People feared him. They respected him. But most of all, they obeyed him. And now he’s dead.

Danielle Lewis has just inherited the top spot in the Lewis crime family, following her uncle Ged’s death.

Danielle doesn’t want to be boss. But if she doesn’t step up, someone far worse will.

The reluctant heiress has no interest in carrying her uncle’s empire. She doesn’t want to fight for territory with the rival Flynns. And she certainly doesn’t care about the €5 million stash of cocaine that Ged had hidden just before he died.

But others will do anything to take her place.

Danielle’s more concerned about Ged’s orphaned infant daughter, who she’s been looking after.

Then Danielle is attacked and the baby is taken.

A switch turns on inside Danielle.

Danielle won’t stop until she finds her. She’s in charge. And she will destroy anyone in her way.

Exposed by Casey King was another excellent book, and this is the second book in the excellent The Dublin Thriller series and what another excellent book in this series was. This was a series that is fast paced, with lots of twists and turns throughout which made it had to put this book down, especially as the characters are excellent and so believable.
A great read for the coming holidays. However, I do recommend you read the first book first to find out more about the main character Danielle Lewis and the Flynns family.

Just Brilliant I loved it.

Big thank NetGalley, Joffe Books and the author Casey King for my ARC of Exposed in exchange for an honest review

The Dublin Thrillers Book 2

Danielle Lewis has just inherited the top spot in the Lewis crime family following her uncle Ged's death. The reluctant heiress has no interest in finding the five million stash of cocaine Ged brought down from the North just before his death. All she wants is to be left alone to take care of Ged's orphaned infant daughter. But Ged's death has left a hole at the top of Dublin's crime world. The alliance between the Lewises and the Flynns is on shakier ground than ever. Danielle doesn't want to be boss. But if she doesn't step up, someone far worse will.

I'd read the first book in this series and enjoyed it, so I was happy to get a copy of the second book in the series. I enjoyed this one more. Danielle is raising her uncle Ged's infant daughter. Nobody knows where they are. But a necessary trip out soon has Danielle regretting her mistake. Filled with strong characters and a great storyline, will Danielle take her place as head of the family? Or will someone step into her place instead?

I would like to thank #NetGalley #JoffeBooks and the author #CaseyKing for my ARC of #Exposed in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book in the Dublin thriller series, and what a second book it is too...... I loved it !
The feud continues with Danielle Lewis in hiding, with her uncle geds and hazel baby chloe. Hazel still hasnt appeared. Where is she? Danielle is now the boss of the Lewis family crime business, and everyone wants to get their hands on the large shipment of coke that has gone missing.. Danielle is assaulted whilst at the shop where she is then taken to hospital, someone knows where she is...... when she arrives back at the apartment, she finds that she is unable to gain access as the guards have raided the place.. What are they looking for? Lots of action in this great gangland read i was drawn into the story and characters. I do hope there is a book 3? Great new author highly recommend

Exposed Is the 2nd book by this author I have read.

Dublin Thrillers
1. Deceit (2023)
2. Exposed (2023)

Introduced to the 1st book earlier this year I was interested to see what more the author had to offer.

Gangland crime is what's on offer....
Set in Dublin, Danielle Lewis is now Queen of the firm. 'The family firm' The only thing is Danielle is not really interested in it.
This story was tense and utterly gripping. If you are looking for a new author in this genre then you've just found one.
I would highly recommend and I can't wait to hear of more from this author.

This is book two of The Dublin Thrillers, and I feel that reading book one first it will give a better insight into the characters and story up to this next book.
This book is different as it is the gangster side of things instead of the police.
I very much enjoyed the storyline and plot along with the great characters.
With a gripping read bringing the story together to form a twisty storyline, which I thoroughly enjoyed reading.
My thanks to Joffe books for the advanced copy. This is my honest and unbiased review.

This is another brilliant read from Casey King. If you like your gangster thrillers, this is one for you. Set in Dublin and featuring Danielle Lewis, a strong, determined character. The plotting and storyline is excellent and there is plenty of suspense until the last page. An excellent read and one I would recommend. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

I’m a fan of martina Cole and books of that ilk and this did not disappoint, I was thoroughly hooked from the start. I only wish I hadn’t started on book 2 but I’ll be searching for book 1 as soon as I can! Great characters, fantastic story and an Irish setting. Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC copy and an honest review!

To the point

Unlike so many books which spend 90% of the story waffling on about the psychological make up of the characters, and repeated over and over, causing me to "speed read", this author gets on with the story. Good job Casey, I enjoyed it. Very few typos too, if any, which was refreshing!

‘It’s a story as old as time. Girl meets boy. They fall in love. Then it all falls apart.
Ten years ago Danielle Lewis marries Jason Flynn to bring together their warring Dublin crime families. It should be a joyous union.
But then someone tries to kill her.’ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I came across this author on Instagram and I’m so glad I did!! I even looked for other books, these are debut novels (I had a mini tantrum 🤣) although when I messaged (stalked) @crimewritingcrimefighting , I was assured there are more books to come 👏🏽!
If you love a bit gangland crime … definitely try these books out. You won’t be disappointed.

Caseÿ King Exposed.

I found this book a bit confusing for a while, it seemed that too many characters were trying to emerge at once. But after a while, things stated to fall into place. It wasn't a bad read after That.

This was my first book by Casey King and I’m looking forward to reading more - starting with the first book in this series. I was able to pick up the series from this book but will definitely read the first book.

I really enjoyed this book and found that I don’t want to put it down. Danielle Lewis is living under the radar as she is looking after her uncle Ged’s baby daughter. Nobody knows where she is and she needs to keep it that way. Venturing out for necessary supplies was a mistake and one that Danielle lives to regret as her life spirals. She has to try and fight for what is rightfully hers and she doesn’t know who to trust!

A fab read and I can’t wait to read more by this author.
