Completely read. Waiting for the side stories. Green flag
This is a review about Lovesick dog, the author's most recent work. AND I LOVED IT. In my quest to find a green flag BL I finally did it!! Tho, read the TW for this one, bc it deals with very heavy topics.
Possible spoilers below:
I had 0 expectations for this one. I started bc it was complete and the art was cute. And the first few chapters were a bit meh, but that all changes when MC goes to live with MLI. My pooor babies, the both have so many issues of abandonement and growing around people who should've loved them, but took advantage instead. But it's really beautiful to see who together they can show who they truly are freely, without judgement and fit together. The boy think they are terrible people, and have self-steem problems, but they make each other so happy even if the don't fully realize it. So, od things were going to well and a storm was on the way. Jooyung Hyung tenia que aparecer. But during this time apart Ye-Geum realized that after discovering who he was on a healthier everyone this was not what he deserved anymore. I was so happy in the e d when Jooin got hir shit together, regarding his familly and the company, but speciallly himself. He fixed things but then he decided to step away from it alto to pursue his dreama.
The whole tone of this story is nostalgic, sad, qs if you know smth bad's gonna happen the whole time. And it does. But laso, is bc of the state of mind in which thr characters are. They attemtp to drag you with them. Even now that they got a HEA if still feel sad.
En fin, a very good read. I'm happy I discovered this and can't wait for the side stories.

Das Cover gehört jetzt schon zu meinen Favoriten aus der Reihe. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
Auch im zweiten Band begleiten wir Hyung bei seinem Selbsttherapieversuch.
Emotional nähert er sich Boguk an und gesteht ihm sogar seine Gefühle. Doch der will keine Beziehung. Auf der anderen Seite haben wir Sujo, der die Beziehung auf körperlichen Kontakt beschränkt.
Hyung ist immer noch schwer traumatisiert und hat auch Flashbacks.
In diesem Band bekommen wir auch einen Rückblick zu seiner Beziehung zu Noa.
Aufgewachsen in einer ländlichen Gegend, erscheint die Beziehung und Heirat der beiden als bequeme Lösung ohne großen Stress. Vor allem Noa macht hier einen eher reservierten und kühlen Eindruck. Sie hat ihre Zukunft bereits sorgfältig geplant, und da Hyung da ist und unkompliziert ist, war er ein geeigneter Heiratskandidat.
Im Nachhinein fand ich Noa sehr unsympathisch, da sie Hyung wie ein Spielball in ihrer kleinen perfekten Welt erscheinen lässt.
Aber ich fand es gut, dass sie Hyung vor ihrer Mutter verteidigt hat.
Der Band war dieses Mal auch wieder mit viel Spice bestückt.
Ich habe diesmal mehrere Pausen gebraucht, weil der Band sehr textlastig war. Das kommt einem gar nicht so vor, wenn man jede Woche nur ein Kapitel serviert bekommt.
Da ich die Reihe aber trotzdem toll finde, werde ich auch die anderen Bände kaufen.
Ich freue mich auch schon sehr auf Band 3, denn das Cover übertrifft mNn sogar noch das vom zweiten Band.
