Rosa, Titch, Hot and co are all back in this fabulous new story. I was so excited to be able to catch up with all of my favourite characters, a couple of years after the previous book, which also makes it a bit easier for those new to the series to be able to read it as a standalone.
There is so much drama involved, it keeps you on your toes the whole time, but it also has the continuation of many storylines, into even better places.
It is actually impressive just how much story is packed into this book, it is on the go continually, and I was just loving every moment of it.
There is an incident with the hotel inspector, there's despicable behaviour from a girlfriend, there is a hilarious sounding reindeer, a scandalous Santa, a fabulous Christmas charity fundraising effort, more babies than you can easily count, possibly more dogs too, and seeing how Rosa is now coping with motherhood is rather interesting.
Titch is feisty as ever and it is good to see how she is getting on with The Corner Shop. I could wax lyrical about how fabulous it is to catch up with all the regular characters, but if you are already a fan of this series, then you should 100% experience it for yourself, and if you haven't then I don't want to spoil things from the previous books.
This is written with Nicola May's typical flair and grit, and is just another impressive book in this series. So happy that it was written and just have to wonder whether this really is the end of the Cockleberry Bay 4 book trilogy, or if there will be more from Rosa and co.
Thank you to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
