Most bosses give their assistant the night off. Mine gave me a wedding ring.
As the assistant to the notorious playboy prince, I’m used to rolling with the punches. But even I’m shocked when Caesar’s father lays down an ultimatum. He has to get married or give up his title.
And who’s the lucky woman? Me.
It’s just pretend. Or at least that’s what I tell myself. But all too soon, I find myself in Vegas…
Saying, “I do.”
It’s not just a performance. It's stirring emotions I never planned on. And I realize way too late. My heart isn’t just on the line…
Tyla Walker has always been a writer, ask anyone who’s ever met her. Growing up in Georgia, she spent every summer barbecue weaving wild stories. Her momma always encouraged her, and she couldn’t have done it without her.
Tyla writes hot and fun romances, inspired by her own relationship. Her husband reads all her stories and helps her figure out the spice and action.
Prince Un-Charming:A BWWM Royal Romance (Black Queen for White King by Tyla Walker is Caesar's story. We met him in Crown Me Baby. Caesar is a Playboy. He is very good at his job as International Ambassador. His only problem is he can't keep it in his pants. When his dad falls ill aka The King, Caesar is told in order to the very least keep his job he has to become more serious and get married. So between Caesar and his best friend, come up with the candidate of his assistant Vivienne. Vivienne is tired of rangling in her boss. If she has to look at one more compromising situation with her boss, she might lose her mind. Now, he has presented her with a proposition that she might consider. Vivienne is the youngest sibling to a US Senator who isn't married and has no children. She is tired of constantly being reminded about her single status. This proposition can answer both of their issues. There is just one problem. Feelings start to get involved, and Caesar doesn't have the best reputation. Is the story silly, yes!!! However, I loved the characters and their interaction. I truly enjoyed their story and am looking forward to the next brother's story. I am sure there will be one. I give this story 4 stars.
Cute. It started with a arrogant prince, who was literally caught with his pants down and you later find out he just wanted stability. He wants a love and family of his own. I have to give it to him, he waited patiently for her to come around, had he known his in-laws were his actual holdup. I liked that he realized that she was a 'good' girl and was so patient with her, didn't take advantage of her, he waited. And it was worth it, the first and second time. She wanted them to bless the treehouse... Maybe after the baby is born on a visit back to see the family.
He's a prince who has been given an ultimatum to marry or lose his job. She is the daughter of a US senator who has decided to pave her own way. Caesar is not looking to get married given that his choice has been taken away, he decides to proposition Vivienne into a fake marriage. Will their fake relationship backfire when feelings come into play. This story kept me glued to the pages.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This has been one of the most enjoyable reads of my holiday season. So far.
Vivi and Caesar are both examples of polar opposites. But their chemistry is totally hot and smoldering.
I’m so looking forward to seeing more from the Vanecourt Royal Family.

This is one of those stories you love reading with a good bottle of wine, tub full of scented hot water, bubbles and candles off to the side as you read this. Caesar, once he matured and to me understood the part of being responsible was a man any woman would want. Vivienne innocent as she is I think saw beyond that playboy image. A great love story that I know I’ll read over and over again.
Kind of flat and boring, with no real fireworks or excitement. Mainly the couple hanging out in smallsville,USA,having picnics. Some continuity errors, kind of glaring since they fully contradict information written about earlier in the book. Adult times are ok,but nothing super steamy. Just a book. Good enough distraction if you have nothing else to do. My thoughts only. Feel free to read and form your own. But don't say you weren't warned......
Wonderful story of contract marriage turned real Caesar and Vivienne found true love with each in this beautiful story It was unexpected but they both deserved it Some family drama but done with love and flowed with the story Another great one Tyla On to the next book I really enjoy your writing
He was a rake and a rogue, but he is also her boss! She’s his secretary and has fallen for him. So when he makes a proposal of a contractual marriage to keep his position, she accepts. Their journey begins with a contract and ends in HEA!🦋
It was very sweet and short. I loved how throughout the whole process they both considered the other’s emotions. The chemistry was amazing and the spicy scenes were decent. I would totally read it again
I love how the storyline was written to make their story so sweet. This prince didn't even know how to love, but this graceful elegant woman changed his heart and mind. She was strong and intelligent and just what he needed. Beautiful story.
Was rushed, no real story here. Had potential, but didn't really pan out. Like so much details in the first chapter then everything else, "major" plot stuff and it's literally a paragraph with no concept of time.
Clean romance with a Prince and a daughter of a Senator. Vivi & Cesar’s contract is smooth rolling once they start to remove their own barriers. They trust each other and it’s through the small bump in the road that Cesar fights for his wife.
Totally unbelievable but I enjoyed the way the main characters grew together. The royalty element could have been left out and it still would have worked.
I really did love reading this book. It held my attention and I could not put it down. Thanks for sharing this series with me, can’t wait to read more. Get this one.
