Sacrifice & Redemption, book 3 of the series Vengeance City by Sara Hinds @sarahindsauthor. First, I am a fan of Sara & this book was no different! This trilogy mist be read in order.
This was an amazing book about Jade, Kratos, Trent, Spencer, Zander, Jake & Roderick. Tropes: RH, no MM, found family, gangs, Mafia, taking down human trafficking rings, & a kick-butt FMC.
There are some minor grammar/spelling issues that I don't feel take away from the story. The most notable one is Bravata for Bratva. 🤷🏼♀️
This book like the previous two was amazing. I lucked out in getting an ARC copy, the lead up to this release was insane…. I was lowkey dying for the wait after the last cliffhanger.
But it was so worth the wait. This series is in my top 3 of all time, and it’s one I have repeatedly gone back to waiting for the subsequent releases. And I know I will continue to do so in the future.
Jade and her guys had reached their happy ending. The way the story tied to together was wonderful, and the conclusion ended in a way that felt right for these characters.
The story flowed through all three books beautifully. If you’re looking for an action packed, spicy romance with a b@d@ss FMC with possessive, fun, and dominating MMC’s who would do anything for their girl - this is the series for you! Congratulations Sara, another amazing story and I can’t wait for more to come!!!!
This book, this series, is wow! I’m awestruck with how good it was. Jade is the ultimate FMC and her men are simply delicious! This dark, mafia story is fast paced, has a ton of twists and turns and now with this conclusion has left me yearning to read more about the characters we met throughout the journey and were teased about.
Amazing series, this last book put the pieces all together and I hope to read more from this world! Totally recommend this. Please check the trigger warnings.
DNF at 33%. And don't give me ish about rating a book that I didn't finish. 33% is 200 pages in, I skimmed the rest of it, and it's also the third book in the series and nothing has changed. I've gone to war trying to get through this series and I've come back to give this book the one star it deserves.
❌❌SPOILERS ❌❌
I won't waste my time writing anything out, I'm just pasting the notes I took while reading:
It's been three books and they're still rehashing some of the same things over and over in internal monologue each time the characters have a new chapter. It's exhausting.
The one MMC is grateful every time he has a chapter that she's the first person in his life that didn't want him for his status. They've hardly developed any relationship and she's hardly shown an interest in him (I wouldn't even call it any interest at all yet), but he's sure she wants him and so are the other guys because the author needs to make this a thing.
Another MMC is still annoyed by every breath she takes and has to harp on about her about everything...right up until they hate fck each other and his 3 books of assholeness are instantly forgiven.
It's the same with all of them. We've heard all of this multiple times in many different words for three 500+ page (each!!) books. These books could have been a lot shorter, probably even just a duet, if we didn't have to revisit the same things every time we get another chapter from each character.
The most egregious offense:
The rewriting of Leo's history. In the first book he was Jake's cousin, and both Rick and Trent had met him before enough time to recognize him on sight when they obviously hadn't seen him the last year. In this one he was apparently just pretending to be some random guy the whole time, so that he could be revealed as someone key to the storyline. It's like the author completely forgot she wrote his backstory already and then made up a new one.
Book 1:
“Leo, I wasn’t aware you would be attending here this year." and “This is Leo. He’s Jake and Amanda’s cousin.”
vs. book 3:
"He’d said his last name was Prescott when he was pretending to be just another guy in class."
He turns out to be the FMC's cousin, and a key player in a lot of things that happened to her. Him being Jake's cousin, as mentioned in the first book, is never mentioned again, and it's like that was never a thing.
The master fighter thing & re-writing of the FMC's age:
This book tries to explain how she learned her considerable and vast fighting skills by saying she sparred with her older brother when she was younger, but she was put into the trafficking ring at the age of 5 according to her memory in the first two books.
Even if she had started at a young age, that doesn't account for how much skill she had with not only the moves but with sparring with people twice her size and beating them every time. That's even less believable than that she just taught herself while in captivity, which is what every book before this one led us to believe. Especially since she seemed to have no skills before she was saved by one of the other captives who sacrificed herself for her.
But really what aggravates me is this:
This book changes her age from 5 to 7 when she was first trafficked, presumably because it was more believable for the learning to fight as a child thing. But even then, this book wants us to believe that everything she learned until 7 was enough for her to become the fighter she is today. In fact, it wants us to believe that at 7 years old, she was frequently and easily beating her 14 year old brother (who had been in the same training for years before her) in sparring matches.
Random but I think it's funny that no one is supposed to have even an inkling that she's back, or else their entire plan fails, but she took a motorcycle and went gallivanting off to their highly popular and very public club to visit two separate areas of it to find her guys herself.
Ugh back to Leo because another chapter came up with him in it:
You want me to believe that Leo has watched her for years, gotten to know her, and still kidnapped her using a child she cared about and re-traumatizing that child who had already been kidnapped before, all to please his father. And then you want me to believe that it took one (1) conversation with his partner in crime (who didn't want him to turm her over and could have had that conversation at any time before that) to change his mind and see that his father was never going to keep his word? I'm sure you can see my eyes rolling rn.
And this is where I DNFed. These notes are longer than my grocery receipt. I'm actually relieved to not have finishing this book on my conscience anymore.
This was a really great series with so many likeable characters. I liked Jade as an fmc. For all that she had been through, I found her to be extremely balanced and relatable as a character. The guys, six of them, were all well developed. None of their traits mixed with each other. The story had strong plot and the spicy scenes were well done. I'll definitely be checking out other works by this author.
I loved this book and was actually sad when it ended because I knew that was the END of a terrific series!! Jade was so incredible, and her guys all so different, yet perfect for her!! (I loved all her guys, but was undeniably “in love and a little obsessed” with Kratos!!)
**SPOILERS**
Sacrifice and Redemption is the final book in the Vengeance City Series. It a great conclusion to a terrific series. It hits every note! It has intrigue, gore, violence, romance, incredible steamy scenes, gut wrenching scenes, and tied up the loose ends from book one and two.
Jade is FINALLY going to meet and face off against her seriously demented uncle, Ivan, the man that kidnapped her as a child and sold her off into the sex trafficking business…the man who took everything from her and put her through hell. All of her guys are along for the ride, fact, they’re more than just “along” they’re bloodthirsty and ready to kill Ivan painfully for all he put Jade through. The reader now knows that Jade is actually Svetlana, the “lost” Bravata Princess, the little girl to Mickhail and Vera. Mickhail runs the Russian mafia and has always been fierce and respected. But when Svetlana/Jade went missing her list himself, and his family fractured. He “gave up” the reigns (NOT the title of boss though) to his brother Ivan…yup the same Ivan who kidnapped Jade as a child and sold her into hell. Mickhail never suspected his own brother and instead allowed Ivan more and more freedom in the Bravata as he “disappeared” into despair.
Jade comes up with a plan…a plan that requires her to work with her brother Dom and her cousin Leo, neither of whom she trusts since they lied to her and she feels deeply betrayed and offended. But she needs them, and they become a regular part of Jade and her guys’s life. When everything is as tied up as it can be, they all head to Italy, to Elio’s mansion. Elio is hosting a huge party for his niece who is about to be declared head of her family, a party that Jade and her guys know that Ivan will and must attend, if anything, just for appearance sake. The plan on confronting him while her parents are there so that they can force Hade’s father to finally see what an evil monster Ivan is. But things don’t go as planned and Jade is once again “taken” because she’s ridiculously SELFLESS and doesn’t want her old friend to suffer - even though she has every right to be angry and sad about her betrayal. The guys rush to her rescue…but find that Jade has pretty much everything in hand…but they miss a few things in their happiness to be reunited with their love and Jade almost dies, so does Dom. But come on…we know our badass heroine can’t and won’t be “taken out.”
So the book concludes on a much deserved HEA for Jade and her guys…so why 4, not 5 stars…there are a few reasons 1. I HATE HATE HATE HATE Ashlynn! I get what drove her to betray Jade, but even knowing why didn’t lessen my hatred for her. Honestly I was just pissed that she was freaking pregnant because that meant Jade couldn’t and wouldn’t take her out!! As much as I hated her, I hated that she just disappears entirely from the plot line after she betrays Jade. Frankly it was annoying as heck because not only was her part a pivotal moment, but she was freaking carrying Elio’s baby (yeah he obviously has really poor taste in women if he slept with Ashlynn- the girl was pretty much coocoo for Cocoa Puffs!!) I honestly wanted (I know it sounds harsh and mean- but she deserved it!) Elio to go to town, toss her out on her rear and purge her from his life. He loves Jade (not in that way) but he still loves and respects her tremendously, AND he’s great friends with her family, especially her father…so his loyalty would firmly be with Jade, and after he found out what Ashlynn did he might keep her on so she could give birth to his child, but then he’d toss her the heck out. But no, that doesn’t happen…or does it? Hell, we have NO CLUE because Hinds effectively scrubs Ashlynn out of existence once Zander learns she betrayed Jade. We literally know nothing…not if Elio tossed her out (a scene I’d have paid money to read about), not if Elio forgives her, or even reciprocated her feelings. Ashlynn said she loved him, but she f’ing ran from him and got her stupid butt kidnapped when she landed on the wrong f’ing boat! The freaking boat that Ivan owns *sigh*. Seriously she so freaking stupid she should’ve stayed “dead” like Jade thought she was. I have no idea why Hinds brought he “back” only to use her in one pitiful scene, important but pitiful…only to “disappear her” and leave us in the dark about her fate. Again I hated her and was looking forward to seeing Elio “dump” her!! So yes, that was irksome to me. Why include her in the book at all if you’re not going to tell us what became of her after her treacherous actions?! 2. I honestly expected much more when Jade reunited with her mother and father after so many years. I liked how Hinds made her hesitant and wary…it was a realistic portrayal of someone with so much repressed trauma would handle a huge new situation! But…she was thawing toward them, and they were barely mentioned…barely a part of Jade’s life before she and her guys were headed back to Chicago where it had been decided that she’d lead the Bravata ALONG side her brother Dom and cousin Leo. I honestly really wanted a better reuniting scenario and MORE TIME between Jade and her family, God knows she needed and deserved it!!! I thought it pretty said for this mystery of her entire existence, why she’d been sold into the sex trafficking business when her family LOVED and cared for deeply was thrown in at the total end of the book!! I wanted more FAMILY SCENES and I wanted Jade to have more than a few pages dedicated to her reunion - and it was such a pathetic reunion after all I had expected…I was disappointed. 3. I REALLY wanted and EXPECTED more from Jade leading the Bravata. Even if I’d preferred her taking 100% control of the fractured Bravata, I accepted her splitting lead between three AS LONG AS I GOT TO SEE HER IN HER ELEMENT, ROCK KICKING ASS! But we don’t get any of that . I had hoped that at least in the epilogue we’d see her taking control and leading as the big bad mafia princess she was…but again no *sigh*. We get a rather lame epilogue - the least fav part of the book where we skip forward and are TOLD not read about how life is great and she’s happy and business seems to be going good. Again dissatisfying! And even though I knew Jade said she couldn’t have kids (heck why would she be able to, they probably either beat the ability outta her, OR went to surgically remove her uterus *yuck, gross evil men* that didn’t stop me from kinda hoping that she’d give birth to a gorgeous baby from her guys and that the girl would be as kickass as her, and lead the Bravata one day making everyone including her doting grandfather proud. Yeah I know it was a pipe dream, Jade had been so used and abused for years to come out with the ability to have kids, I just thought she’d made a great mom, and the dads would’ve gone Gaga over a baby a mini Jade. *sigh* wishful thinking in my part…but again, no less disappointing.
Anyway those are a few issues I had with this book (the main reasons I couldn’t in good consciouncev give this book ALL the stars) otherwise I adored it and wanted more of Jade and her guys so badly!! I was so dang sad when the series ended!!
This is book three in this series and wow, it must be read in order.
This was an amazing book about Jade, Kratos, Trent, Spencer, Zander, Jake & Roderick. It is all about found family, gangs, the Mafia, taking down human trafficking rings, & above all else a kick-butt FMC.
In this book after the cliff hanger of the last - Jade and her guys got their happy ending. The way the story tied to together was wonderful, and the conclusion ended in a way that felt right for these characters.
Wow this book really ramped it up in everything! We got more spice, more plot, more of the guys, it was seriously exactly what I was hoping for after book two!
What a TOTAL switch up from Spencer! I wasn’t expecting it to be so immediate so I really loved that he was all on board so early into the book, giving him more time to prove why he should get to be a part of the harem. Also, the spice??!??!! AHH. Totally worth the wait when it was done this well in book three. Even the first mix of Zan, Trent, and Spencer was everythingggg. So good. I definitely had a feeling Leo was going to turn out being in the role he was, but Dom was an added surprise.
**Update- I started writing this review in the beginning of the book towards the middle because it’s QUITE long and I didn’t want to forget anything. However, now that I’m 50%+ in, my biggest complaint is that I needed WAAAAY more Spencer. We get like one cute moment with them where he changes his mind finally but considering he was lacking the last two books I really needed him and Jake to be stepped up relationship wise. Jake was better than Spencer and that was weird to me.
Update 2- at 70% in, WHY are we leaving Jade alone???? I’m so confused!!! Why isn’t one of the guys with her? Like seriously? Didn’t they learn their lesson already???!!!
Okay okay. So I made it to the end. This was a LONG series. Each book was over 500 pages I believe. This book was my favorite but honestly I loved them all. DOM? He had me crying at the end. Their relationship is absolutely everything. I loved finally seeing Jade get her very very very well deserved happy ending. Even though she ended up with six guys, each and every one of them brings something special to the relationship. I truly think this RH was done SO well, especially for how large it was. AND knowing this is a new author? Crazy to me. Jade is going to be one of my favorite FMCs for a long time, I don’t see anyone else topping her.
I DO wish she had vocalized her love to the rest of the guys. The only one she says it to I believe is Kratos. She doesn’t say it back when Zan or the other guys say it and I wish she had, especially to Zan. I also don’t think a couple of the guys (Trent and Jake) really expressed their emotions much, but with 6 MMCs I know it’s hard to get everything covered so I’ll let it slide. I also wish we had gotten a little more with her parents.
I will miss her and the guys so much though. This series pulled me out of a rut and gave me everything I look for in a series. The character building was phenomenal, as was the plot. We got more twists and turns in this book, but it all came down to Jade just fiercely loving her guys and them loving her back. It was such a journey watching Jade grow and accept love, she was without a doubt the best part of the book series, her harem following very close behind. I’d absolutely love to see them again in the future, there is SO much potential for a spin off such as Mackenzie or a Dom/Leo book! Fingers crossed!
WOW. Just wow. I know sometimes in books we can get disappointed in the endings that authors give our favorite characters. But not Sara. She gives Jade and her guys the ending that they deserve with a little extra sweetness in that epilogue.
Luckily when we first jump into book 3, we see Jade’s POV right away, which is good because after we left off book 2 it was rough. We get a huge plot twist basically right away, one that I didn’t see coming. I mean I did, because your brain just wants to try and figure out who, BUT what you’re not expecting is how deep this all goes. You are not READY. It was like jaw on the FLOOR. Ah, I’m getting ahead of myself.
So one thing I liked was that we saw a lot of the guys POV after seeing Jade’s POV. We see how they’re dealing with Jade being gone, and what they’re doing to get her back. I think my favorite’s were Daddy K, Zan and Spence. I know we’re not real big fans of Spence but just WAIT for it. I promise, it’s just *chefs kiss*. The book does not slow down for a second, and don’t worry if you’ve been waiting for some… group activities *wink wink*, you get plenty in this book. And we see the spice ramp up, but it doesn’t over power the book at all or take over for the plot. It’s a great mix of plot, spice, and action.
The ending goes by in a blink of an eye because you want to keep turning the page just to know what happens next. If you’ve been waiting for book 3 to start this trilogy, the wait is over, go read it! I promise you won’t be disappointed with their ending. And I hope we get to see them in the future, I miss these characters already.
Holy sh*t, what a f*cking series this was!! I'm so sad to see this series come to an end, Sara you did an amazing job with these characters and their story!.. The twists and turns had my jaw on the floor, the rollercoaster it took me on WOW, I must say this was the absolute perfect ending to this series, I'm so In love and obsessed with the characters such an amazing trilogy😍 i couldn't put the book down not for a single second, waiting to see what was going to happen with Jade and her men! It gave us action, suspense, spice and more much more...
We start off right where book 2 left us, who took Jade😱. We see how they’re dealing with Jade being gone, and what they’re doing to get her back, I love having multi POV’s from each of the characters, when she gets back is when things really start to kick off. We finally get all the answers we have been waiting for, and some pretty big bombs..
I loved jade, I cryed so much through this book, She is such a force of nature, she has sacrificed so much and if anyone is deserving of happiness and love its definitely her. The growth Jade went through was huge, the growth in her relationships with each of the guys was amazing to read and see. Every guy has a special place in my heart too..
If you haven't read this series yet then get a move on as you don't want to miss out. I highly recommend it. 10/10 for me if I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
"No matter who it is or how they kiss, I can always feel their love. Even years later, they make my stomach flip and my heart skip a beat and often leave me clenching my legs together."
This is not THAT bad but I’m over it, it just kept making my eye twitch and triggering my raging bitch and I just ended up saying fuck it altogether.
We’re told multiple times what a badass Jade is (and cute, tiny, adorable, etc) but we don’t actually get to see it. Froggie is soooo feared, but we don’t see that either. Seriously, when and where? She did nothing for 3 and half books.
For such a feared gang Vengeance, that didn’t let shit slide and you couldn’t do any mistake or you’re out (6ft deep) we didn’t see that either. Spencer got away not once, not twice but MULTIPLE times: his lack of respect for orders, superiors and partners. Even when he found out that Jade was in fact Froggie he still disrespects her, AND THE BITCH LETS HIM.
We are also told the guys all see Hazel as their little sister and how they care so much for her, yet they only talked like 2x and it was because of Jade 🙄
Why 6 guys when clearly the author couldn’t handle? I kept forgetting who Trent was and still don’t know how Jake looks like. By the 3rd book the author remembered that they had to fuck and kept shoving threesomes when they didn’t make any sense, especially since it was Trent’s and Jade’s first time together, it takes from the already thin connection they share.
And what really kept annoying me was the fucking ending the chapter in point A and starting the next one in point D. Excuse me bitch, where’s B and C???
Like what did Randall and Spencer talk about? Rick and Amanda? What happened with Jade the two weeks she was “kidnapped”???? I don’t want that to be fucking brushed aside like “oh this happened” I wanna read it!
MAIN CHARACTERS - Jade/, Kratos, Roderick, Spencer, Zander, Trent, and Jake
SYNOPSIS - A sex-trafficking victim is not all she seems after a gang is charged with saving her and ending the remaining rings in the area.
REVIEW - Whew!!! This series felt supppperrrrr long and I'm glad to finally have finished it. I think the books averaged somewhere between 500-600 pages each? It wasn't a bad series by any means but it seemed quite a bit longer than necessary and I think that contributed to me losing interest a few times. That being said, it was mostly a positive read. Jade and the guys were pretty likeable and, while some moments teetered on "jumping-the-shark", I still had fun reading it. Even with the length of the series, we were still left with some pretty interesting gaps in the story. Specifically I'm calling out Don's theory regarding Leo's role in murdering Trent's father. Pretty sure that (and his other misdeeds) would be a major issue for the gang and yet Dom's like.. "nah?". Also, what happened with Ashlynn and Elio? Maybe these questions will be answered in another series? Who know? Kyn was kind of set up for picking up the proverbial torch so it's possible. Lastly, the editing in this book was a little rough at times. I didn't dock points for my score for it because I always feel like a jerk for doing so but if that's an issue for you, ye be warned.
While I'm so glad to have all of the questions answered, as I got to the end of this and things were wrapping up I got so bummed that I'd be leaving this world. What a fantastic series.
I cannot decide which of the guys is my favourite, I can't decide who has the best nickname for Jade, but I can say I just loved how it ended. These books took me through the ringer. I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I swooned, and I raged at the thoughts of what Jade and the girls she protected went through.
I loved how the author wrote such a badass in Jade and how she made the guys each so different, but equally lovable. The supporting characters that popped in throughout the entire series were there in such a perfect way to support the main group and you felt like you got to know little bits of them along the way, and I'd love to see more of them in the future if they are ever revisited.
I felt like I was in the beautiful houses, cars, underground tunnels and rooms, on the motorcycles and jets with them the entire time. The author puts you right there in the action and you can see the details she describes. This was a great series that I could not put down, and 100% needs to be read in order, so if you go to read it, clear your weekend and dive in to the world of Vengeance. You won't regret it.
When I started the Vengeance City series, I knew that I had started something special. The ride with a new author is always amazing to me because there is growth right there on the pages. It's even more fun when they are writing a series because you get to witness their growth as an artist over several books. This series is no different. Vengeance City is always a series that I recommend to friends and fellow book besties.
Sacrifice & Redemption is the third and last book in the Vengeance City series. Thankfully it opens up right where the cliffhanger of book two left us perilously dangling, so we can take a deep breath. Chapter One gives us Jade's POV, quite necessary when you think back to how book two ended.
The plot twists even in book three are ridiculous and bound to give you whiplash, but SO WORTH IT! I know most of y'all are all about Kratos or Zander, however, my guy Spencer gets his day here and that's all I'm gonna say about that. I feel so vindicated!!
Vengeance City will be on my re-read shelf for sure and will be a recommend for a very long time.
👉🏻💥Always check the TW/CW💥👈🏻
Anywho! Time to wrap this up with the goodies: Read: 4🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spice: 3🌶🌶🌶
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Not sure what to say other than this was my fav read of the year. It was an emotional story, with tons of drama and action. This was definitely a plot heavy read, something I love. I loved reading about Jade and her time of being the protector of innocents while she was caught up in the trafficking rings. I liked the male characters too. Zander and his crazy psycho, golden retriever ways. Roderick, the stoic leader. Spencer, the overly cynical but protective one, and Kratos the scary boss, who has a soft spot for only her. Trent, the golden boy cop, and even Jake, the former ahole, but secretly so sweet. I do wish Jade only ended up with the 4 guys though. Even though Trent and Jake were needed in the story, I really hoped that they could have just been friends, not partners. Just a personal opinion, as I've never been one to enjoy the bigger harems. I just find it implausible that the mfc can have enough time and energy to keep up with more than 3 or 4 or guys at a time!! I like the idea of them all sharing a bed, and how does that work with so many?!?! But I digress...... I would have given 5 stars if it had been a harem of only 4 and if the editing had been better.
This book picks up right where the last book’s cliffhanger left off. The guys are waiting on the hospital to find out news about Zander. They are all trying to figure out what is going on with Jade. Jade can’t believe what is happening. She would do anything to protect those that she loves. This was no exception. Maybe it will bring her closer to figuring out how to take down the last ring and who’s in charge of it. Will she figure it out? Will the group’s plans to finish everything go their way? Will they be able to relax once everything is over?
This was a great conclusion to this trilogy. I like how everything came together. I do have to admit being a little surprised on a few things. There are some twists and turns in this book. But, overall there are so many pieces that end up coming together to make a wonderful ending to this crew’s story. I really enjoyed this book and the whole trilogy.
Sacrifice & Redemption is the third and final book in the Vengeance city series. Again, this is NOT a standalone and MUST be read from the first book. There are subject matter that may not be suitable for everyone, please be advised!
Okay, over the past week, I've been catching up and have read books 1 & 2, leading up to this one. Mind you, these are some thicccc bois. And then took me, at least, a day to process and get it together, literally everything that happened and we've (yes, I'm saying we've,) been through. I've grown so emotionally attached to all of these characters. Man, witnessing the growth and development of Jade and her guys was everything. While it's sad to see them go, they really deserved their HEA and completely satisfied with how it ended! This series is soooo freaking good, I highly recommend!!!
So many twists and turns and jaw-dropping revelations
Oh-Em-Gee - what a wonderfully amazing ending to a beautifully told story!! My heart racing, I could hardly wait to start this final book in the series (sad because I wanted it to go on forever).
Jade and her guys once again face major adversity (total understatement) and all the complications and revelations will have your heart racing. I could not put this book down as I so wanted to find out what was going to happen next, and Sara did not disappoint, taking me on a journey of all the emotions.
I never wanted this book to end as I could read about Jade and all her guys ALL THE TIME!! Sara - thank you so very much for this wonderful, heartbreaking, uplifting 3-book series. You hit it out of the park!!
I cannot believe book 3 is finally here. I have been completely obsessed with this series from the beginning.
This one picks up right where book 2 left off, who took Jade??? I like having all the POV’s from each guy in the beginning and how they are handling her being gone. But when she gets back is when things really start to pop off. We finally get all the answers we have been dying for, as well as some pretty big reveals. You had me scared for a minute there Sara at the end. (No spoilers….but she know what part I am taking about!) But I am so happy how it all worked out.
As sad as I am that this is the last book for Jade and her men, I am so happily they finally get their HEA.
Oh boy. I don’t even know where to begin with this book. I usually get vibes that help me not get too surprised by plot twists. NOT THIS TIME. This book was genuinely so good. The growth in the relationships between Jade and her boys just made me so happy. I am sad to see it end… but I couldn’t be happier. I love these characters so much and maybe one day we’ll hear from them again. But even if that day doesn’t happen I can say I’m satisfied with the way it ended. I had the hardest time putting this book down and plowed my way through it. I was an arc reader for it so disclaimer for that. Oh and as always check your trigger warnings. And don’t worry… The spice was spice-ing.
This is book three and you have to read the other books first. Jade's reverse harem grows, as does the need to end the trafficking rings, but her story leads back to where it all started, and the man who changed her life for the worst. A girl with six lovers is going to have a lot of sex, and there is a lot more in this book than the first two. Personally, I found they got in the way of a great story. This is exciting and nail biting as Jade and the guys travel to Europe to end things.
I have really enjoyed this series, despite the errors. If those things don't bother you, it is a terrific story, with real emotions and some wonderful turns of phrase.
I got an arc read from the authors FB group and will always give honest review. Because Amazon is being very weird i think ill leave a longer review here at least. But wow this series was so good, i was honestly hooked from start to finished. (which isn't always a things because sometimes i can get bored in the third book). The fmc is strong, the guys are protective, there's development in terms of relationship (ahem Spencer) and development within characters themselves. That plot twist in this book i cant have seen coming at all and i really liked how doting well every character was with her this book, Kratos is sill nr 1 nobody can take the place from him. He was there for her since day 1, hes simply superior. i love this authors writing style, that there's multi pov and its refreshing reading a fmc who is strong but still want companionship. Sometimes it can be: im a strong independent woman and i need no man. Like dont get me wrong she obvi need no man to save her, but the story flow nicely imo. I definitely recommend this series!
First I want to say this was an amazing ending to the series!! If you have not get on this train!!! The entire series is fire. The journey with the characters and the development of the relationships is top notch. Sacrifice and Redemption wrapped up this series in the best way possible. I suffered with the emotional anxiety for the characters in this book. I love the story and the characters in this book (even Leo). I highly recommend this series it is one I love to reread when I'm in a slump. 5 s🌟 and the spice is perfect 5 🌶.
I really enjoyed this final book in Jades story. Jade is an Fmc who takes nothing from anyone but her men. The men are Ryder, Trent, Jake, Zander, Spencer, and daddy k. There were revelations revealed in this one. I thought it was a great ending to the story though. Jade deserves her HEA 1000x over. The spice was also good in this one. My only complaint is that there wasn’t more spice especially of the group variety. Don’t get me wrong there were group scenes just not as many as I would like. However, I did life that jade had one on one times with each of her men.
This was a good ending to Jade's journey and I did enjoy the series. It was good to see her reunited with her family although it seems that they have a long way to go. The guys have been brilliant throughout and the support system they provided the FMC with was admirable. I like the fact that they also navigated a way to get along for Jade's sake despite their initial hesitation. However, from the beginning of the series K. stood out for me the most and for one reason or another none of the other gentlemen had anything in him. Quite good series to read.
Sacrifice And Redemption is a great ending for this absolutely fantastic series! Vengeance City series from book 1 through the last page of book 3 has been one huge rollercoaster of a ride. Jade and her men are brilliant! They compliment each other completely and worl together beautifully to achieve the same goal. Their journey has been a very emotional, dark, intense one and in the end so worth it. This series is an absolute must read. I know readers will fall in love with all of these characters just as I did.
If you are reading this review and haven’t started Sara’s Vengeance City Series yet this is your sign! It’s finally completed and absolutely amazing. Watching Jade grow into an amazingly strong woman who finally accepts love is a beautiful thing! I absolutely love this whole world!! If you love a strong bada$$ FMC who won’t take no one’s poop Jade is for you! Go read it you won’t be disappointed!!!
This is the 3rd and final book in Jades story and we pick up where we left off in book 2. This was such an amazing ending to the story for Jade and her guys. There were definitely some surprising twists that I did not see coming and tons of smexy times. I loved every mon of this book and was sad to see it come to an end but absolutely loved seeing Jade get her HEA she has fought so hard to get. This is going to be a series I will recommend for a long time!
I just want to start off by saying I love Jade. She is such a powerhouse and has sacrificed so much and if anyone is deserving of love and happiness it is her. This is book 3 in the series and as sad as I am about it being the end...I couldn't have asked for a better end of series. I was a little nervous for a bit.. a few nail biting moments. Check the trigger warnings before you start this book though. Another amazing read by Sara!
What an amazing end to this story! I was so sad to see the trilogy end, but Sara did it justice. I am so happy jade finally got the answers she deserved and the family she always wanted! The guys were amazing all the way! Spencer had me worried there for a bit but he redeemed himself and it was so worth it. Zander and daddy k will forever be my favorites!!!
