I know this is a short read and mostly for the spice….but there were some points in here I questioned. What was the point of having the ex-fiancé for the MFC, she could have just said “I have trust issues”; why wasn’t Bryson more mad at his dad when he was in on his brothers plan? Why mention the dead brother? Idk it wasn’t for me.

One steamy hot office affair. .....So this was a free ARC copy from the author and booksprout for my honest voluntary review of this book amd I really enjoyed it. Also it was the first time reading for this author and I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading more from her in the future! It had a great storyline and great characters to read about.Plus so steamy hot in and out of the bedroom, plus the office. *Spoilers Tag-He's the new CEO in the office and her new boss.And can't seem to stop wanting her in the office and out of the office and any where else to . She's trying to report that someone is stealing money from the company and he tells her to , ind her own business and get back to work.She tells him that she quiets and walks out.But he decides that after she walks out , that he needs her help to find out who's stealing from the company, put can't seem to stop thinking of making love to her.*If you want more you need to get the book, cause it's steamy hot.

Super Disappointing! 😑
I chose this book after seening an ad post on Facebook for it. It looked & sounded like something I usually read & like.
Unfortunately, it wasn't. The book description sounded great. The book didn't live up to that expectation. It was super disappointing.
Tessa works at Stafford Financial Group as an accountant on the first floor. One day she opens a email meant for the third floor department & realizes it has all kinds of mistakes. Embezzlement, fraud, misuse of company resources. When she takes it to her supervisor, her supervisor threatens her.
Tessa eventually decides to go to the main guy, the CEO. Which is Bryson.
Bryson & his brother Theo are each being given 3 months to prove they can run the company properly. After that time is up their father will pick one of the them to replace him as CEO. He has to step down for health reasons aggressive prostate cancer & only had about a year left to live.
Here is my problem with the book. Tessa started off in the book strong, resilient, having morals & standing up for what is right. I loved her!
About 60% into the book she became a doormat doing whatever Bryson said. Summit to his sexual request, kissing his butt at work in the office. It was like she was a totally different person. I hated her then. No self respect for herself. Pitiful, so weak. No longer heroine material in my book.
Bryson was used to getting his way no questions asked. Not a totally likeable character.
Who was really causing all the problems in the company was totally predictable from the very beginning. No surprise there.
Most of the second half of the book is just sex scenes, Tessa submitting to Bryson at the office. Blah.
Overall, I regret ever getting this book & wasting my time on it.

An affair with the boss while trying to find out who is embezzling from the company
Bryson Stafford is definitely a Filthy Boss in more ways that one. Tessa Clayton ends up liking this filthy boss all over the office and more.
Filthy Boss is an interesting story with suspense, intrigue, betrayal, heartbreak, love, romance and some definitely filthy hot s3x.
The characters were good but I could not really like either Bryson or Tessa by the end. He is bossy, egotistical and not really likeable. I do love my Alpha men but Bryson did not really treat Tessa like a queen which I think all Alpha men should do. Tessa on the other hand was a great female character at the beginning. She was strong, independent, ethical and could stand up for herself. However, once she got involved with Bryson it seemed like she just forgot herself and bowed to whatever he wanted or said. I think if she had kept her strength and put some feisty into the mix the interaction between the characters would have been a lot better and added more to the story. With that being said I did enjoy Filthy Boss for what it is.

Tessa has had a lot of tragedy in the past few years after losing her brother, but she has Ted and feels excited about the future. That is until Ted rips her heart out by cheating on her. So she picks herself up and puts everything she has into her work. She enjoys her job and does it well.
Bryson works hard and is dedicated to the company his father built. I took soooooooo long to finish this. Seriously, I started to read this in January after reading Manacled, which was ages ago. I think it took me this long because it was pretty cheesy and didn’t really made interested on the end. Like, it was a bit enjoyable (the MMC (I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) is completely in love with the FMC, pretty cute) but it was a bit too predictable for me, I normally wouldn’t mind that but for some reason here it did. So… would I recommend it? Sure, if you have some time off and just want to not think for a moment it will be ok. But if you really want content, I’m sorry but this book isn’t for you.
PS. It’s been some time since I read this, and I just remembered that it had some inconsistencies, like with her brother and stuff, I don’t know if they talk about on the other books of the series, but if they aren’t commented then I don’t know what happened. It looks like the author had an idea and forgot it mid way.

Tessa Clayton works for Stafford Financial Group as an accountant when she is analysing some paperwork she finds proof of theft and embezzlement drawing it to her immediate supervisors attention she is threatened after thinking about it for a little while she decide to take it higher up This is how she meets Bryson Stafford he and his brother are the acting CEO's due to their fathers ill health he has given them 3 months to prove which will be the best CEO for the company So begins a web of intrigue and suspense with a very healthy dose of hot romance Will they save the company and will they get a HEA you will have to read to see

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story follows Tessa, an accounting analyst that stumbles upon a suspected embezzlement scheme going on in the company she works for. Tessa unknowingly sleeps with the CEO of said company and so their complex, but steamy relationship starts.
It was easy to read and the character development is superb. The writing is captivating. I finished this book in a few hours, as I couldn't stop once I'd started reading it.

Tessa was cheated on by her ex-fiancee and she is finally putting herself back out there when she meets Bryson. The chemistry between the two is explosive. Imagine her surprise to find out he is her boss the next day. This isn't just a steamy romance, but add in all the suspense and you won't be able to put this book down. I will definitely be looking for more books by this Author!

I really enjoyed the book. I love the mystery that the characters had to solve. I love the plot twists. I have bad for Bryson because all what he had to go thought. I love the characters interaction with each other. I love the ending. I wish the proposal was a little more romantic. It was not romantic enough for me. I would to read this book if you like romance.

Superbly written! A fast pace read with an interesting storyline that is emotionally deep, well developed, and consistent. Likeable characters; the chemistry between them is amazingly hot and the sex scenes are off the charts. The twists, suspense, family and office drama, and embezzlement make this book a masterpiece and one not to miss. This is a must read!

A great boss/employee forbidden romance
I love this trope! And Bryson and Tessa are explosive together. The chemistry leaps off the page. Tessa is an accountant analyst. She uncovers disturbing things, embezzlement. When she decides to go to the CEO with her discovery, she realizes it's the man she had hot and dirty sex with the night before. Her Boss!

This is one of those stories where you root for the main protagonist from the jump. They are so vivid that they come to life and welcome you to their world.

Why were there so many randomly italicized words in this? It was insufferable. If I ever see the word again in italics I’m going to cry. The sex scenes quickly became repetitive for me which considering this book is only 170 pages or so is quite the feat. Happy it’s over.

I was not a fan at all. The overall story, and writing style left much to be desired. There was no chemistry for me between the main characters. Brother out to get brother for money is so cliche. There were a few times I almost gave up on finishing but it was short enough to power through.

Too many errors and…
One chapter literally stopped with “and…” with no end to the sentence or chapter. I love the concept of the story but the errors really take away from it. It is also a bit repetitive as the same things are said only a few lines apart.

Tessa works as an accountant on the first floor for Stafford Financial Group. Just before she is to leave for the day an email comes through and as she goes over it she notices that someone is embezzling money from the company. She goes to her supervisor and tells them about it and they tell her to forget about it or lose her job. So after venting about it to her room mate she decides that the next day she will talk to her main boss about it. However while at the bar she meet Bryson and they hit it off so he walks her home and they end up having sex along the way. The next morning when she goes to her boss she learns that her Bryson from the night before is actually her boss Bryson Stafford. Bryson is shocked when Tessa walks in and after a few awkward minutes he asks what she needs but doesn't believe her when she says what she found. When she gives notice that she's quitting and storms out he can't believe it. When Bryson catches up to her he manages to convince her to help him find out what's going on. Bryson only has control of the company for three months will they be able to figure out whose behind the embezzling before his time is up? Will he still want to be with her after everything is over?
This is an amazing story with a surprising twist. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is the second book I read from this author and I have to say I loved it. While Filthy lawyer was meh for my taste, this read was a good one. Tessa works in accounting and one day stumbles upon some discrepancies and tells her supervisor who tell her not to worry.
Characters Tessa and Bryson were likeable, especially Tessa is a very strong female, who isn't afraid to be without a boyfriend after she finds him in an awkward position a week after he proposed to her.

I liked Bryson & Tessa's story. Good characters. It was an intriguing book...Tho did lag at times for me. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.

This book was not for me. Chemistry lacked with the main characters. Story wasn't very well thought out. It was a quick read and I hoped it would get better but it didn't.
