Awakening in a hospital bed, Alice thinks of one thing that their world is in grave danger, and they must act immediately if they are to have any chance of defending it. The Lord of Darkness will stop at nothing to see their world destroyed, she knows. Nothing.

This remains to be an engaging episodic series. I have not read the series straight through but have enjoyed the ride so far. I’m still on the fence with this format but that is a me issue not a quality of the actual story issue. There is a good mix of fighting and love interest however the love versus duty trip has worn a bit thin to a reader of so many fantasy books… still a solid installment that i was able to read within a few hours. Keep bringing the darkness.
