Jinty James grew up reading Enid Blyton's Famous Five and Secret Seven mysteries, as well as all the Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden books. Later on, she graduated to mysteries written by Agatha Christie, Elizabeth Peters, and many other authors. It was her dream to one day write her own cozy mystery, and now she has, with plans for many more.

Pru, who's an assistant librarian in Gold Leaf Valley, takes a yoga class that's on the tough side. She's not sure she'll return nor are her friends. But when she and Martha (her roommate) along with Martha's puppy, Teddy, find a woman's body who's associated with the yoga class, Martha declares it a case for the senior sleuthing club. Pru teaches her own yoga class in hopes of drawing out some suspects. When the two women find a second body, they wonder if and how the two deaths are connected.

I've really enjoyed this new series by Jinty James and this book is no exception. I did receive an ARC of this book and this is my honest, unbiased review. The book's well-written with wonderful characters and it immediately drew me in keeping me from start to finish. This captivating story was a quick, fun read and it's a clean cozy mystery. The series features a feisty senior named Martha and her younger roommate, Pru, as well as an adorable puppy named Teddy. I loved this book and am looking forward to the next one. I highly recommend both book and series which I think is best read in order but each book can be read on its own.

Such a clever mystery with yoga!🤩

Martha, Pru and Teddy are back in another clever and puzzling mystery. This time the gang gets to experience the world of yoga and also have to deal with a blast from the past.

Pru is so happy for an opportunity to try yoga in her own town and when someone connected to the yoga community is found dead Pru, Martha and little sweet Teddy really have to put their sleuthing hats on.

Can the Senior Sleuthing Club find out who the killer is, while at the same time going undercover and teaching yoga classes? Add in another murder and dealing with Pru’s past you will have a hard time figuring out who the culprit or culprits are.

This enjoyable book will keep you guessing until the end. Enjoy!

Pru was really coming outta her shell after she’d confronted someone from her past who was in town. Even her boss had something nice to say about Pru at one point and I can honestly say I like Pru’s character a whole lot better after this book. And I think a certain single, cute detective really likes her a lot! Can’t wait to see where that leads.

The showdown was a good one and sweet little Teddy helped a lot which was so darn cute. The ending was pretty sweet and now I’m eager to read the next book.

I am a fan of this series! The feel is immediately warm. Home. The characters are wonderful, and of course Teddy steals the show! It’s a fast read, but well-developed. I was wrong about whodunit, and I love that! Clever!

Light cozy mystery with Pru, Martha and her dog, Teddy, involved in puzzling out the murder of a yoga teacher, Sunny, a rather demanding and unsympathetic person. As usual, the antics of Teddy are delightful as they unravel the events and the reason for murder. Cute and pleasant series.
