hope for and more. It was a little too insta love for me personally, but I can see the appeal.
In the author’s note, Catherine talks about her desire to use Piper’s character to address the shame associated with pregnancies outside of committed relationships. This perspective did add a little more gravity to the story. After learning she is pregnant, Piper struggles alone with her decisions on what to do next. She expects her family to be unsupportive and worries about the day when she will no longer be able to hide the pregnancy from her family and friends. She wrestles with the decision of whether or not to keep the baby and leans toward adoption mainly because of her fears of what others will think of her if she keeps it. Her struggles were well written and I imagine women who have lived through similar situations will find them to be very relatable.
I am not usually a fan of the billionaire romance trope, but the fact that Chase had just come into the money made his character a lot more palatable for me. He didn’t seem to care all that much about the money and he wasn’t raised with it so he still had a very down to earth vibe. I expected a little more intrigue from the mystery surrounding their half brother and their father’s will, but since this is a series, those details will likely be included in future books. I am assuming that there was foul play behind their father’s death, but I may be reading too much into things…
I am still perplexed by how abnormally high the ratings are. I would place this romance in the sickeningly sweet category which I guess is still a hit with the majority. 🙃 Both the ebook and the audio are available on Kindle Unlimited if you’re interested in checking this out! 🤍
✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼ ҉ ✼
Pre-read: 4.52 average rating, eh? 😏 I’ll be the judge of that…
It was neither the best nor the worst read for me. There wasn’t something to captivate me. Most of the aspects were either mediocre or farfetched. Also, the story continues in the next part. A warning would have been nice...
ALL OUR TOMORROWS (The Heirs Book #1) by Catherine Bybee is the start of a contemporary billionaire romance series. I normally do not read this subgenre, but I love Ms. Bybee’s style of writing, and these reluctant billionaires receive their financial windfall when their estranged father dies, so I gave it a try and I am very glad I did.
Chase and Alex Stone are shocked at the reading of their estranged father’s will. Both are successful, but the inheritance of their father’s business and money are at a completely different level. They also discover they have a half-brother out there somewhere that they never knew anything about and to complete the conditions of the will and share a third of their father’s wealth, they must find him.
Chase Stone has to learn all about his father’s business in a hurry to keep the vultures at bay. He learns his assistant has only been in the position for two weeks and his father’s previous assistant was fired abruptly. Chase digs into the situation and finds out the injustice of the firing and wants the straight shooting and intelligent Piper back to assist him.
Piper Maddox has no desire to work for another member of the Stone family, but when she meets Chase, she learns he is nothing like his father. She needs the financial security of the position, but she has a few rules. As they work together with Chase’s sister to stabilize the company and find the missing Stone heir before the press, they discover a chemistry that both fight, but neither can resist.
I really enjoyed this introduction to the Stone siblings and Chase and Piper’s romance. All the characters are fully developed and realistic. Chase is an endearing hero of strength and integrity, and Piper is an intelligent heroine who can smoothly handle the politics of a multi-billion-dollar company but has a very big secret in her personal life. The two together are perfect. All the secondary characters round out a varied cast of good and bad players with secrets that will be answered over the future books in the series. The search for the missing heir and the treachery in their father’s corporation and boardroom have the plot moving at a fast pace, while the romance is intertwined and moves along at a believable pace. The corporate intrigue and the discovery of the missing heir are slight cliffhangers at the end of the story.
I highly recommend this first book in this new billionaire contemporary romance series.
Omg! I love this story so much! ~~~~~~~~~~~ I’m a sucker for billionaire stories. I really am. This story has everything wonderful attached to it that we crave in a romance.
Wonderful characters who are heartwarming, kind, and loving, even with their circumstances. I love the main male lead, Chase. He is just a doll and Bybee could not have created a better partner for him in Piper. These two together are fire and I found myself tearing up at the relationship and steam they create together.
I think I’m even more excited that All Our Tomorrows is part of a new series and I cannot wait to find where all of this will lead.
But one thing good to know is that this story does not end on a typical cliffhanger. It gives us a natural close with the door still open for more to come in future stories. I cannot wait for more!! ~~~ * I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. * Full Review: https://amidlifewife.com/all-our-tomo...
4 stars! 🌟This book was good, but with all the hype around it, I was expecting a little more. 😅 Still, it wasn’t bad by any means! I was totally hooked by the whole "family empire, dark secrets, and reluctant billionaire" vibe, but there were a few moments that didn’t quite have the oomph I was hoping for. Also, that quote—“With the right bank account, I could be a very high-maintenance girl”—literally me 😂, like how did they know?!
Now let’s talk about Chase and Piper! 😍 Chase is the ultimate protective hero—charming, caring, and honestly, just swoon-worthy. His slow-burn romance with Piper had me melting. And their banter? Chef’s kiss 💋! Piper is just as amazing—smart, strong, and knows what she wants... except maybe when it comes to Chase. 😅 And can we talk about her adorable dog Kit? 🐾 Total heart-melter!
What I didn’t see coming was the intrigue around the missing half-brother! Like, I didn’t sign up for a mystery, but the family drama and secrets were so addicting. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough! 📖 And don’t even get me started on that ending... so unresolved, it left me dying to know what happens next! 😫 Even though I was a tad let down (I was hoping for more spice, less drama), I’m 100% ready for book 2. Bring it on!
📌 Content Warnings (CW): - Grief over a parent's death - Sexual harassment - Pregnancy (surprise!)
Overall, it’s a super fun and easy read—if you love family drama, slow-burn romance, and a little mystery, you’ll enjoy this one! Just don’t expect all the steam right away! 🔥
Chase Stone and his sister Alex are shocked when their father leaves them his multi-billion-dollar business upon his death. Both Chase and Alex were estranged from their father and didn't have much of a relationship with him. Not exactly sure how to go about running this business, they learn that the inheritance comes with strings attached. It seems that Chase and Alex have a half-sibling they never knew about. They must find this unknown sibling and split the inheritance into thirds. Neither sibling wants anyone to find out their secret, especially the board of directors. They decide to try to run the business as usual while letting their attorney do the searching.
Piper Maddox was Mr. Stone's assistant until he fired her two weeks prior to his death. She knows the business inside and out, so Chase convinces her to come work for him. He quickly takes her into his confidence and explains that they need to find the half-sibling as soon as possible. He doesn't know that Piper has her own secret that she hasn't shared with anyone.
This was a pleasant contemporary romance with no real surprises. I thought Piper's secret was obvious from the beginning. I did like the fact that both the hero and the heroine acted like adults throughout the story; and the author didn't throw any big misunderstanding into the mix. This is the first book in the series. I'm looking forward to the other siblings' stories. My rating: 4 Stars.
Chase's estranged billionaire dad just died and he and his sister Alex inherited EVERYTHING! They didn't expect a single penny and now they have to run this huge empire. But that's not all. They need to find their until recently unknown half brother - who inherited a third of everything too. And they don't want him to sell his shares to all those old board friends of their dads! Chase desperately needs the help of his dad's old assistant. Unfortunately she was fired two weeks ago....
Let the fun times begin...
══════════════
That was so super cute. I adored it! Piper is so sweet and capable and tough and sad and I just loved her and her adorable dog! And Chase is so adorable with his newfound billionaire situation. Too cute. They're so perfect together, but of course... what would people say!? Especially the few idiots on the board who would use every excuse to get dirt on the new owners. I loved reading this. We have so many adorable and sweet and funny and just too cute new-billionaire moments. But we also have some very serious and heartbreaking and mysterious and exciting moments. I just loved it and I can not wait to get the next two books! I need to know who Alex will find her happy end with and of course I need to know everything about the new brother!
ALL OUR TOMORROWS was such an adorable + funny + sweet + sparky + moving + just beautiful romance - I loved it! Run to your nearest book dealer for your own Chase - this one is mine!

I used to love contemporary and historical romance, but I don’t read a whole lot of either since sex took over for romance and smothered most of their books plotlines, depth and characterization. BUT… Ms. Bybee stands out as one of the few who still keeps an absolutely beautiful balance in all the aspects of a story truly well-written. And this one is a great example.
Now, don’t get me wrong. It isn’t anything deep that makes one question the meaning of life. It is a straight-up slice of contemporary life with its bruises, its joys and, of course, its romance. The characters are real and believable, making it easy to relate and respond to them and their circumstances.
I especially loved the way Ms. Bybee dealt with an unwanted pregnancy. She handled it with such aplomb, never judging any choice but allowing readers to see the struggle and the choices made. And, I also love that the characters of Chase and Piper are given time to allow their relationship to grow and deepen before jumping into bed. This makes it real and lovely and wonderful when it does happen.
The only drawback (and it’s a big one for me) is the HUGE cliffhanger at the end. This is the first time I have seen this author incorporate this strategy (admittedly I have missed two or three of her books, however) and I’m not happy about it. Yes, the “romance” part is at a good point when closing the book but every other major storyline within the book is precariously hanging with no answers in sight. *sigh*
Still, I would highly recommend the read if one is looking to relax and thoroughly enjoy a light, yet expertly crafted love story!
Absolutely loved this!! I was hooked from the start and that ending only makes me want the next book ASAP! This had an awesome heroine, a Hero you will fall in love with, and a plot that had me riveted to the pages. So good! Fast paced! I want more!
Family squabbles and estates are my catnip. I just love seeing how these situations work themselves out. This one was sorta messy, but in a good way in the end. I've read other Romance books by Catherine Bybee and I really liked her style of writing. Chase and Piper make for a wonderful romance duo. He is caring and protective and she is smart and incisive. They face some struggles, but thy make quite the team. This one ends with a little cliffhanger, not all the plot points are resolved, but that just makes me look forward to the next book. Enjoy!
Chase Stone and his sister Alex have had very, and I mean very, little contact with their billionaire father. He basically wasn't a part of their lives and wasn't generous with his money either. The kids were better off without him. He was a real douchebag. Then daddy dearest dies the leaves them this fortune and a mission: find the son he fathered while married to their mother and share the inheritance with him.
Piper Maddox was fired by Aaron Stone because she refused to let him sexually harass her. Total douchebag. She really needed her job, really, really needed it. She is not heartbroken that Stone Sr. dropped dead. When Chase seeks her out about returning, because, frankly, he and Alex hadn't a clue how to run the company, Piper says no. She may need the job, but she didn't need the grief. But, after some honesty about why she was fired and a hefty raise, Piper agrees to work for Chase and Alex. Chase can be very charming, but in a cute way, not a swarmy way as with dear old dead dad.
In order to succeed Chase and Alex need Piper's insights into the corporation, how it runs and who to watch out for. What none of them needed was the insane attraction that sparks between Chase and Piper. Or Piper's little problem. As they search for the missing heir, they get some help from a wonderful family and learn what a real family and true friends are all about.
My thanks to the Publisher and Author for providing a complimentary digital Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this novel via NetGalley. This is my fair, honest and personal review. All opinions are mine alone and were not biased in any way.
All Our Tomorrows is the first book in The Heirs trilogy. Chase and Alexandra Stone unexpectedly inherit their father's multi-billion dollar empire after being estranged from him for many years. However, mentioned in their father's will is a third sibling, a brother they knew nothing about. Piper, their father's assistant, was fired a few weeks prior to his death due to rejecting his unwanted advances. Being the only person that knew their father and the company well the siblings re-hire her to not only familiarize them with the company but also to assist with the search for their brother. She quickly becomes one of their most trusted allies and at the same time sparks begin to fly between Piper and Chase. Catherine Bybee is a great storyteller and gives us a captivating read!
Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for an arc of this novel in exchange for my honest review.
When Chase and Alex's father dies not only were they both in shock that their mean, estranged, grump of a father left them his entire estate including his company. They also learn they have a half brother they are to share everything with.
Chase and Alex decide to join forces and run their fathers company until they can find their brother and decide what to do. The problem is neither of them know the inner workings of the company, they decide to bring back their fathers former PA Piper who can teach them everything they need to know.
I LOVED Piper, she was kickass! It's been a while since I read a book with such a strong female lead character.
I enjoyed the mystery surrounding the long lost brother, I am looking forward to finding out why the lawyer was lying to them and more about Max.
I found the relationship between Chase and Piper moved VERY fast and it was a little to 'fluffy' for my taste.
The fluffiness did not take away any of the enjoyment I got from this book or the plot. A great read and I can't wait for the next one.
Warning: This book ends in a cliffhanger. Not a major one but enough to leave you hanging out for more.
Honestly, I am not a big fan of billionaire stories, but siblings Chase and Alex Stone grew up away from their estranged billionaire father. Each made their own mark on the world before their father died and left his empire to them and a half-sibling they didn’t know they had. The two of them will need to learn their father’s business and secretly find their brother before the board discovers their shares are split three-ways.
I loved the premise and the Stone family from the beginning, and was delighted to meet Piper Maddox and her protective dog. Piper was their father’s assistant before he fired her prior to his death. She knows the ins and outs of the business, contacts and schedule. That is why Chase is determined to rehire her. The chemistry was there from the start, but I loved the back-and-forth banter while they negotiated terms.
I loved Piper and her no sass attitude. Chase is charmed by the woman, but doesn’t want to cross boundaries, making the buildup to that first kiss delightful. Sizzling chemistry, almost kisses and saltine crackers, had me all in.
We meet secondary characters like Alex Stone, and her bestie, along with hotel billionaires who are down to earth, all about family and offer to lend a helpful hand. Meanwhile, we have the mystery of their half brother and Piper’s secret dilemma. I found myself fully invested and hoping for a happily ever after.
All Our Tomorrows was an addictive read filled with spice, heart and a swoon-worthy romance. I highly recommend taking this one along on vacation. I am looking forward to the Forgotten One, the next book in the Heirs series, releasing November 2024. This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer
Chase and Alex Stone feel so out of place at their fathers funeral, the heartfelt eulogies just make them uncomfortable as does everyones condolences. They never really knew their father since he divorced their mother and started hanging out with newer models. The reading of his will is a shocker, they inherit his massive hotel empire along with a half-brother no knows exists. Chase knows he needs help which he isn't going to get from his disgruntled deputy so turns to the woman who organised his work life until he dismissed her. Piper Maddox is in desperate need of a job but she's not sure if she's that desperate. Chases father left a nasty taste in her mouth and she's not sure if she wants to go for more. Interesting mystery told in the capable Catherine Bybee style
When I saw how many 5 stars this book got, I had to request it from NetGalley and I totally agree! What a great story with great characters. I’ve never read any books by this author but I look forward to many more. The book starts out at Chase and Alex’s father’s estranged father and it just gets better and better from there. Secrets, lies, all the makings for a terrific story line. Highly recommend this one. And it looks like they’ll be a sequel to this one so I’m already looking forward to the next one. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this early release in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
Contemporary Romance Series: The Heirs, #1 Release date 06-18-24 Narrated by Meg Sylvan. Length 12 hrs and 4 mins
This book follows Chase Stone who's estranged super rich father bequeath his business and other assets to Chase and Alex. To Chase's surprise he learns that they have a half brother. He always knew that his father was a womanizer but Chase and his sister never knew that they have a half sibling.
Piper Maddox was the elder Mr. Stone’s assistant—fired two weeks before his death. Piper knows everything about Stone Enterprises and the man who built it. Chase decide to re-hire her because he need all the help to manage his new position at the Stone Enterprises and find his elusive half-brother.
Author was switching between Chase and Piper's POV, so we get to know both the hero and heroine. I mostly don't mind dual POVs but in this one it always pulled me out of the story when the switch happened, so I had trouble focusing and getting into the story. I already knew so many plot points thanks to the other POV, so story got repetitive, fragmented and boring.
I felt like Chase and Piper weren't solid enough and not well developed. So many things were told instead of shown.
The story felt very long and sadly this story failed to engage me. There will be two more books in this series. And I really struggled to finish book 1...
All Our Tomorrows is the first book in a new billionaire series called The Heirs.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun quick read.
The book alternates between the male and female POVs.
The male narrator is Chase. His extremely wealthy father Aaron Stone has just died. I really liked Chase and loved his relationship with his sister Alex. He was such a kind hero. I hope that we get to see a lot more of him in the next book.
The female narrator is Piper who had worked at Stone Enterprises as Aaron Stone's executive secretary. She is such a capable heroine. And her dog Kitty was such a fun pet. I really liked seeing her deal with her personal issues. And it was very interesting to see how she handled her job and her private life.
This book was not exactly what I was expecting. Usually I would expect a billionaire romance to be super sexy. And while there is definitely a bit of spice, the romance did not dominate the first half of the book. But I still thought that the first half was so interesting. There is a bit of a mystery, which I absolutely loved.
The book left off without giving me all of the answers that I wanted. It definitely leaves the reader wanting more. And I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
*Two minor characters (Jack & Jessie) are from the author's 2012 book Not Quite Dating
Thanks to Montlake Romance for allowing me to read this book.
I always enjoy Catherine's books, but this book I LOVED! I think it was a combination of the characters, witty banter, and finding love despite the circumstances. And the ending? Way to leave me hanging, Catherine! I now cannot wait to read the next book or two.
I loved Piper's character. She may have had a rough start at the beginning of the book due to circumstances beyond her control, but she knows how to get things done, and she is exactly what Chase and Alex need as an assistant in the company. It isn't their fault that their father was your typical womanizer. I never understood why men with money seem to think they have their own set of rules.
Chase is hit hard by Cupid when it comes to Piper. He doesn't realize it at first until a conversation with his friend Jack puts it all into perspective. Chase and Piper have a mutual attraction that they fight, but I am glad they don't resist for too long.
Not all of the characters are nice. There is the widow, Melissa, who is your typical gold digger and doesn't like the will's contents. There are some board members of the company that Chase and Alex take over that have suspicious agendas. There is even the lawyer who has me perplexed. Is he trying to find the elusive half-brother? What is his agenda? Only future books will give us that answer.
As I originally stated, I LOVED this book and was very sad when it ended. But it just leaves me wanting to read more, and I can't wait to find out who is next in the series. Is it Alex finding her love match, or is it the half-brother?
Pick up and read this book; you won't be disappointed. We give it 5 paws up.
My first DNF of 2024, and I've been trying so hard to read books that are wholesome without resorting to DNFing them..
I just couldn't with this one, I had to give mercy to my brain cells.
This book was shallow, completely and utterly shallow. It started with such spice, and I really liked where the plot was going with the whole mystery surrounding the father's death and what came after that, and I honestly LOVED Chase's character..
Then, everything was forgotten. The whole amazing plot, the mystery, everything was thrown aside.
Only to spend the next several twenty or so chapters focusing on the WOES of Piper which is the most shallow and obnoxious character I have had the misfortune to read!! I COULDN'T BREATH FROM THE SILLINESS SURROUNDING THEM..
I devoured this book in 1 sitting!!!! This book does tick all of my favourite tropes but it gives them a twist. I really enjoyed the story line, I loved the characters and I also enjoyed their banter. I was sad that I couldn't continue into the next story right away and I am looking to read this author's backlog. This book will give you intrigue, friendship, banter as well as protective love. There are twists that challenge the characters and a book boyfriend to make you swoon.
All Our Tomorrows is the first book in Catherine Bybee's new contemporary romance series The Heirs. It's about Alex and Chase, whose absentee father dies suddenly and leaves them a massive inheritance with a stipulation that forces them to revisit the past before they can move forward. This is Chase's story as he takes over the business and rehires Piper, his dad's assistant. As he and Piper work together on his newly inherited billion-dollar enterprise, they also must find a sibling Chase never knew about.
Chase is an absolute dream. Smart, charming, and a good man, he is a perfect match for Piper. She's amazing, too - intelligent and strong. They complement each other well, and their chemistry is off the charts. I love how their workplace romance grows and how Piper slowly learns she can depend on Chase. Chase's relationship with his sister is also fantastic. It made me wish I had a sibling relationship as strong, supportive, and loyal as the one they share.
Bybee writes such entertaining stories with the perfect balance of intrigue, drama, and romance. And though the story examines heavier subjects like single parenting, unexpected pregnancies, and broken relationships, it's balanced well with lighter scenes, positive relationships, and a swoon-worthy love story.
I always love Bybee's books. The writing is fantastic - immersive, layered, and well-paced, the characters are dynamic and compelling, and the romances are always amazing. I was so rooting for Chase and Piper, and I can't wait for Alex's story! I was also intrigued by the mysteries in the story that involved the unknown sibling and someone trying to upend their leadership roles in the company. Chase and Alex, and by extension, Piper, face a lot of obstacles, and I'm excited to see how some of the overarching aspects of the plot will play out.
Thanks to Catherine Bybee for providing me with an advanced copy of the book. All thoughts are my own.
The premise caught my attention when Chase Stone's estranged father dies both he and his sister Alex are surprised to learn that they have inherited everything. Literally everything. But when it comes to Aaron Stone there is a stipulation. Find the long lost brother you never knew about.
Piper Maddox former assistant to Aaron Stone (Chase's estranged father) lost her job. Why you ask she wouldn't sleep with her boss. She is however pulled back into the fold.
Chase & Piper become close but Piper is hiding a secret one she can't keep hidden forever. This is where it got difficult for me.
Chase is an absolute Hero. One of the best. He is all in and gives Piper what she needs. This is slow burn which I loved.
What a great book! This book has everything you look for when reading a good book. Romance, laugh out loud parts, and surprises. I read this book in less than 24 hours. I couldn’t put this book down. First book I have read from this author and I plan to read many more of her books.
Time to dive into a new series from Catherine Bybee, and she has not disappointed with All Our Tomorrows.
This was a cute read, with a bit of family drama and intrigue thrown into the mix.
Add in a fantastic sister, and we had a pretty darn enjoyable book.
Piper is so good. She runs this book like she runs Stone's life lol - without blinking an eye, she has every else organised, even when her life is a bit topsy turvy.
Of course we get our HEA, but now I am so invested, I need for Alex to find hers, and am intrigued with the new brother.
Oh Catherine Bybee, I’ll follow you down any gazillionaire romance rabbit hole you want to lead me down ❤️ So adore stories like these with no shenanigans or ridiculous miscommunication dramas!
“All our tomorrows” is a great story, so well written. I personally loved it! I just hated the fact that I have to wait so much for the second book in “The Heirs” series.
Alex and Chase’s stranded father suddenly dies leaving them an inheritance with a catch. Now, they have to not suddenly learn the business ASAP but also find the missing link in the will so they could have control of the state. In order to resolve all their issues with the will, they need to rehire all the trustworthy employees of their father and that is when Chase met the bright assistant, Piper and from there the story gets more interesting and romantically complicated.
This story has the perfect balance of drama, suspense and steamy scenes. Just perfect! Therefore, I can’t find within me the option to offer you a detailed summary of the book because I’d hate to spoil anything for you. Hope other readers enjoy it as much as I did.
At the end, you have a preview of the story of two lovely characters in this book and obviously I bought the book. I guess Catherine Bybee has a new fan in me.
All Our Tomorrows! First five star of the year! I loved this book so much I was entranced from the moment I picked it up until four hours later when I finished it.
Synopsis- Aaron Stone has built a hotel empire. His children need to learn the ropes quickly when Aaron dies suddenly of a heart attack leaving everything to them and one other person. Having no relationship with their father almost their entire lives, knowing he was with various women over the span of decades, being faithful to no one, they have little to go off of when it comes to finding this one other person who has bequeathed their fathers inheritance. Chase and Alex Stone introduce themselves to the staff that was in their fathers life and start the takeover of his empire all the while searching for this long lost "other". Things get interesting when Chase hires back his fathers wrongfully fired secretary Piper Maddox. Piper needs this job. She needs stability with everything going on in her personal life and starting a relationship with the boss just doesn't fit that picture.
What I loved! (spoilers be ware) The characters were fun, loving, lovable and relatable. Alex and Chase just inherited a billion dollar company, but they've lived like middle class citizens. They're amazed at the luxuries of private jets, car services, and penthouse rooms that they now have unlimited access to. Chase is an absolutely charming, white knight of a man. His relationship with Piper borderlines all the things a woman wants. Protection, safety, space, acceptance, trust. His relationship with his sister Alex is brotherly but fun and protective. Both Alex and Chases relationship with Piper I find endearing to the core. Their excitement over little things in Piper's life made me "awwww" out loud.
There's not enough good things I can say about this book. It was charming and sweet, and super quick read I didnt want to put down. Pick it up, you wont regret it.
I raved about Bybee's D'Angelo series to everyone I know. With this one I immediately put it down and messaged my mother to pick it up, only to be told it doesn't come out until June 2024. So, thank you to Netgalley, Catherine Bybee, and Montlake for the amazing chance to read this ARC in return for an honest review. My opinions are my own and completely unbiased. I LOVED THIS BOOK!
Chase is a billionaire city kid with an oversized pickup truck he struggles to get into the downtown parking garage - the most cringingly cliche overcompensation possible. And he's rude to people working in service positions. This man is the opposite of attractive.
The book overall seems like it is written by someone who hasn't been in an office in thirty years. Some examples: everyone has a "secretary" and, amazingly, they can type without looking at the keyboard, there is a "professional hacker" on staff, and we are reminded to print off agendas before meetings.
The plot that was promised in the blurb takes a complete backseat (never really resolved) to an accidental pregnancy storyline. Unnecessary bait and switch. Beyond that, it's filled with lots of tacky billionaire stuff and cringy sex scenes. Yikes.

All Our Tomorrows is a heartfelt, alluring tale that features the sweet, wary Piper and the handsome, capable Chase as they navigate a relationship that includes a shared secret and a common goal, a family mired in drama and troubles, smouldering tension, and undeniable attraction.
The writing is smooth and fluid. The characters are enigmatic, intelligent, and loyal. And the plot is an irresistible mix of family, friendship, revelations, deception, secrets, introspection, tender moments, passion, emotion, and swoon-worthy romance.
Overall, All Our Tomorrows is another tender, playful, charming read by Bybee that has, without a doubt, become one of my new all-time favourites and is an absolutely brilliant start for this new Heirs series.
