Three best friends, five potential dates, and ninety days to make their Christmas Eve dreams come true.
Dallas Kim, Laila Khoury, and Andie Russell run All We Want, a quaint shop in a charming little city where they help men find the perfect gift for the women in their lives. This holiday season, these lifelong best friends know exactly what they want, too—dates for Christmas Eve.
Dallas’s ex is marrying her cousin. She hopes a handsome plus-one will help her sparkle like Christmas lights at the holiday wedding.
Laila is tired of her family calling her a spinster. She dreams of bringing a tasty dish to Christmas Eve dinner and making them eat their words along with their gingerbread cookies.
Andie always gets dumped right before Christmas. This year, she wants to get off Santa’s naughty list and find a happily-ever-after under the tree.
How far will these three best friends go to make their Christmas Eve wishes come true?
Told from the perspective of each woman in turn, All We Want for Christmas Eve is the first book in the clean romance All We Want duet. If you adore stories of love, friendship, and snowflakes, then you’ll find all you want in Eliza Harwell’s heartwarming holiday tale.

All We Want For Christmas Eve is...RICH, RICH RICH MEN.
Overall, this was an enjoyable book. The witty and sometimes humorous banter was fun to read. Even though this isn't categorized as Christian fiction, there were a few small mentions of God, prayer, faith, which I appreciated. This is a book that takes place in the Christmas season, but it isn't the typical HO HO HO, sleigh rides and hot cocoa kind of book. For readers who like a nudge of Christmas but don't want to be knocked over the head with it, you might like this one.
I enjoyed the story, but honestly, there wasn't a single character that I really liked. The three main character women were insufferable, entitled, emotionally skin deep, materialistic snobs. They're all thin and beautiful, of course, and only cared about wearing the right fancy clothes, driving the right fancy cars, and dating startlingly handsome men who HAD TO BE rich. Finding rich men were all they cared about. Basically, everything in their life had to be impressive to everyone around them. All the men they dated had to be sexy and wealthy (one thought the UPS man was cute, but no way would she EVER lower herself to dating a lowly, "unambitious" UPS man *gasp* no matter how good looking he was). Of course, all the men in the story were unredeemable jerks. (HINT: if you want a great guy who'll treat you right, don't look for the career obsessed, millionaire, Porsche driving men...just sayin')
I can say without a doubt that, as a man, I would never be friends with much less date ANY of these women. They were all unlikeable, unrelatable, skin-deep nitwits. Of course, I'm not rich or handsome enough to get any of their attention, anyway, so there's that...LOL. It would've been a nice and interesting contrast if at least one of three female characters had been a down-to-Earth, grounding force for the rest of the obnoxious friends, but they were all basically cookie cutters of each other. Honestly, the women were as big of jerks as the men they dated.
I know it sounds like i hated the book, but I really didn't. Even though I hated all the characters, I did enjoy most of the storyline. Don't let my disdain of the characters keep you from giving the book a shot. If you're a reader who can get past shallow, entitled heroines, then I do recommend this book.
This book provided a heartwarming story about friendship, love, loss, and hope. There are 3 friends who have supported each other over the years—like sisters. As their lives evolve, the trio grows and their love strengthens even as their paths take them to unexpected places. Full of humor and intrigue, this novel delights on all levels. And the idea for the store they share is ingenious. I want my husband to shop there! Everyone can relate to the idea of dreading family drama at Christmas time. Harwell draws us back to the meaning of family and purpose from which we can all benefit. Cannot wait to read the next book!
I love Eliza's style of writing 😘 her stories are full of interesting characters and really different story lines. I appreciate the 'clean and heartwarming' stories. Its a refreshing change from so much of the opposite today.
I loved this book! The characters were wonderful! I loved how they were there for each other, supporting each other through every turn in their lives! The storyline was wonderful.
Very entertaining and heartfelt book about 3 friends and their journey to love. Enjoyed the flow of the story and watching characters develop. Fun girls and a very happy ending!
This turned out to be a good read! There were times it got a little dull but I think it’s because it wasn’t my usual genre. I wasn’t ready for it to finish like it did.
I really enjoyed this book, I loved the characters as well as the story. I really enjoyed the relationship between the three women. I look forward to reading the next one in the series.
Cute book about 3 friends who love each other and have been together forever. They are each having a hard time and trying to figure out their lives and love lives. Well done.
