Wow! Is the whole series going to be this epic?!? Because I am here for it! Impossible Treasure had surprising twists and turns all throughout, and the ending was amazing!! The chemistry between them was off the charts good. I highly recommend this book for all fans of clean romantic suspense.

Beginning of a new series A Chance for Charity by Cami Checketts.
Cash is a retired Green Beret who is dying from cancer. He’s been chosen to participate in a reality show and is guaranteed 5 million dollars for being in the first segment and recommending other former special forces men to be in other shows for a million dollars each.
Brylee is his partner in the adventure and if they find the treasure they are searching for she gets a million dollars for her charity to help immigrates avoid sex trafficking.
They are immediately attracted to each other but know they won’t have a future together, or will they?

This is definitely going to be another winning series by Ms. checketts. She had a series similar to this one earlier. Another billionaire would like to spread their money to various charities by having the founder of the charity go on reality television in search of the treasure. Brylee Auburn works to keep immigrants and children safe from trafficking with her charity. Captain Cash Trapper is a retired Green Beret with nothing to lose but wanting to leave his Gyms for veterans pairing with underprivileged at-risk youth in good standing. The two are paired in the first episode of the series. Will they be able to stay alive long enough to locate the treasure?

Loved Cash and Brylee's story. The adventure, danger, and suspense. I worry about Cash and, thus, Brylee. It's a double edged sword where I want the full series to see what happens with him, but I don't want the series to be over!

Sweet, Insta-love & Suspenseful
Cami Checketts is a new to me author and I must say I enjoyed her suspenseful romance, Impossible Treasure. This is the first book in the A Chance for Charity series.
The basis of the book is that there is a reality TV show to win money for charitable organizations. Cash, a retired green beret captain, has cancer and only months to live. He wants to earn money so he can set up gyms for veterans providing jobs and helping them as well as troubled youth. Cash is on the show to help and protect the contestant. Little did he know he’d meet the woman of his dreams, when he has such an undesirable diagnosis.
Brylee, the contestant, is a feisty red head wanting to raise money for trafficked victims charity. There is an instant connection between the two MCs. Both have insecurities that they learn to overcome as they search for the hidden money.
I enjoyed all the quotes from movies and descriptions of actors throughout the book. I could see and hear Brylee’s impersonations as I read them. Her way of using humor to deflect from her uncertainty and lighten the mood when needed, made the connection she and Cash had that much stronger.
If you enjoy sweet insta-love, suspense and a happy for now ending, you’ll enjoy Impossible Treasure. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Mercedes Belle, a billionaire with a mission to give money to charities, had come up with a reality show starring women who started needed charities and needed money and ex-vets who also had a need for money to finance projects which helped others. She needed a well-liked vet to bring in vets to back up the women in these somewhat dangerous activities. She came to Captain Cash Tanner who ran five gyms which allowed vets to use free and who also brought in at-risk kids who the vets helped to get these youths out of poverty and gangs. The vets would get a million dollars for participating and the women would get a million dollars for completing the activities. Cash finally agreed so he could set up his gyms to continue to run after his death. He had developed cancer and was not expected to live beyond eighteen months. Ironically, Mercedes had the same prognosis. They agreed that their having cancer would remain under wraps.
Cash led the vets by taking on the first activity. He was paired with Brylee Auburn, a gorgeous redhead, whose charity provided safe places for children and families to help them avoid traffickers. The two were placed on a vacant island where 25 flags had been placed. The island was covered in dense jungle vegetation. Below one of the flags was buried a million dollars. With supplies, food, tents, sleeping bags, and some other supplies, they had to find the million dollars within five days. Can they do this?

A heartbreaking book
Cash's impassioned speech to Mercedes "I would never betray the secrets of a fellow soldier in this losing battle neither of us signed up for" sets the time for this book. Everything feels like it is on a timer with an expiry looming over their heads and whilst I love that Mercedes is doing this in her brother's memory and using Vets, she almost blackmails or bribes Cash into doing it which I was a little uneasy about. The relationship Cash and Brylee form tugs at the heart strings, there is so much unknown and the book does end with their story unfinished. I found this book difficult as it hits very close to home, which is only exacerbated with the incomplete ending, I do think it maybe needs a trigger warning as the emotional rollercoaster Cash is on is too raw for some and there were points I had to stop and walk away to compose myself before I could continue.

I love to read Cami Checketts' books. Each and every one of them is a great escape from life. And I'll be honest and say that's something I've needed the last little bit.
This book features Cash and Brylee. I love the way the two of them were together. Brylee felt something for Cash from the very first time they met, as they were getting their instructions for finding her money. And she spent the whole book trying to convince him the two of them should be together.
Only...Cash has a secret that the reader knows from the very beginning of the book. And he doesn't want Brylee to be hurt because of his secret. I loved how he took care of Brylee when they were both in danger.
I loved the way this book kept me on the edge of my seat! I can't wait for my next book by this author!

Great story, but the HFN...
My recommendation? Plan to read the series, and enjoy this fresh, Christian Romance Suspense. The couple is adorable. An insecure redhead with a talent for voices and a Military Veteran with a terminal illness are matched up to spend a week alone on an island to win big money for their respectively impressive charities.
I enjoyed the characters, plot and setting. The events are timed nicely and it was a good insta-love. This particular HFN had a series arc cliffhanger that made the ending problematic as a stand-alone. That aside, I'm looking forward to continuing the series as the excitement continues.

For an adult book I was shocked by the teenage romance. This book in my opinion could have been better for me had they cut the kissing scenes on every page to about 1/10 of what was there. It was just too much. The characters knew very little about each other over the short 4 day journey in this book and yet they fell in love and had a bit to much lip locking for learning about each other. For a Christian fiction book I feel like the book could have had a bit more of the faith journey of the characters without being preachy. I would say it was 80% kissing 8% Christian fiction and 12% adventure. Not sure if this is this authors style or not.

This story is full of suspense and romance that keeps you reading till late in the night. Part of me wanted to keep reading and part of me wanted to peek at the next page because I was afraid to know what was going to happen. I am excited for the next story in the series. Because this one left me hanging.

Survivor Story
Cash and Brylee were given the opportunity to win a lot of money. They needed to find the money on a tropical island.
This was all part of a reality show. Their adventures were recorded. Going through this island was very difficult because of the thick foliage. Cash needed to use a machete to clear the way.
Brylee and Cash were strong Christians, and their faith in God helped them suwasrvive the rigors of this adventure.
There was also danger lurking for them.
The strong characters and story was fabulous!

Brylee's spunk and Cash's strength make them an incredible team. So fun to watch them take on the world together! The real challenge in this book is one I couldn't see a way to overcome. I loved the lush tropical island setting and the romantic waterfall! This series is starting strong. I am curious to see where a couple of the other characters will land as the series continues. Very intriguing... Looking forward to more!

Sweet Romance with some Surprises
Oh man! Cash is such a great guy, even though he has cancer and is dying, he still takes on a treasure hunt to help Brylee get a million dollars for her charity and five million for his gyms for soldiers and teens that need someplace safe to go. Brylee is a sweetheart! I love how she tests him! There is plenty of kissing! I cried at the end and I’m hoping they get their HEA.

This is the beginning of a new series, which is similar to another series that the author had done before, but it looks as though it's going to be a fun series. A new reality TV series pairs former special forces men with women for a chance to earn money for their charities.
Interspersed into this story are humor, romance, adventure, and a bit of suspense and danger. I loved Brylee's sense of humor and accents, the movie quotes, and the chemistry between her and Cash. The ending was great.

This is an interesting take on a reality show. Rather then winning something for yourself, you and a partner are working together for your charities. Cash and Brylee are both passionate about the charity work they do. Working together on a deserted island they have a week to ring the money! Easy with a former Green Beret and intelligent women from TX. Throw in a couple of uninvited bad guys and you get quite the adventure.

What a ride! Well written characters, Mercedes, Shawn, but especially Cash and Brylee. Dealing with a reality show, criminals, and discovering their love for each other. Cash almost dying, the only thing that convinced him he couldn’t be without Brylee, even if she had to see him get weaker and die from the cancer. I love that God gave her peace about it before she even knew it was cancer.

Absolutely perfect blend of faith, romance and danger. This is an incredible story that I couldn’t put down. Brylee climbing the waterfall, intruders at camp, these are just a couple scenes that will grip your emotions. And all the quirky banter. I loved this beginning to a new series and can’t wait for the next one.

Captain Cash Trapper and Brilee
Were on a treasure hunt for a Million for her Cause. You have to read this book ASAP. There are so so so many twist and turns just in the first three Chapters. There are toooooooooo many great parts, chapters, etc to put in this review. I give it 10 stars.

Loved this book!!!
I love this book, the story line was suspenseful and the ending, well you will just have to read it for yourself. The way Jesus was woven throughout the story was so encouraging and uplifting. This is a must read as will be the rest of the series. I can’t wait for more!!!

This series is incredible! I am on book three(3) now and each one gets better!
This opening book sets the stage for great romance, a bit of intrigue and lots of adventure! There are also some seemingly impossible things that they're needing to work on to complete their tasks so our heroines can win $1,000,000!
And, maybe, win the guy??? Read it for yoursel!

Positively refreshing outlook
I loved the sweet characters in this book. The eternal optimism and not being afraid to pray and show your faith in front of others was refreshing in this time we’re living in. All in all a good read leaving you with a hopeful heart and a sigh

Wow, talk about a series starter, I’m not sure my heart can stand more. Cami Checketts gives us a mystery of sorts (where is the money), romance, humor, danger, a treasure (a million dollars) and a secret. I can’t wait to see what the author has for us next.

Charity, a very good basis fir love.
The adventure these 2 shared was a very good and exhilarating story. I love Cami Checketts stories. She definitely has a way with the word. She also weaves God throughout the theme. A must read.

Another amazing adventure from Cami! I was thrilled to see a spin of from her previous series. Cash and Brylee had such a great adventure and oh Cash...I can't wait to see where this series goes. I love her adventures series and this was great start!
