The way Williams dissects Taylor Swift’s discography with surgical precision is Shakespearean in its depth, and dare I say, Homer himself would weep at her insights into Folklore alone.
Move over Dostoevsky, because if your magnum opus doesn’t explore the complex emotional tapestry of a woman shifting from Fearless to Evermore, are you even writing? This book isn’t just a tribute to a pop icon—it’s the literary pinnacle that modern society has longed for.

As a Swiftie, I did feel it my duty to check this one out and this was made even better when I was sent it as a proof to read and review! In short, I loved it - was the perfect guide to the Era's of Taylor Swift, filled with all the info you'll ever need to know on her albums.
From country hits to her pop chart-toppers, Taylor's albums have covered a whole range of Eras, each a unique and awesome styles. This book follows through each album in chronological order, breaking down the albums, their style, their creation and what they meant to Taylor's career.
I've read a few Taylor books now, but this was the first one that focus on her career through her albums/Era's and what each of them meant to her. It was a super interesting take that added a lot more to her story! I enjoyed reading all the stats on how the albums did, where the charted and how they added to her success.
The book is also filled with 'things to do' for each era - from friendship bracelet and t-shirt making to themed cocktails, I will 100% be giving some of these a go! It's a really creative and unique thing to add!
I was also a fan of the quizzes throughout - I was expecting to be a reputation girly but it turns out evermore/folklore is more my vibe! Who knew?!
My only qualm with this one is that I feel a good bit is missed out. I just wanted a bit more on Taylor's background and her as a person rather than the album focus. But then again this was an album focused book so I can't complain too much!
Overall, this was a lovely gifty type book for all the Swifities out there and even for the non-swifities! It's a great concise breakdown of the Era - perhaps the perfect book to prepare for the Era's tour with!? I loved it and would 100% recommend!
