Really good information on the 1978 Giants and how the players came to the team and did during that season and in a few years after. I learned a lot about Mike Ivie, Jack Clark, Gary Lavelle, Bob Knepper and others. However, the book is repetitive and I was hoping for a little more. It also seems the author has a gripe toward other sports reporters during that time and it gets old after a chapter or two. I was also kind of hoping more for what the climate was in SF during the 1978 season, kind of like what the book Lincoln Mitchell did. Oh well, not for everyone, but people that are Giants' fans AND very religious will enjoy this one.
