This was a dragon shifter paranormal romance.
I loved this sweetly steamy and totally romantic story. Everything about it was a feel good read. Highly recommend!
Carmen Boaz is the directors of a charitable foundation running the Hope House, a residential children's group home. The home is in desperate need of repairs and additional staff.
Aldous Von Drago is a dragon shifter and a billionaire. He owns the Wyvern Group, a collection of hotel chains and high end resorts.
Carmen has a trust fund of $500 thousand dollars that she cannot access until she is 35 or until she marries. At only 28 she decides the best option is to marry so she can put the funds towards helping the children. She put in an application on the BfB Arranged Marriages website. A package is delivered to her at work containing a wedding dress also stating her application was approved and she would be married the next day. The Shifter Council's response to the dwindling population plaguing shifters is called the Brides for Beasts (BfB) initiative. Aldous briefly met Carmen at Christmas when he was delivering gifts for the kids and he has pined for her ever since. Knowing he was soon to be in an arranged marriage he left without pursuing her.
They are both thrilled when they meet in front of the officiant. They spend their wedding night in his luxurious home. Aldous does everything in his power to help Carmen when there is an earthquake which makes the children's home uninhabitable including putting them up in one of his hotels and hiring additional staff. He throws a gala to raise money for the new children's home. They get their HEA.

Carmen Boaz needs funding for Hope House, a children’s group home, or it will close down. She can’t claim her own inheritance until she is either 35 or married, which means she only has one of those choices she can make happen. Aldous Von Drago, a dragon shifter billionaire who needs to produce an heir is also left with limited choices. So each of them chooses to sign up with “Brides for Beasts” to arrange a marriage. Neither of them is aware that they had met previously, and both had been attracted to the other. But when she is walked toward the altar on their wedding day by Councilman Greyson, administrator of the arranged marriage program, Carmen feels herself react the same way she did when she had met a gorgeous man around Christmas that she was still fantasizing over. He turns toward her and both are stunned. It really is him! And she has never been happier.
But when Aldous takes her up to the roof to show her what he is, will she accept him and allow him to claim her with his mark? Aldous Van Drago is one of the last five dragons left on earth. He signs up for the Brides for Beasts program to try and save his species. Unfortunately, he can’t seem to forget the beautiful female that he met months ago that runs the Hope House orphanage. But it wouldn’t be fair to see her when he knows he is getting mated as soon as a match is found for him.

The story line is cute, especially considering we are talking about dragons. Fierce, beastly dragons that need to have a matchmaker to find a wife/mate. The series is about five dragons that need to find wives/mates and employ BfB Arrranged Marriages matchmaking agency to aid them. Carmen signs up because she needs to get married to gain access to her trust fund. She runs Hope House, a residential children’s home. Aldous signs up because he and his four dragon friends are the last of an ancient and noble draconian race and need to breed to continue their race. They have to marry and claim her with a mark. You’ll have to read the story to find out why.
The book is a short and enjoyable read. I like that this isn’t a typical dragon shifter story. There are enough tweaks to make it interestingly different. Both MCs are fiercely independent, and the writing is written so well that it is like taking a journey with them to see if they get their happily ever after.
I would recommend this book for those that like to have a short story that neatly wraps up the story; and for those that like love at first sight, magical dragon creatures, orphaned children, and fated mates tropes.

Both MCs are fiercely independent, and the writing is written so well that it is like taking a journey with them to see if they get their happily ever after.

Carmen has been doing her best to keep her residential children's home open. However finances are tight and if she can't get more funding, she will have to close the home. Luckily she has inherited money from her grandmother but she can't access it until she turns 35 or she gets married. She had signed up for an arranged marriage app but hasn't heard back from them. Then someone sends her a package with a wedding dress inside. She learns that her marriage is scheduled the next day but she wasn't told who the groom was. She arrives at the wedding to find out that she is marrying Aldous Von Drago, a billionaire. Sparks fly between the two but Carmen is confused about what Aldous expects from her. She is surprised at how well he treats her.
Aldous is one of only five dragon shifters left. Someone started the BfB agency to help rare shifters find mates. Aldous is cautious about mating because dragons can only mate if they are bonded. Dragon's Forever is an arranged marriage romance by Candace Ayers and Kym Dillon. This is also the first book in the authors' spin off series, Brides for Beasts: Dragons. I've really been enjoying the Brides for Beasts and Brides for Beasts: Wolves series - and I love dragon shifter stories, so this was a no brainer for me to read.
It is dragon shifter billionaire romance, of a shifter that longs for a mate and a human woman that needs to get married for the sake of the home she runs for displaced children. It's a quick and fun read, with a strong, handsome and super sweet dragon (Aldous) and a smart, beautiful and resilient human (Carmen). The couple only barely briefly met some months before the events of their arranged marriage takes place. Both having fantasies about the other, but they also both applied to Brides for Beasts to get the arranged marriage each was sure was the right decision for each other. After their marriage, with a good dose of instalove and mating, these two really went at warp speed to bring their lives together.

Both unaware until the wedding day who they were matched with brings surprise number one as fate has to intervene in the lives of the players on the chess board,yet again.

Short and Addictive!
Ooh! I love a good BfB storyline and Dragons are one of my favourite paranormal shifter to read!
Aldous is skeptical about joining the programme especially since after he had agreed he’d met and fallen instantly in love with a woman he’d met by chance.
Although he had fantasized about her every night since, he knew he was committed and would never see her again so imagine his delight and surprise when his bride turns out to be the one woman he’d fallen madly in love with.
Carmen couldn’t believe her luck when her intended husband turned out to be the one man she’d instantly connected to and dreamed about for months only to never see him again.
WOW! Loved the instant connection and passion between them, the tenderness and depth of caring was felt throughout the story.

Great dragon shifter story. Aldous signs up for an arranged marriage. Carmen is desperate to save her home for orphans and needs her inheritance to do it. She can't wait the few years until the money will be available to her. So she signs up to enter intovan arranged marriage meeting the condition in the will in order to get her money.
Fate is smiling on these two. Their attraction is off the charts. Aldous is perfect. He's handsome, he's a gentleman, he's a billionaire. He is considerate and romantic and protective. And he thinks he got the better deal when he married Carmen. Now all he has to do is figure out how to tell her he's a dragon shifter.

I loved Dragon's Forever: Book 1 of Brides for Beasts: Dragons. Aldous is about to marry someone he’s never met, unfortunately, he can’t get Carmen out of his mind but he’s loyal so he will let her go. Carmen signed up for BFB because she needs her inheritance to save Hope House, she wishes she was marrying the stranger she met at Christmas but it wasn’t meant to be. Imagine the surprise they both have when they find each other at the alter. Fate has stepped in but Aldous still has a big secret he must reveal and hope that he isn’t rejected by Carmen. I loved this storyline and the characters. I think this is going to be a great addition to the BFB stories. I would definitely recommend this book.

Carmen signed up on the BfB arranged marriages site in order to save Hope House a children’s home she has she needs access to her trust fund had to get married or wait til 35 and had to have the money sooner. Aldous knew that he would have an arranged marriage so when he had seen Carmen he didn’t want to start something and give her up but on his wedding day the bride was Carmen and made him very happy. After their wedding night they woke up to an earthquake having destroyed the children’s home, he sent the children to one of his hotels until things were decided about the home. After seeing his dragon she realized that she wasn’t like her mother mental wise. Good book!.

Loved it!! This was a wonderful short read. The BfB program is helping shifters find a mate. Carmen is the owner of the Hope House. Struggling financially she signs up for the BfB program. Aldous is a dragon shifter looking for a mate. Little did he know the very woman he's been pining for is his intended bride. Highly entertaining read from the start. Candace has done an amazing job with this series of finding their forever love. Truly a must read if you love a good steamy romance with a HEA!.

White hot passion - Aldous and Carmen never imagined they would see each other after a Christmas Eve delivery (REF BFB: Wolves). He knew he was drawn to her, but honor deterred him from engaging with her as he had signed up for an arranged bride. She felt the pull as well, disheartened when the hottie walked away. Now they are married, and their desire is allowed free reign to blaze out of control. A great series starter for the dragons. His buddies had better be prepared to get their wings knocked off by their perfect partners, teasing by Aldous free of charge.

You lost me by chapter two. I do not want to hear about the MMC and his entertainment of other women, fail lala. I am so tired of manwhore/virgin trope so over player the FMC is 28 for gods sake. No she isn’t technically a virgin but during their first intimate scene she is inter monologuing how she has little to no experience because she is soooo busy being a martyr 🤮 THE FMCs default setting is martyr and it’s obnoxious. Really, freaking really, he can’t be a dragon it has to be that I am mentally ill, and I must leave him so he isn’t burdened with a crazy wife, be so for real 👏! Ugh this author style ain’t my jam.

Carmen will either have to get married or aged to thirty-five. Well Carmen is twenty eight, so she goes on a quest to find a husband. Carmen signs up at the BfB agency aka Brides for Beasts. Carmen is matched with a tall drink of water and dragon called Aldous Von Drago. The first book in the Brides for Beasts: Dragons. Carmen Boaz needs money to keep Hope House in LA, a home for orphaned children running, so she decides to apply to the Brides for Beasts program and is matched with Aldous Van Drago one of the last five dragons left on earth so wants to save his kind. The story has drama, suspense, twists, turns, a surprise and romance. The story is well worth reading, it held my interest and kept me turning pages. Aldous and Carmen. She has a childrens home and if finances dont improve she'll have to close. Her grandmother has left her money but she cant get it till shes 35 or married. So she signs up to be matched for marriage. He is a rare dragon and signs up for the mating site. When he is paired with Carmen he sends her a gift. She wonders what he wants from her. He is surprised that she is his mate when they meet and he knows he must move slow so not to scare her away. Loved it.

This was a fun series opener and I love how Aldous and Carmen have a past that neither knew would make the present so much more palatable. Fantastic, even ;) These two had chemistry that burned so hot but they had much to learn about each other to find the trust they needed to make their future together secure. With some drama to add excitement to their journey, I loved seeing them find their HEA ;D

Let me start by saying, there’s nothing wrong with this book.
All the issues I have, are totally about preference.
This has good dialogue, decent characters, seemingly reasonable plot…
However, I’m just too old for this 😂🤣
It’s classic, shallow, fast, cheesy PNR.
Twenty years ago I probably would have thought this good fun.
But nowadays, I need more.
Good luck to the author and those who enjoy. 😉

I enjoyed Aldous and Carmens story. It was sweet

Aldous offers help from the beginning which she is reluctant to take at first but when a disaster strikes and all the kids have to leave the home it’s Aldous who helps and she is really grateful
He tell her they need to goto a benefit and when they get there it’s for her home
I liked these two together I felt they really suited each other and who wouldn’t want a dragon

Love modern dragon tales
The mention of mental health and growing up with it and the fear that it can happen to you is referenced in our female lead fears. This is one of the fears of any child that grew up in a volatile environment with a parent or both suffering from mental health. I enjoy how he guides her and does not try to take away her agency. She’s still strong willed and doing work with the foundation and the orphanage.
