Who would ever think a care package from Hell could cost him everything?

Colt Nichols is left to deal with the aftermath following his series of terrible decisions. Anger. It’s the only emotion Colt feels. The ghosts of his fallen club brother and his real brother haunt him, telling him the truths he ignores. On top of that, he feels like he’s losing everyone he thought he could depend on. At least he still has the club, even if most of the women hate him?

Sometimes stepping back is the only way to gain perspective.

Lex Nichols had no other choice. Colt made all the decisions, and she was left being the bad guy to everyone else. No matter how much she wanted to shout everything from the rooftops, her need to protect him, and the club, has been ingrained in her since she was a little girl. She was raised to be the perfect old lady, wasn’t she?

The war is just beginning.

The turmoil between the Deranged Drifters and the Savage Slashers they thought they’d put to bed after making some necessary changes to the Slasher officer line-up seems to be back in full force. This time, they’re not sticking around Black Valley. And they have their sights set on more than just the club members. And this war may cost them everything.

Logan Gray is a writer and authorpreneur who likes to create books like artists like to create art. Description is important, but she wants to allow the reader to make the story their own. While she wants to give the reader what he or she needs to see the picture she's trying to depict, she doesn't want to fill the pages with unnecessary description to restrict how the reader views the characters or places.

While this may not appeal to all readers, she hopes it appeals to others who like you add their own touch to the story. Maybe they would rather the walls be white instead of gray. Maybe they'd like to envision the person is tall instead of average height. While the description as she sees it is there, it's not written so strongly the own interpretation cannot be made and applied. It gives the reader some creative freedom in a hobby that isn't always as flexible.

Pretty quick read with Colt and Lex's relationship coming to an end. Or you think. This book was just a back and forth argument between the two solving absolutely nothing. So I don't understand why the book was called Redemption. I enjoyed Colt's father and mom getting back together. They were cute. Thing's in Black Valley are going to shit, and a rival gang has taken four of the ol ladies. Hopefully they keep Melanie. Sorry 🙃. Diane hasn't really been dealt with yet, and apparently there's a traitor amongst them. Ends on a cliffhanger

This book was a bit more exciting than the ones I’ve read so far, granted I’ve only read book 1, 13 & 14, which may give less credence to this assessment. 🙃
I don’t feel the unnerving frustration with Colt’s character because he is slowly (very slowly) crawling toward epiphanies about why Lex had to leave him, and because it doesn’t seem like he went any further than flirting and drunken nakedness. But Lex still had to tell Colt he needed to take accountability for their split, and since she made out with her work mate Ben, then I guess Lex and Cole are now evened out with his club bunny/stripper flirtations. I did notice no one brought up that he was at the strip club when he couldn’t even make it to his baby’s first birthday celebration, so I can get how Lex realises that no matter what, people, even one’s who support you during your struggles, sometimes hold back secrets from you unless it was just a throwaway/forgotten/dropped storyline aspect. 🤷🏽‍♀️
This patched in charter seems pretty unsavoury, unsophisticated and inept, which seems to lead to more issues, like stolen old ladies. Why would you strike against someone and not make sure the job is complete? The half-assery and assholery is pretty stellar. 😶
I like how Lacey put Diane down later with one punch 🤜 but felt disappointed in Psycho. He knows Lex but he really thought she was being stubbornly ruining her marriage and not just trying to wade through the aftermath of her husband’s bad decisions. Psycho literally witnessed some of Cole’s stupidity, everyone knew he was there too much voluntarily, Lex called around asking questions about issues stemming from the large pile her husband was dropping and no one could figure anything out? No one saw Lex for half a year but no one really noticed, and when you see her she looks like she’s struggling physically and mentally but the breakup must be all her? 😶 I feel no confusion in Lex’s reaction and decision regarding stepping back from her marriage and the club. I actually feel slightly confused no one expected it, since everyone knew if Colt wasn’t in town for the better part of a year, and you don’t see Lex for half of it, how hard is it to realise she’s alone, raising her kids, especially when Colt wasn’t missing birthday parties? Maybe I could get people not realising the situation if it had been a few weeks but six months - that is active ignorance, meaning you’re wilfully ignoring the obvious. Wouldn’t someone think to at least call up your friend or family to make sure they’re at least still breathing?
I guess we’re all innately selfish and self-absorbed in our own lives but if Lex is so ‘indispensable,’ why didn’t they notice sooner that something was wrong? 🫥

Another book that has it all!

Another hit out the park. I couldn’t get enough from start to finish. I enjoyed seeing another part to Lex, she was vulnerable and as a mother she felt like many others torn between family and knowing when to let go. However, I was glad to see the kick@##$ woman and friend we’ve all came to love and admire. She’s still Lex underneath all the pain, I hope she comes back even stronger and more confident, she deserves so much good after everything and always being there for everyone to come out on top and have others finally fight for her. ! I enjoyed how we all got to see a piece of the life’s of other characters and their views. The men really have to step up and see how much the women do and deal with, especially Colt, when will he stop hurting Lex, the girl has taken to many punches and sadly Psycho was disappointing with his behavior, what happened to his and Lex friendship? They were a team, twin flames and It was unique, rare, and fun to see and now he’s like everyone one else who hurt Lex. I hope we don’t have to wait long for the next book, I can’t wait to see how things develop. Please please give us more of these amazing Characters.

Ends on a cliffhanger!!!

So I haven’t read the others in the series, I saw a snippet of this one advertised and jumped in. Wow! It’s written well, I felt what the FC was going through, when she got so frustrated and upset I felt her emotions, it was crazy! There are bits I didn’t really get the depth of as I didn’t read the others in the series, but it tells you enough to understand, I’m guessing if you had read the whole series these reminders would probably annoy. I really liked the Lex character, I wanted Colt I get his head out of his butt and I can’t believe the whole book he couldn’t understand why she did what she did. I got it! The timeline was a bit confusing for me but I think that was just the writing style. You get chapters from other characters pov throughout.

This is a full length book that, in my understanding, flows straight from the previous book and this one goes straight into this book. This is book 14! And if they are all full length books then this is a hell of a long series. I probably won’t continue on with this series but I enjoyed this book.

There is still a lot going on for the Drifters and as they battle through adversity most are pulling together, solid and strong. Continuing from book 13, Lexi is struggling alone, with little support and despite being there for so many others her friendships are proven to be more take than give and she has to break away to hold herself up. Colt has to question what matters most and has he grasped the realisation that his pride could have cost him everything that matters.

Big issue for MC series readers seems to be the willingness of heroines to forgive everything too easily. Not here, women fight for respect and loyalty as hard as the brothers.

Not being made to wait for the next installment in this series was great but oh boy are we in for a heck of a time in book 15!

I absolutely adore this MC series, Redemption is another fantastic instalment. Be warned it does end in a cliffhanger. Colt and Lexi are my favourite couple from this series but they are in serious trouble in their marriage. I struggled with Colt for the first half of this book and just wanted to smack him upside the head, then I had trouble with Alex being so stubborn. This book made me cry for Lex, she’s always there for everyone else and has been majorly let down by the whole crew. The ending has me counting down the days till the next book, please put me out of my misery. Do yourself a favour , if you haven’t started this series, get into it, you won’t regret it.

good mc drama

Jumper into this story after finding it on an ad and needed to know more. It definitely kept me interested but I didn’t want to start from the beginning of the whole series. I like all the character developments but in this book I wasn’t sure how I felt about the continuously talking about the same thing with lex and colt’s relationship. It was a good comparison between the guys and girls the first couple times but it got old by the end. But it does show how the mc are very stuck in their way.

Full disclosure, I read books 1 & 2 then the samples of books 3-13. I wasn't completely invested in the series. But this book, I read from start to finish and loved it. I haven't been a fan of Cole's since the beginning so I really don't feel for him at all. My heart breaks for Lex. I can't wait 'til March after that ending.

Conflicted

I absolutely love this author, but I'm conflicted because it is still all about Lex and her problems! No matter how many times she says it herself about falling from the pedstool she was on, the book still reads as if she's still there! It honestly aggravates me!

What a story!

Wow, just wow. The plot thickens. This series is so good. Even though I was disappointed in the outcome of book 13, it was still a good story. Logan has become one of my favorite authors.

Wow

This is a bit churning book of love and betrayal. Two very prominent members of the club have reached breaking point and there seems no way to fix it.

Holy smokes batman!!! Another, cliffhanger. This is one action packed from the very start. Somethings will make your heart heavy and sad and others will make you smile and laugh. This book is very heavy with turmoil and suspicion. Things smell fishy all the way around. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book.
