The title can raise false expectations and lead to disapointment since the book deals with a very limited subset of Calistenics.
The book essentially describes 6 excercises: The Dip, The Pull/Chin Up, The Muscle Up, The Planche, The Front Lever and the Handstand Push Up. The first 3 excersises are presented and described strictly from a competition point of View, not as excersises. ( That means how to execute them in a competition legal manner and a maximum load for 1 rep, not how to train using them. )
Only for the 3 non competition excersises there are some basic progression and programming hints
The descriptions could be better- maybe a Better of translation to English? Although the words are not wrong, they are so technical from anatomy or geometry that you need the encyclopedia. It is very apparent that it's home published/edited.
Bottom line: If I lose it , I won't buy it again...
All in all I recommend this book ONLY if you are competing or interesting to compete in weighted calistenics.
Very comprehensive guide to calisthenics - main focus is on weighted basics such as pullups and dips, and then advanced skills like levers and HSPU. Great information, tips and examples of "bad practise". Bonus is scannable QR codes, which shows you the examples on Youtube.
