When my parents died, her parents took me in and raised me as their own son. Even as a baby Arwen had me wrapped around her tiny little finger. She has been mine to love and protect; to cherish and watch over. When her father asks the unthinkable of me, can I respect the wishes of the man that raised me as a son? Or do I take matters into my own hands to protect my Princess?
D rew has been in my life for as long as I can remember. 12 years my senior, he was always my hero growing up. He's been my best friend and my protector for years. I cannot remember a time without him by my side, watching over me and caring for me. When my father makes a huge mistake, I'm forced to go into hiding with Drew to keep me safe. Will Dad's mistake push Drew and me together, or will we be torn apart?
18+ This is a standalone age-gap romance with vulgar language and includes spanking and light bondage. HEA guaranteed.
I initially started this book because I saw an author on Tiktok saying she was having trouble promoting her book and wanted to support her and my God am I glad I did!!! Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. It's got a mixture of all the best tropes, the storyline is exquisite, and it's very easy to fall into the story.
For a debut novel, this one has it all! I was annoyed, lovestruck, angry and back to lovestruck by the end.
Watching Drew love Arwen from a distance while he tried to do the right thing was heartbreaking, but in the best way possible. In that “wow, he loves her so much” kind of way.
I really enjoyed watching their love change and grow into what it is by the end and the steam! Oof, these two are straight fire together!
If you love sweet romance with a hint of suspense, this is definitely one you have to check out!
Was hoping for a quick and steamy, naughty read when I picked up this recommendation, but it sadly fell a bit flat.
Too much push and pull between the 2 mcs, and the first scene where he spanks her - as soon as he pulled her pants down you know its jot innocent, but her reaction just didn't fit for me.
And at the end he has all this money no one knew about? Yeh, it felt really rushed at the end, and that it was only playing with kink, not fully committing to it.

I loved the fact it wasn’t cringy that Liam has known Arwen since she was born. The author made it a smooth transition with the age gap. They were friends then it grew to something more. The author did a wonderful job of building the characters. By the end the story comes full circle and we understand why things happened the way they did.
Where to begin?!?! I loved this book from the first word to the last. I honestly could not put it down. The only downside was that it left me wanting more of Drew and Arwen, no… I need more of Drew and Arwen and their wonderful story! Please if you are into steamy romances, rush to get this book!!! I so highly recommend it!!
This book was so good! I loved how her bodyguard was so protective of her in the first place but also how he thought of her as his. I love that when he finds out the ulterior motive of why her father is marrying her off he takes her and leaves. I love how close they get while at his cabin and how she falls for him. I love that they tell her father and hated that he despised them both for it. I was glad they were finally accepted and allowed to be together in the end.
For a first book, this was written really well, and I enjoyed it. It was fast paced, right amount of romance and sexy scenes. Not too overdone or ridiculous. I like Arwen and Drew's chemistry. I recommend.
I actually really enjoyed this one. I'm a big fan of this trope and it was written really well. The H was your typical alpha male, but the h wasn't whiny (as are a lot in this style). Can't wait to see what else this author writes!
The reviews unnecessarily hype this up. Minimal originality in plot line and character development. There should have been more work done on the editing as well. Stick with more developed authors.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick spicy (not too much and not to little) romance that got me hooked right away. Liam and Arwens relationship was truly special since day one.
For a debut book, it was great. I love Arwen and Drew together and the struggle between whether it is right for them to be together. This is an age gap romance if I'm remembering correctly, a 12 year age gap. I'm really starting to get into age gaps.
This book was really good but did contain some debut writer mistakes. Like too many exclamation points and one thing that I don't like in books is when a character thinks something and accidentally says those thoughts out loud and then thinks "Oh no, did I say that out loud?" So that bothered me, but thankfully it didn't happen often. Another thing is the ending, I feel like the solution to the conflict made sense and I liked but I don't like that there was no reason it took so long for that to happen. There was no obstacle between the problem and solution. It left me wondering why Drew didn't do what he did from the very beginning. If there was some explanation as to why the solution took so long, and why Drew went along with Arwen's dad's plan then it would have been a stronger ending. Overall, I really did enjoy the book and the romance is really why I read it so the other things weren't a big issue for me to enjoy the book.
